On the same day, at Tokyo Jujutsu High:
It was still early morning of the first day of this term at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
First years were done with the introduction of the facilities and a tour of the campus, and were somewhat acquainted with each other as well.
One of those first-year students at Tokyo Jujutsu High was Maki Zenin, the older twin of Mai Zenin, who was enrolled at Kyoto Jujutsu High. Though jealous of her twin, in the end, Maki decided not to stress about this anymore. Her final plan of gaslighting Satoru Gojo to destroy the Tokyo branch failed, and for the time being, she didn't have any other great ideas that could help her with her troubles.
Currently, she was returning from her morning training. It was a routine that she had been following for quite some time, and just because she was going to attend a Jujutsu School didn't mean she was gonna slack off here.
Once she returned to her dorm, she freshened up and got ready to go to the cafeteria for breakfast before school started.
"Yo, Maki Here."
"Tuna."
Hearing familiar voices, Maki looked towards her fellow first years.
Toge Inumaki, a member of the Inumaki clan and a Grade 2 sorcerer.
Panda, despite his name and appearance, is not an actual panda. He is a cursed corpse, though a mutated one that can sustain on its own and has its own thought process. Because of those reasons, he, too, was treated as a sorcerer, a Semi-Grade 2 sorcerer.
With Maki, a Grade 2 sorcerer as well, the three of them were the first years.
Despite the uniqueness of both her classmates, Maki felt that these two were not that bad to get along with. Considering the treatment she receives from the majority of the clansmen, the boy and the panda were a pleasant surprise.
"Maki~ Come here and join us~"
The only thing that was hurting her like a sore spot was the white-haired eye-masked freak of her teacher, Satoru Gojo, who, for some reason, joined Panda and Toge for breakfast as well.
"Act your damn age, Satoru," said Maki as she placed her tray on the table.
"Age is just a number; you don't have to be a particular age to act a certain way. Also, a bad student! I am your teacher! Is that how you speak to your teachers?! Repent!" said Satoru and Karate chopped Maki.
"Agh!" winced Maki and glared at Satoru, who stole an egg from Maki's plate.
"What kind of teacher steals their student's meal?" asked Maki.
"No teacher does that," said Satoru seriously and then struck a pose and gave a charming smile.
"With the sole exception of Satoru Gojo, of course," added Satoru and stole something from everyone's plates.
Maki, Toge, and Panda looked at their shameless teacher and didn't know what to say.
Satoru moved his chopsticks to steal some more food, but the students immediately pulled their trays away from Satoru.
"Cheapskates," whined Satoru and finally started eating from his plate once again.
Once they finished their breakfast, Satoru took his leave. He was free until the 2nd half and was planning to go to Kyoto to check on Naoya, who just started his teacher gig.
Maki and the other two went to their classrooms to attend their normal classes. Jujutsu classes were after lunch, so till then, they needed to stay focused on normal studies.

Later, in the afternoon, the students were gathered in the training grounds of the Tokyo Jujutsu High.
"Alright, you two, these three are your juniors, get along with them, alright?" said Satoru as he looked at a pair of boys.
"Hello, I am Kirara Hoshi, a 2nd year. Take care of me," said one of the seniors as he waved his hand.
The other 2nd year looked at the three juniors, as if appraising them. Ultimately, he gave a tired sigh and looked down. He couldn't sense what he was looking for from the three juniors in front of him.
"Kin-chan! You should introduce yourself, too," said Kirara.
"Huh? No need, I don't think I would be interacting much with them anyway. They don't seem to have the 'fever' anyway," said the 2nd year in a bored tone.
"*Sigh*Don't mind his behaviour. He is Kinji Hakari, a 2nd year, just like me. He might seem like the broody type, but he is a very reliable man. If you ever get in trouble, feel free to come to us," said Kirara.
"Got it, senpai. I am Panda," said Panda.
"No shit," replied Hakari and chuckled a bit.
"Tuna Mayo," said Toge.
Hakari blinked in confusion. What does that even mean?
"He is Toge Inumaki," introduced Panda.
"Maki Zenin. Nice to meet you," greeted Maki and gave a curt bow.
"Zenin? Like the 3 big clans?" asked Hakari.
"Yes," replied Maki.
"A bigshot, huh?" muttered Hakari.
"Kinji-kun, treat your juniors well!" said Satoru and karate chopped Hakari.
"Tch, yes, yes, I understand," said Hakari.
"Also, our Maki here is Naoya's sister, you know. Keep that in mind if you were ever to mess with her," said Satoru.
As soon as the information was revealed, Hakari's eyes shot wide open as he looked at Satoru, wondering if his teacher was serious or not.
Satoru simply smiled and gave a thumbs-up.
Still not wanting to believe, Hakari looked at Maki.
"You are Naoya-san's sister?" asked Hakari.
"Cousin, though we do treat each other like siblings. Why?" replied Maki and tilted her head in confusion.
Hakari's doubts were finally cleared, and his head immediately started working at full speed.
A moment later, an overly sweet smile appeared on his face.
"Let's get along," said Hakari.
Maki blinked in confusion. The change in attitude was too fast.
"Haha, still afraid of my Naoya, I see," said Satoru and ruffled Hakari's hair.
"Tch! I am scared of no one!" declared Hakari.
"Want to say that once I take Naoya on a call?" asked Satoru.
"..." Hakari decided to remain silent.
Hakari was not one to be afraid of most things, but Naoya Zenin was clearly a terrifying man.
Around a year ago, when Hakari was a 1st year student, he encountered Naoya...who caught him, a first-year high school student, drinking alcohol in broad daylight.
Now, Hakari wasn't one to give a rat's ass about rules and regulations, and because of that, he was used to being tangled up in scuffles against the 'good people' of the society. He was not afraid of those scuffles; instead, he quite enjoyed them as well. He was strong, and it felt really nice to beat the crap out of those good two shoes.
However, for the first time, Kinji Hakari met his match.
Naoya Zenin was a 'good man' who came to scold him for drinking.
Like always, Hakari dismissed the boring lecture and instead jumped straight to fighting. The man in front of him was a jujutsu sorcerer, and most sorcerers didn't listen to him until he landed a punch squarely in their faces. This time, too, it won't be any different.
Long story short, Hakari got his ass handed to him, quite brutally at that. He even tried to use his ultimate skill, but no matter how much he tried, he wasn't able to get the required result no matter how long he tried. His opponent was also not one to go easy on him since he saw that Hakari would not listen that easily.
It was only after Hakari was thoroughly beaten that he came to know that the man he had picked a fight with was Naoya Zenin, one of the Special Grade sorcerers.
Still, just that incident didn't make him wary of Naoya.
For unknown reasons, his luck didn't seem to work whenever Naoya was involved, and whenever Naoya visited Tokyo Jujutsu High, he seemed to catch Hakari involved in something unethical, and every time he would tell Hakari to stop, the man would disagree and would get into a fight with him, losing badly everytime at that.
For Naoya, who was raising multiple kids around Hakari's age, seeing a kid of the same age doing these sorts of things made him step up to correct their behaviour.
Because of this, there were constant clashes between Naoya and Hakari.
Hakari knew Naoya's intentions weren't bad, but at the same time, he wasn't going to let go of his ideals. Still, if possible, he didn't want to get beaten by Naoya. His hits were quite heavy.
Anyway, back to reality.
Satoru and Kirara were teasing Hakari, who was snapping at them.
The 1st years stood there. They were forgotten by their seniors and their teacher, and were wondering what to do now.
-----
A few months have passed by since Maki and Mai started High School:
Currently, in one of the meeting halls of the Jujutsu Division HQ, Satoru Gojo and Naoya Zenin were summoned by the higher-ups.
Naoya and Satoru stood straight as they heard what the higher-ups wanted to say.
Once they were done speaking, it was finally Satoru's and Naoya's turn to speak on the matter they were discussing.
"A complete cover-up and a secret execution?" muttered Satoru.
"...Just asking, but don't tell me you don't find it ridiculous at all?" asked Naoya.
"...The boy in question consented, though," said the higher-up.
"He's a kid. Most of them try to be edgy!" said Naoya.
"Not to mention. The curse that you mention is far too strong. We don't know how many people he will curse to death if he is killed like that. Three Grade 2 and a Grade 1 sorcerers were already killed just because they attempted to kill him. You truly want to see what happens if he actually dies?" asked Satoru.
"...Then what do you two suggest we should do with this anomaly?" asked the higher-ups in frustration.
Satoru and Naoya looked at each other.
"Yuta Okkotsu will join-" started Satoru
"Let us talk with Yuta Okkotsu first," interrupted Naoya as he put his hand over Satoru's mouth.
