Inside Leng Meixuan's room.
Ning Ruomo stood facing the window and looking at nothing. While, Leng Meixuan sat on the bed behind her looking at her aunt
"Auntie, are we really going to watch this happen?" Leng Meixuan asked
"Impossible. I would never let that social ladder climber be one of us. I am so sure she has orchestrated everything everything from the very beginning" Ning Ruomo said as she folded her fist into a tight ball
"So? Brother Xuanmo has already fallen into her trap" Meixuan said. "Auntie. We need to do something. We need to save Grandma, Leng Yumo and brother Xuanmo" Leng Meixuan said
"We need a solid plan. A solid plan to ruin her and all her acts. A very big solid one" Ning Ruomo said

"Come in" Leng Meixuan said. The door opened, Leng Yumo head peaked in
"Mom, Meixuan" Yumo called as she walked in
"Is there a problem?" Leng Meixuan asked
"No. It's just that dinner is ready and grandma wants the both of you seated at the table"
"I am not going to seat at the table as long as it's that girl that cooked the foods" Ning Ruomo said
"Am also not going to be seated there" Leng Meixuan said
"Alright. Since the both of you said you aren't going to be seated there. Well why don't you both die of hunger?" Leng Yumo said making Ning Ruomo faced her glaring hard at her
"Well apparently you would die of hunger. Grandma hates take out in the house. And, only designated people can enter the kitchen" Leng Yumo said
"What did you mean?" Leng Meixuan asked
"Eiya, Meixuan. Are you really daft. Either way you would die of hunger" Leng Yumo said as she walked towards the door
"The ball is in your court. Play it well" she said then leave the room.
The women looked at each other and they realized Leng Yumo was right either way they'd die of hunger if this continues and both can't enter the kitchen
"Auntie" Leng Meixuan called
"Let's go" Ning Ruomo said. As Leng Meixuan gets up from the bed she suddenly thought of something
"Auntie, I have an idea" Leng Meixuan said
"What idea?" Ning Ruomo asked her niece as the latter smiled at the idea she's cooking up In her head.
"You didn't bother to wait for us" Ning Ruomo voice rang out as she saw the settings of the table
"We thought you aren't eating" Madam Leng said
"Mother. Don't you think I should at least try the cooking of my daughter in law?" Ning Ruomo asked
"Daughter in law?" Leng Yumo asked "mom. When you were coming downstairs did you hit your head on something?"
"Shut up" Ning Ruomo said
"Oh. So you are here to try the cooking of your daughter in law, not because you didn't want to die of hunger?" Madam Leng asked
"What of you Leng Meixuan?" Madam Leng asked
"I just want to see the cooking of the oh great Lu Jingyan" she said
"See? You've seen it already. Get going" Madam Leng said as Leng Yumo burst into laughter
"Am here already. Why not give it a try?" Leng Meixuan said
"Oh" was all madam Leng could say as they all digged in to eat the food Lu Jingyan made
"Sister in law. This food you made is awesome" Leng Yumo said
*Compliment it all you want Yumo. Very soon you'd hate the food she makes* Leng Meixuan said as she took a bite of the food. But she couldn't lie the food taste nice
