Yubel the Extremely Sad Demon Dragon, descend!
As the card was summoned, pitch-black lightning streaked across the sky. Thunder roared, and the Thunder Dragon rumbled under the rain, as if expressing a piercing cry.
A horrific and colossal Demon Dragon slowly appeared on the field. The dragon's head gently swayed, while Yubel's torso was already partially merged within the dragon's body, as though becoming one with its form.
When she spoke again, the voice shifted predominantly to a deep, husky tone, with the feminine tone fading away, as if constantly on the verge of disappearing.
"No one understands, no one cares, only endless, void darkness remains! This is what I've ultimately become, Ju↑dai↓!"
Judai sighed lightly and said, "You've truly suffered these past years, Yubel. But, the lonely and sorrowful journey ends today... I promise."
Judai inserted a card into the Duel Disc.
"Activate the Magic Card 'Stupid Burial,' send any Monster Card from the deck to the graveyard. I'll send 'Elemental HERO Neos,' just returned to the deck by Contact Fusion, from the deck to the graveyard again."
Yubel retorted angrily, "Neos, again Neos? Just how attached are you to that monster? I was here first..."
Then Judai slowly drew a card from his hand and raised it above his head. The card seemed to connect with the Power of New Space, suddenly bursting with seven-colored rainbow light.
"I activate the Magic Card 'Miracle Contact'!"
Judai said.
"Fusion materials required for Neo Fusion Monsters can be returned from the field, graveyard to the deck to perform a Fusion Summon!"
Yubel: "Contact from the graveyard!?"
"Exactly." Judai said, "I return 'Elemental HERO Neos' on the field, 'New Space Hero: Dark Panther' in the graveyard, and 'New Space Hero: Radiant Moss' initially sent to the graveyard by 'Transformation Contact,' three monsters back to the deck!
Triple Contact Fusion!"
Neos spread his arms, and golden light erupted from the blue crystal on his chest, quickly enveloping his body, bathing Neos entirely in the golden glow.
Dark Panther and Radiant Moss transformed into two beams of light on either side, merging onto Neos. The three forces combined into one, and Neos's body rapidly grew taller amidst the radiance. Sacred stripes were engraved upon him, transforming his form into a dark body, with a cape billowing behind.
"Power of Chaos, transform darkness into light -

Judai raised his right fist to the sky, as the newly transformed Chaos Neos descended amid chaotic storms!

Chaos Neos, compared to the differences between the physical card and animation, was perhaps the Neo Fusion Monster with the largest gap. The physical card Chaos Neos required three coin tosses to gain different effects based on the number of heads.
One head result: all your monsters bounce back to your hand, purely negative effect.
Two heads result: all opponent's monster effects on the field are negated.
Three heads result: all monsters on the opponent's field are destroyed.
However, the animation effect wasn't nearly as complicated, with no mention of coin tosses. Clear and straightforward, with just one effect.
"Elemental HERO Chaos Neos's effect!" Judai said, "All face-up monsters on the opponent's field will have their effects negated for this turn!"
Yubel: "What!?"
Once again, restrictive abilities!
Yubel's final form not only inherits previous effects, such as immunity to battle destruction and damage reflection, but can also send monsters battled with to the graveyard.
But if all these effects are negated, the supposed final form is merely a Twelve-Star blank slate.
"Next, activate the Field Magic 'New Universe Space'!"
Judai's field card was inserted into the side-wing of the Duel Disc, spreading a Light Domain of dazzling auroras across the field. Invisible powers seemed to continuously charge Chaos Neos from surrounding space, adding a golden edge to Neos once again, enhancing his strength further.
"New Universe Space raises the attack power of Neos or Neo Fusion Monsters by 500!"

"Battle time." Judai shouted, "With this hit, I'll shatter all your darkness and loneliness!
Chaos Neos, attack 'Yubel the Extremely Sad Demon Dragon'!"
Within the rippling auroras of New Universe Space, Chaos Neos ascended, with Power of Light and Dark gathering in his palms like a swirling storm. The energy storm transformed into a chaotic light sphere, hurled with one strike by Neos, with unstoppable force aiming at the Demon Dragon.
"Come, Yubel." Judai's expression softened, reaching out to her, "It's already over, the lonely journey has ended. There's already... no need to continue fighting."
Yubel was taken aback, her eyes wavering. As the chaotic light bullet approached, she seemed to glimpse the Prince from her past life in the brilliance, the youth she swore to protect at all costs, running towards her with a radiant smile.
"Judai..."
Yubel instinctively extended her hand to embrace.
But in that instant, sudden excruciating pain surged within her, as all the suffering and torment endured over the years seemed amplified countless times, rushing to her heart. The immense darkness erupted from deep within, making it nearly impossible for her to maintain sanity, ultimately transforming into an impulse for destruction.
"Ahhhhh—"

The strike from Chaos Neos fell. The Demon Dragon's body was pierced through, leaving a chilling void. Following that, the body of the Demon Dragon began to fragment from the void, cracks proliferating across the whole body within mere seconds until the dragon disintegrated like a broken sculpture, scattering all over.
The blast's momentum forced Judai on the opposite side to raise his arm to shield himself, while flames and smoke nearly swallowed Yubel's field.
Yet Chaos Neos's successful strike did not relax vigilance, as it landed back on Judai's field, reminding in a deep voice: "Beware Judai, she hasn't lost... moreover, her aura is becoming more dangerous."
Judai: "Yubel..."
The smoke gradually cleared, the Extremely Sad Demon Dragon shattered in the chaotic vortex. Yubel reverted to her initial form of the first phase, returned from the dragon to the duelist's position.
Yet her gaze appeared colder than at the beginning.
Though the three stages of the Demon Dragon had departed from her field, it was replaced with three eerie flowers, like carnivorous plants from the Demon Realm.
"Too late, Judai. It's already too late."
Yubel said bleakly.
"At the moment of battle, I activated the Trap Card 'Demon Realm Impatiens Seed.'
Upon receiving battle damage, for each thousand points, I can negate that damage and Special Summon a 'Demon Realm Impatiens Derivative' to the field."
