The next afternoon, Naoya sat on the staircase in the training grounds staircase waiting for his students.

He didn't appear for the class yesterday because he was busy doing....well, Utahime after he proposed to her and she jumped on top of him. Clearly her fault. Zero self-control.

"Big Brother!" called Todo as he waved at Naoya.

Naoya looked at him and the other two second-years coming up behind him.

Naoya waved back at him in response and stood up.

"Big Brother, you didn't come yesterday. Was there some trouble?" asked Todo.

"Not trouble per se. I was a bit busy, though," replied Naoya.

Soon, the first years arrived as well.

Once everyone was gathered, Naoya asked them to stand in front of him.

"I have 2 pieces of information for you. They are important, so listen carefully."

"Firstly, next week will be a Goodwill event with our sister school from Tokyo. As they are the reigning champions, we will be going to Tokyo for the event. Anyone here who doesn't know what a Goodwill event is?"

Miwa and Mechamaru raised their hands.

"A goodwill event, in simple terms, is the tournament arc of your school years. It is an old tradition where Jujutsu sorcerers in training, such as yourselves, go head-to-head against your peers to gauge your level and showcase your prowess. Since it is a Jujutsu event, there will definitely be fights using your jujutsu, so prepare with that in mind. It will be a 2-day event, with the first day being a team match while the second day is one-on-one duels," explained Naoya.

As Naoya finished explaining, Todo applauded in admiration. His brother explained the whole thing extremely well.

Miwa and Mechamaru let the information sink in and gave a nod.

"Before we get ahead of ourselves, I will inform you this too that Goodwill events are usually for 2nd and 3rd year students. 4th-year students are usually not even allowed to participate, while the 1st years require permission from the participating 2nd and 3rd years to participate. So then what will it be, Aoi, Momo, Noritoshi? Are your juniors joining this year's goodwill event?" asked Naoya, and looked at the three of them.

The 1st years looked at their seniors.

"I don't care either way....but since big brother's asking me to choose, I will ask it straight. Are you guys ready to face off against other sorcerers in battle?" asked Todo.

"Is that even something that needs to be asked? Of course I am," said Mai.

"I-I am not sure if I will be of much help....BUT I WILL TRY MY BEST NOT TO HOLD YOU ALL BACK!!!!" yelled Miwa.

Mechamaru looked at Miwa.

"...Guess I will join," said Mechamaru.

"...What is this lacklustre response?" asked Todo and looked at Miwa and Mechamaru.

"SAY IT WITH PASSION!!!! ARE YOU READY?!?!" asked Todo.

"I-I-I-I AM READY!!!" yelled Miwa.

"Yay. I am ready," said Mechamru in a monotonous voice.

Todo raised his fist. He was about to pummel this unenthusiastic robot.

"Stop it, Todo. Well, if they are willing, then who are we to stop them? We didn't get the opportunity to join the goodwill event in our first year, but let's give them a chance. What do you think, Nishimiya, Todo?" asked Noritoshi.

"I don't mind. Let's all have fun together!" declared Momo.

"...Well, it will be a great learning opportunity and a stage to showcase how my big brother has trained and nurtured his students....I AGREE!!!" declared Todo and gave a thumbs up.

Naoya looked at Todo....This kid was far too delusional and too much of a fanboy.

"It's a good thing that your general intelligence and battle IQ are sharp, Aoi," said Naoya and patted Todo.

"BIG BROTHER!!!!" yelled Todo in happiness. His brother praised him and patted him just like he used to when they were kids (A/N: Never happened.). Could there be anything more blissful than this?

"Yes, yes, calm down. Now then, since all of you are participating, I expect you all to sharpen your jujutsu as much as you all can until we leave for Tokyo. They have the home-field advantage, but that doesn't mean we are going there to lose," said Naoya and looked at everyone of them.

All of them stared back at their teacher and, with a determined resolve, gave a nod.

Naoya nodded back and smiled.

"Now then, onto the other news that I have. Listen to this one even more carefully," said Naoya with a super serious look.

All of them turned serious as well. What was this super serious news that their teacher had?

"I proposed to Utahime, and she said yes. In short. We are engaged now," said Naoya.

.

.

.

"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!" yelled TODO in shock.

"HUH!!!!!" yelled Mai in shock.

"EH? I-I...Congratulations?" said Miwa, though a bit unsure about her answer.

"Congrats, I guess," said Mechamaru.

"...Was that the super serious news? Well, still, I guess congratulations are in order," said Noritoshi.

"Woah! Nice going, sensei!" cheered Momo.

Naoya smiled at his student's reaction.

Todo and Mai were shocked by the sudden news of their brother's engagement.

Though the two soon had their gears turning.

"Congratulations, big brother!" declared Todo happily. The news might have come as a surprise, but there was no way he was not going to be happy for his loving and caring big brother. He will do the same for him after all.

Mai, on the other hand, started shaking Naoya vigorously.

"How? When? Where? Give me the juicy deets!!!! Congratulations, by the way," said Mai.

"Calm down," said Naoya.

"There's no way I am calming down. Wait a minute, let me tell Maki!" said Mai and immediately took out her phone and called Maki.

"Maki! Big news! Onii-chan got engaged!" informed Mai.

There was a momentary pause on Maki's end before she sounded out her surprise as well.

Mai put the phone on speaker.

"How? When? Where? Give me the details, Onii-chan! Oh, Congrats by the way," said Maki

'They really are twins,' thought Naoya and smiled at Mai.

"Don't trouble me. Anyway. Tonight we are going out to eat. My treat!" declared Naoya.

"WOAH!!!!!!" cheered the students, except for Mechamaru. He couldn't eat.

"Eh~ No fair! I want the treat too!" demanded Maki.

"Too bad. You are in Tokyo. Sucks to be you~" said Mai.

"Onii-chan! Mai's being mean!" complained Maki.

"...You aren't little children, you know. I will treat you when I come to Tokyo. Okay?" said Naoya.

"Deal....But Mai won't be invited on the treat day!" stated Maki.

"Yes, yes, understood."

"Eh~ Why? Onii-chan is doing favouritism. Unfair. Unfair," whined Mai.

Naoya looked at Mai.

Did they regress when they talked to him?

Todo looked at Mai and the phone and snorted.

'Ignorance is such bliss. They don't even know Big Brother's favourite is me and are competing with each other,' thought Todo and smirked in satisfaction and shook his head.

One week later:

Currently, on the train to Tokyo, the Kyoto students were playing cards while Naoya, Utahime, and Gakuganji were resting in silence.

Soon they arrived at Tokyo, and with their luggage walked out of the station.

As they came out, they noticed multiple taxis and people gathered there waiting to pick up others.

One such person was a hot and sexy white-haired man with black sunglasses.

All the women and even some men were looking intently at him; many were even blushing, and some of them were having nosebleeds.

The only thing that looked off about the man, though, was the sign he held.

It was a heart-shaped sign with the words "My bestest friend" written on it.

Needless to say, this man was Satoru Gojo, who had come to kidn- *cough**cough* pick up Naoya Zenin.

The Kyoto group, too, was looking at the weirdo.

Those who didn't know what the man was doing looked at him in confusion. Some were even weirded out by him.

Those who knew what he was doing, though, turned to look towards Naoya.

Satoru spotted Naoya and waved his hand enthusiastically.

Though that enthusiasm immediately vanished when Utahime clung onto Naoya and shot a smirk at Satoru.

Satoru stopped waving his hand. He did some calculations in his head and pointed his finger towards Utahime.

[Imaginary Technique-]

Before he could do anything further, though, Naoya ran up to him and iron-clawed him.

"What the hell are you doing here?!"

"Ow Ow Ow. I came to pick you up!" said Satoru and tried to free himself from Naoya's grip.

"You know I am not talking about that!" said Naoya. He knew Satoru was letting him pass through [Infinity], but that doesn't mean he could unleash such a powerful attack out in the open.

"Hm? What else did I do? I didn't do anything. Look at my innocent face. Do you think I will do anything bad?" said Satoru, and used CE reinforcement to free himself of Naoya's grip, and gave his most innocent look to Naoya.

Naoya wasn't buying that. He knew his self-proclaimed unfilial son better than anyone. He practically grew up with him.

Satoru didn't relent, though. He, too, grew up with Naoya and knew that his best friend had a soft spot for him.

And just like he predicted, Naoya let go of Satoru and stopped glaring at him.

Satoru immediately latched onto Naoya and stuck out his tongue towards Utahime.

"Mine!" declared Satoru and pulled Naoya away.

Before anyone could do anything. Satoru grabbed Naoya, pulled him towards a car, shoved him inside and ordered the driver, who was most likely from the Gojo family, to drive away.

"..."

The onlookers looked at the scene in confusion, and only when the car was out of sight did they realise what had just happened.

"Naoya!!!!" yelled Utahime in panic.

"Big Brother!!!!" yelled Todo in an equal level of panic.

Mai and Gakuganji facepalmed at Satoru's action.

For better or worse, they kind of expected Satoru to cause some trouble.

The rest of the students didn't know what had just happened and what they should do. A special grade sorcerer kidnapped another special grade sorcerer in broad daylight, and the kidnapped special grade didn't even resist.

The entire flow of things left them quite confused.
