Chapter 51 - Chapter 51 My CPU is burning up!

"How interesting," Tony said, clapping his hands.

"Are you implying that you have more connections than Tony Stark?

In fact, I don't care how much it costs."

William didn't mind Tony's rebuttal.

He pointed to a clause in the contract: "Look at this.

My insurance doesn't pay out based on the amount of loss.

Instead, it's priced according to the difficulty of solving the problem."

"What does this 'Identity Exposure Response Plan' mean?" Tony asked, pointing to one of the clauses.

William lowered his voice: "Mr. Stark, if one day your superhero identity is revealed, how do you plan to deal with it?"

Tony was stunned for a moment: "What superhero identity?"

"Don't pretend," William said, shaking his head helplessly.

"After you returned from Afghanistan, you immediately closed the weapons division and announced at the press conference that you would take responsibility for past mistakes.

A normal businessman wouldn't do something that harms his own interests unless he has another plan."

"Plus your research on the Arc Reactor, and the 'flying armor' I just mentioned, your expression has already given you away."

William shrugged, "You want to personally make amends for past mistakes, don't you?"

Tony was silent for a few seconds, then suddenly burst out laughing: "With your observational skills, you'd definitely make more money as a private detective than selling insurance."

"I considered it, but private detectives are too dangerous," William said, spreading his hands.

"I'm a coward; selling insurance is safer."

"Suppose, and I mean suppose, what you said really happened.

What kind of help could you provide?"

Just then, a system prompt suddenly sounded in William's mind.

"Ding! High-value target detected: Tony Stark. Analyzing target risk profile…"

"Analysis complete! Recommending the following insurance products for the target:"

"Iron Man Identity Exposure Emergency Insurance" - Covers risks such as media crisis, government pressure, and enemy retaliation after identity exposure.

"Arc Reactor Malfunction Insurance" - Addresses technical malfunctions and maintenance of core life support equipment.

"Superhero Equipment Damage Insurance" - Covers damage and repair of high-tech equipment in combat.

"Family and Friends Safety Protection Insurance" - Protects important individuals from retaliatory attacks.

"Company Reputation Crisis Insurance" - Deals with situations where heroic activities affect corporate image.

"Ding! Based on the uniqueness of the target, the extremely high uncertainty of future events, and its potential impact on the convergence of the Worldline.

System permissions temporarily elevated.

Unlocking and recommending the following 'Conceptual Level' and 'Metaphysical Risk' hedging solutions:"

William's smile instantly froze for a moment.

Conceptual level.

Metaphysical risk.

What in the World was all this?

He felt his insurance knowledge reserves were challenged as never before.

On the system interface, several new lines of insurance names, emanating a faint golden glow, appeared.

"'I Am Iron Man' — Heroic Will Wavering and Belief Collapse Risk Hedging Protocol": Covers the risk of losing the hero's core driving force due to major setbacks, sacrifices, or external manipulation, providing psychological intervention, memory anchor reinforcement, and 'Original Intention Review' services.

"'The Price of Genius' — Creativity Exhaustion and Cognitive Fixation Special Guarantee": Targets the stagnation of innovative thinking caused by over-exertion, mental stress, or force majeure, providing cross-disciplinary inspiration injection, cognitive boundary expansion assistance, and 'Spark of Thought' activation solutions.

"'The Weight of the Future' — Seer's Dilemma and Responsibility Overload Counseling Insurance": Covers the psychological pressure and behavioral distortion caused by foreseeing future disasters and bearing responsibilities beyond individual capacity, providing responsibility sharing simulation, worst-case scenario rehearsal, and 'Letting Go Is Taking Responsibility' philosophical counseling.

"'Mortal Body, Divine Might' — Loss of Existential Meaning and Blurred Self-Positioning Comprehensive Insurance": Addresses the doubt about one's own value and the sense of alienation from human society that may arise when individual power reaches a superhuman level, providing humanitarian spirit reshaping, social connection rebuilding, and 'Hero Is Also Mortal' experience courses.

William's eye twitched involuntarily a few times.

Could these insurances still be called insurance?

This was like a high-end customized service launched by some mysterious organization or psychological treatment institution.

And the terms were more obscure than the last.

What the hell was an "Original Intention Review" service?

What was a "Spark of Thought" activation solution?

And that "Letting Go Is Taking Responsibility" philosophical counseling—would a philosopher pop out to debate with him when a claim was made?

William took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down.

"Mr. Stark, regarding your hypothetical question just now, I happen to have a few targeted insurance plans here."

William calmly took out two pre-set insurance plans from his briefcase.

"As a risk management consultant, my job is to formulate coping strategies for clients before they even realize the risks."

Tony took the documents and glanced at them: "'Arc Reactor Accidental Protection Insurance'?

That name… is very targeted."

William was secretly pleased, but his expression remained calm.

"This is a special type of insurance I designed for high-tech entrepreneurs.

Think about it!

For an inventor of your caliber, once a core technology has a problem, the losses cannot be solved by a few million or tens of millions."

"For example, what if that glowing little gadget in your chest suddenly went on strike?"

William pointed casually at Tony's chest, "Or worse, what if it was stolen?"

Tony subconsciously pressed his chest, his expression subtle.

"From the looks of your physical condition, it's clearly not as simple as a mere change of heart."

Tony glared at William and continued to read the insurance terms:

"This claim condition… provide an equally effective substitute within 2 hours? Are you sure you're not joking?"

William's face didn't flush, and his heart didn't pound: "Absolutely real and effective. We have a professional technical team and the World's top scientific research resource integration capabilities."

In his heart, he was frantically complaining:

System, please don't mess up!

I've already boasted so much!

"Ding! Host, please rest assured, the system has cross-dimensional resource allocation capabilities, and if necessary, can extract corresponding items from parallel Universes or future timelines. This service is only available when a claim is triggered."

William's eyelids twitched.

Cross-dimensional?

Parallel Universe?

What exactly was this system?
