The Dragon of Death's blade, [Divider of the Sky], had came on impact on Miya's body, but it went through like a mist.
His eyes widened a bit, then Miya was walking away from behind with dead silence. The Dragon of Death glanced behind him, as his body trembles, black blood had started flowing down his body and face.
Miya cleaned her heavenly blade. She was quiet though. No sound came out of her whatsoever. The dragon of death coughed up a lot of blood.
He covered up his mouth as he collapses onto his knees on the snowy ground. His eyes were widened in shock.
How....? I couldn't sense her attack! She stood there, and I swung, but yet, she vanished! How does one being move that quickly to avoid one singular attack! There were questions that were unanswered in his head.
The dragon of death had stood up after regenerating his wounds. Miya had stopped walking away from him and sighed.
"Tell me this... what is death to somebody who's above both life and death?" Miya asks quietly, but loud enough for the Dragon of Death to hear.
"Are you... questioning me?" The dragon of death's voice had risen in anger.
"You de-transformed back into your human vessel just now... it makes me wonder, who's your master?" Miya asks with a quiet tone. She was quieter than before.
Miya wasn't cocky. She wasn't confident. She was just as quiet as the night sky. The dragon of death glanced at her confused.
"I'm not telling you shit!" The dragon of death was about to shoot a large beam of Nihility magic.
Miya had already severed in half, but he regenerated. His eyes widened more in shock, he was unsure about what's going on.
I died... then I regenerated..?? What's going on? Shit! So she can kill me! She's adapted to me! She can kill me and bring me back to life like nothing happened! He became panic in his head.
He trembled in fear. The dragon of death had finally met his match. Everyone in heaven and even Lucifer was watching.
Michael sighed in heaven.
"Oh thank you! I'm so glad she's safe! Father, she hadn't died and I'm happ-" Michael was cut off, as blood spurted out of Miya's body.
The dragon of death glanced and was still in shock. It wasn't his doing. Miya then collapsed, bleeding, she couldn't regenerate her wounds.
"Come on pet.. you've been outmatched. Let's head home." says the Void God, Tristan Granbell.
He was calm as he needed to intervene before the dragon of death died completely.
"Y-You saved me master? that why I didn't get hit?" says the dragon of death, trembling in fear.
"Yes. My ability, [Thread of the Void], allowed me to imbue it with the nature of the void in which stopped her attack." says Tristan Granbell as he sighed.
Miya then tried to stand up as she bleeds out, knowing that wouldn't kill her, but she couldn't regenerate her wounds just from the touch of it.
She then faced the dragon of death with a blank stare. Both the dragon of death and Tristan stared into her eyes.
"You must be the master...." says Miya as she walked towards them.
"Yes, and you're Miya. My pet had a good fight, but he'll be forfeiting this match." says Tristan as he smiles.
Miya glanced at them and sighed. She became suspicious of him as they both stared into each others eyes.
"We'll be leaving now. I hope you regenerate from this, Miya Katagari." says Tristan as he used [Thread of the Void] in which sliced Miya into many pieces.
A little hand gesture was made from Miya before she was severed into many pieces like meat. Tristan and the dragon of death teleported away.
Michael, from above, watched as his eyes widened in shock. He was in a state of confusion and paralysis that he couldn't form words. Then his anger built up instantly, as God glanced over.
"I'll kill that shit head..." Michael murmured as he clenched his fists and rolled them into a ball.
God knew she was still alive. He knew Miya had did something, that would surprise even Michael.
Michael trembled in sadness and Abel saw this. He immediately knew, something happened.
"Sir Michael?" Abel tries to get his attention, but he snapped and pushed Abel away as he left in anger and sadness.
Abel glanced at him with sorrow and concerns.
"That boy has some deep love to Miya... I'd be angry too, Abel. Although, she's alive. I can't tell Michael that though..." says God as Abel sighed.
"She's alive, but how? She's been sliced like a piece of meat?" says Abel as he was questioning it.
"You'll see.." says God as he left, leaving Abel alone with his thoughts.
Abel went back to his place to relax and think about the current situation. Michael, on the other hand, strategizes as he sat there.
Three hours later, Heaven had started to tremble. Abel and the other Archangels had left their rooms and glanced at each other.
"What's going on?" Abel was concerned, and unsure about the situation. Michael glanced at Abel and looked up into the golden skies.
"It's not an earthquake that's for sure... probably somebody is here. Most likely that Tristan Granbell..." says Michael with his voice being carried with seriousness.
Azrael had put up multi-dimensional barriers around heaven which protects everyone, but Heaven continued trembling.
Michael sighs and his thoughts was going back to Miya. Abel glanced over at Michael and walked towards him and sat down.
"Hey Michael? You doing ok?" Abel asks with concern in his voice as he glanced at Abel's eyes.
"Yeah... just worried about Miya. When she was up here for the first time, me and her were getting along just fine before she left to go to the Hollow Land... but now she's dead Abel..." says Michael with his head down, then Able pat his back.
"You'll be ok, she can regenerate back right? It's going to be fine." Abel smiled as he spoke those words.
They sat in silence as they heard footsteps. It was the Goddess of Fate, Freya. Freya walked over to them.
"Hey, seems like I've been resurrected by Miya, but that's besides the point. Where is she? I haven't heard the news about it. Did she win?" says Freya with curiosity. Michael and Abel stayed silent.
Freya immediately knew she lost. Her eyes widened in shock as tears flows down her cheeks. Heaven continued trembling, then the barrier shattered completely.
Everyone looked up and noticed it was Tristan Granbell, the Void God.
Michael saw him and his anger boiled up in him. He was fueled by sorrow as Tristan descended down into the land of the Heavens.
God saw this and disappeared, knowing he can intervene, but can't.
"So this is what Heaven looks like huh? Well, it sure is interesting. Miya's dead, and I'm glad. To be fair, she put up a good fight." says Tristan as he landed on foot.
Michael's anger flared up more as his true angelic form was starting to reveal itself. Tristan, however, noticed him and smiled at Michael.
"You must be Michael! Michael Morningstar! The one that Lucifer talked about!" Tristan says with excitement.
"Us heavenly beings care about others, so killing Miya had broke me... so I'll be avenging her, by defeating you.. Tristan Granbell!" Michael shouts in anger as Tristan started laughing.
"Hahahaha! You want to fight me, the Void God, and you'll be avenging your little friend? You know, you'll be joining her soon!" says Tristan as he chuckled. He got up close to Michael, up against his face, invading his space.
He rolled his fists into balls and clenched them in anger. That was until God tapped him on the shoulder with a calm expression.
"Take it easy. Do what you must to avenge Miya and her so-called death, ok my child?" says God with a calming tone.
Michael glanced at him and nods, but he was confused about one thing.
"So-called death? Wait, are you telling me she's alive?!" Michael exclaims in shock as Tristan glanced over at both them.
She's alive? But how... I remember cutting her like a piece of meat.. Miya... what are you exactly? Tristan's thoughts had went into a state of shock and confusion.
Michael sighed and looked at Tristan, dead in the eyes with a calm expression that replaced his anger.
"Heh... I guess... she really is alive, then that means I don't need to go full power on you, Tristan Granbell." says Michael as he chuckled slightly.
Tristan got out of his state of shock and smirked, facing Michael.
"Love really is a concept that's foolish. Why love when it causes destruction?" Tristan's question had hit Michael like a truck.
He stood there, in silence as Tristan smirked, knowing he had hit a nerve in his body. Of course, Michael needed to prove that he's worthy of feeling love, even if it was a concept that's built from hatred.
