(KRYSTAL'S POV)
Time moves too fast.
It's like one second I'm lying in bed staring at the ceiling, replaying every single thing that happened with Valentino over and over again in my head, then I blink and the next second, two days have gone by and I'm already at the airport at 6 a.m. in the morning.
It doesn't even feel real.
The car door opens and I step out with Raffaele and Angelo right behind me.
My eyes drift around the private tarmac, taking everything in.
Rows of black cars line the space. Dozens of soldiers stand around, some talking quietly, others moving to unload luggage from the trunks. A few private jets sit waiting in the distance, their engines humming low as they wait for us to leave.
There are so many people. So much movement.
And yet everything feels strangely distant like I'm watching it all from outside my own body.
I'm actually doing this.
I'm actually leaving the United States, my home, to go stay with the Vipera family in Italy.
