As if nothing happened in the first place, Mister Sun went back to handing out gifts. That night, the group slept in numerous places. Some had slept in bedrooms; there was a homeless man who had slept in a bathtub. The youngest had slept in a library as he researched the Hirohito Association Building and formed a plan on what to do when they got in there.
"Oh boys! Breakfast is ready."
Miss Moon had found herself making lots of food for the men. To their surprise, it was horrible. The only thing worth eating was the blood sausage. When they finished up eating all the blood sausage, they had gone and made themselves some of the other food.
"Just look happy."
The oldest was a picky eater. He had done a few things he wanted before Mister Sun arrived. He was tired.
"Hello boys."
"Hello."
"Today, you'll be testing your abilities on each other. I assume you'll come up with a plan soon."
"Right."
The men and boys went out to the courtyard that was the center of the skyscraper. The first bit of it wasn't even fighting, it was a conversation between the blindfold man and the homeless man.
"What's going on with you?"
"This briefcase they gave me, it's so heavy that I can barely lift it."
"Have you tried opening it?"
"I can't, it's locked. Every time I try to speak with starshine in there he brushes me off."
The blindfolded man was calm. He wasn't joyous or confident. After some time, he had come to a conclusion to help out the dear old homeless man. He was only thirty or so, that homeless man. He missed his son.
"Maybe he's trying to make you stronger."
"Huh?"
"If you can barely hold and it won't open, maybe he wants you to grow stronger by holding it all the time."
