Chapter 105 - Chapter 105 Absolute Strength

"The Kingdom of Midgar is not a place for you to act as you please!"

Alice swung her sword and charged forward. Her first attack was dodged by Shadow. Alice planned to release her weapon and embrace Shadow with her second attack.

However, it seemed she wouldn't get the chance to execute that plan.

The moment her first attack was dodged, Shadow reached out and grabbed Alice's collar.

He lifted Alice with one hand, magic power gathering in Shadow's hand. He slammed Alice heavily onto the ground.

The terrifying magic power directly created a large crater in the ground.

At this moment, Beatrix, the War God, launched an attack with extreme speed.

White magic power emerged around her.

Her speed increased by more than threefold.

This even astonished Shadow, but only for a moment.

Shadow swung a crowbar, hooking Beatrix's sword, and then slammed the other crowbar towards Beatrix's sword-wielding hand.

Alexia directly dropped her sword and charged into Shadow.

She wasn't good with her left-handed sword, and Shadow was too fast; she probably wouldn't hit him. Such an action would be better used to contribute to the team.

Princess Rose was also very anxious at this moment. It was their first time cooperating, and she couldn't help now that Alexia and Beatrix, the War God, had already gone in.

If she went in, she might accidentally injure them, and it would also affect her own performance.

Shadow noticed Alexia's actions at this moment.

He twisted the crowbar and slammed it hard into Alexia's left hand.

Alexia endured the pain and crashed into Shadow with her shoulder.

The crowbar confronting Beatrice suddenly exerted force, directly repelling Beatrice.

Shadow grabbed Alexia's left hand and twisted it.

A heart-wrenching pain surged, but Alexia still gritted her teeth and charged forward.

Princess Alice lunged forward, trying to hug Shadow's waist and restrict his movements.

"Too naive!"

Shadow raised his leg and delivered a knee strike directly to Alice's chin.

The pain made Alice lose all strength.

"Both sisters are fighting like they have a death wish!" Shadow thought to himself.

"By the way, why did Sino tell me to hit Alexia's intact arm so hard?"

"Forget it, I don't care!"

Because of Alice's interference,

Alexia successfully crashed into Shadow.

Shadow briefly lost his balance.

Beatrice swung her sword, slashing towards Shadow's front.

Princess Rose appeared behind Shadow.

Milia appeared above Shadow.

Both Kings watched this scene unfold.

The three successfully attacked Shadow.

However, Shadow's hands hung naturally, without any resistance. He allowed the three attacks to land on him.

"Hahahahahaha!"

"I'll admit you have some skill!"

Terrifying, tangible magic power erupted from Shadow, directly sending all five people flying.

The audience seats were mostly empty by now, with only the Crimson Knight Order remaining.

The members of the Crimson Knight Order were also knocked to the ground by this magic power.

Only Claire steadily shielded Sino.

And Sino's umbrella was completely unharmed, still sheltering Claire from the rain.

Claire did not notice this detail.

"Then I'll get a little serious!" Shadow said, flying in the air and looking down at everyone.

Lightning flashed, and electricity continuously raged around Shadow.

But it just couldn't strike him.

Shadow looked down like a Demon King upon the five heroes.

Alexia tried to stand up, but her hand had no strength. She looked at her left hand; it was clearly there, but she couldn't make it move.

Alexia tried many times, but her left hand showed no response at all.

Her left hand was crippled.

Seeing that Alexia still refused to change her stubborn habit, Sino secretly informed Shadow to cripple Alexia's left hand.

The Order was not made up of benevolent men and women; Alexia would definitely clash with The Order in the future.

Her stubbornness had to be changed.

If time couldn't change her, then let her completely lose her arm.

As long as Alice wasn't involved with the country and her father, she generally wouldn't go crazy and would consider the bigger picture in her actions.

But Alexia was different; she had too little exposure to darkness. Stubbornness couldn't solve anything; it would only make things worse.

The title of Princess was not actually that noble.

Born fearless—this phrase suited Alexia well.

Growth is a process of trial and error, again and again.

But some mistakes require the cost of life.

Sino still had feelings for Alexia.

That's why he had Shadow do that.

Of the five people, except for Milia, the remaining four fell to the ground in disarray when they were sent flying. Only Milia landed safely.

The other three stood up, but Alexia couldn't.

As Sino's maid, Milia was the one who had been taught by Sino for the longest time.

She was also the Demon Possession who had been captured by The Order and lived the longest.

Her talent, willpower, patience, determination, and endurance were all extremely strong.

In Shadow Garden, her strength was second only to the Seven Shadows.

Her strength had completely surpassed that of a lower-ranked Knight of the Round Table.

"What is your name! Your strength is quite interesting!" Shadow said to Milia.

"Milia!"

"Then let me see where your limits are!"

Shadow suddenly flew towards the ground.

Milia reached out and pulled Alexia away.

All five dodged.

An explosion occurred at their previous location.

A gust of wind swept through, dispersing the smoke.

Shadow walked out of the smoke.

The next second, he appeared behind Milia and slashed with his sword.

Milia, however, swung her sword forward.

"Clang!"

The sound of clashing blades rang out.

It was then that everyone realized Shadow had appeared in front of Milia.

"Very quick reaction!"

Beatrix, the War God, launched another attack.

But Shadow didn't even look.

He simply casually clamped down on Beatrix, the War God's sword.

"Terrifyingly powerful! Is this Shadow?"

King Klaus of Midgar spoke.

"I wonder if he can withstand the darkness lurking in the world!"

King Gluck of Oriana said.

Gluck was not very worried about Princess Rose.

After all, he had already defected to Shadow Garden.

From the battle results, only Princess Alexia was severely injured.

The others were mostly fine.

King Klaus of Midgar really wanted to tell Alice and Alexia to just run away, but as a King, he couldn't do that.

A King who chooses to flee in the face of a powerful enemy would not receive everyone's support.

It would even disappoint everyone.

A King must always be revered to be worthy of the title of King.

Once virtue does not match the position, the country could riot at any time.

King Klaus of Midgar did not receive the support of The Order; in fact, his relationship with The Order was not good.

Such a King's every choice was like treading on thin ice.

A slight misstep could lead to eternal damnation.
