"What's the second one?"
"'Genius Inventor Creative Exhaustion Comprehensive Protection Insurance'."
William introduced it with a serious expression.
"This type of insurance is specifically designed for super geniuses like you."
Tony paused, "Creative exhaustion?"
"Exactly, geniuses are human too, and brains get tired."
William spread his hands, looking as if it were the most obvious thing.
"What if one day you suddenly lose all inspiration and can't come up with anything new? Or your thoughts get stuck in a dead end and you can't get out?"
"In such cases, our claims service includes: interdisciplinary expert team consultations, customized creative stimulation therapy, and even…"
William lowered his voice, leaning slightly forward.
"Certain special 'inspiration injection' services."
Tony raised an eyebrow, "Special inspiration injection? Sounds like some illicit drug."
"Completely legal and compliant!"
William immediately clarified, speaking quickly as if defending himself.
"We use the most cutting-edge cognitive science technology, through specific brainwave regulation and neural stimulation, to help your brain reactivate creative thinking."
Tony picked up the document and studied it carefully, his frown deepening the more he read.
He felt something was off.
"These insurance terms… why do they seem tailor-made specifically for me?"
"Professional risk assessors all have this kind of intuition."
William leaned back on the sofa, relaxed.
"The moment I saw you, I knew you were the type who either doesn't do something, or does it to the extreme.
People with this personality are most likely to hit a technical bottleneck or psychological barrier at critical moments."
Pepper finally couldn't take it anymore.
"Wait, Tony,"
Her voice was soft but clear.
"Are you hiding something from me?"
William and Tony looked at Pepper simultaneously.
The air in the living room suddenly went silent for three seconds.
"Ahem."
William cleared his throat, breaking the silence.
"Ms. Potts, as Mr. Stark's personal assistant and most important business partner, I suggest you also consider our 'Senior Executive Accidental Disclosure Insurance'."
"What?"
Pepper looked bewildered.
"Simply put, when your boss suddenly reveals certain… rather explosive secrets to you, we provide a full set of psychological counseling, legal confidentiality agreement support, and even, if necessary, memory processing services."
William's expression was extremely serious.
"Believe me, some truths, once known, really will keep you up at night."
Tony couldn't help but laugh, "Memory processing? Are you planning to open a brainwashing clinic?"
"It's memory optimization, not brainwashing."
William corrected, "We just help clients better organize and process information that might cause psychological burden, making life a little easier."
Pepper looked at Tony, then at William, feeling as if she were in the center of some absurd comedy stage.
"Actually, it's nothing major."
Tony suddenly dropped all joking expressions, the lines on his face becoming serious.
"Pepper, there are indeed some things I haven't told you. About my experience in Afghanistan, and the project I was busy with in the Underground Room yesterday."
William keenly noticed the change in atmosphere; he didn't push the sale further but interjected at the right moment: "Mr. Stark, I suggest you consider these two insurance policies first. After all, some risks are better prevented sooner rather than later."
Tony was silent for a moment, then suddenly looked up at William, his gaze sharp.
"What if I said I need to test your claims service right now?"
William's heart skipped a beat, his blood seemingly rushing to his head, but the expression on his face didn't change at all.
"Is there anything you need help with?"
"This thing in my chest,"
Tony reached out and pressed the Arc Reactor, "does have some minor issues; the power output isn't stable enough."
This was a live assessment from Tony Stark!
William's eyes lit up.
The opportunity had arrived!
"That's quite a coincidence, Mr. Stark. We can just demonstrate the efficiency of our claims service right here."
Tony unbuttoned the top few buttons of his shirt, revealing the circular device embedded in his chest, glowing with a faint blue light.
It was embedded in his flesh, and the edges where it connected to his skin were slightly red.
"This thing is indeed a bit unstable; sometimes the power output suddenly drops."
William leaned closer, pretending to observe carefully, but inwardly he was frantically calling the system.
"Ding! Early symptoms of palladium poisoning detected. Arc Reactor efficiency decreased by 12%, severe health risks expected within the next 6-8 months."
"Recommend immediate activation of the 'Arc Reactor Accidental Protection Insurance' claims procedure."
"From the appearance, there are indeed signs of unstable energy output."
William nodded nonchalantly, his tone like an experienced engineer.
"However, the root cause of this problem might be more complex than you imagine."
Tony raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
William cleared his throat, "According to our company's technical analysis, long-term close-to-body use of such portable energy devices may produce some… side effects. For example, the slow decomposition of core materials, or potential biological effects on the human body."
"Tony, I need an explanation."
Pepper's voice was cold and hard, her gaze fixed on the glowing object in Tony's chest.
"What exactly is that? Why do you have a glowing disc in your chest?"
Tony looked at William, then at Pepper, and finally let out a long sigh: "Alright, I was going to tell you sooner or later anyway. Pepper, this device is called an Arc Reactor. It's currently my pacemaker, and also my life support system."
"What?!"
Pepper's face instantly turned pale, devoid of all color, "A pacemaker? What's wrong with your heart?"
"In Afghanistan, I was injured by a missile produced by my own company. Shrapnel got stuck near my heart, which could kill me at any moment."
Tony's tone was understated, but William could see a fleeting shadow in the depths of his eyes.
"This device uses an electromagnetic field to prevent the shrapnel from moving further, and also provides me with energy."
Pepper covered her mouth with her hand, tears welling up in her eyes: "Oh my God, Tony… why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I didn't want you to worry."
Tony's lips curved into a bitter smile.
"Besides, this little gadget isn't just for saving my life; it has other uses."
"Mr. Stark, I recommend you immediately initiate the claims procedure."
William decisively interrupted them.
"From my professional perspective, your situation fully meets the claim conditions for the 'Arc Reactor Accidental Protection Insurance'."
Tony was taken aback, "I haven't even signed the insurance contract yet."
"I can initiate the emergency claims procedure for you first; the contract signing can be completed later."
William quickly pulled out his tablet and operated it with swift fingers.
"After all, this concerns your life safety; procedures and such can be handled flexibly."
"Ding! Customer requests emergency claims activation. Execute immediately?"
William silently repeated with all his might in his mind.
"Execute!"
