Chapter 266 - Chapter 239: Start Praying to God

"Hydra Captain?"

Hawk glanced up towards the direction of Dr. Merick's voice, "So, you're collaborating with both God and Hydra?"

Dr. Merick chuckled, "I know what you're trying to say, Mr. Phoenix. You think Hydra is evil, but God doesn't think so. My cooperation with Hydra has God's approval."

Hawk raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, what did God tell you?"

"God said Earth has been taken over by demons and needs to evolve. He forgives Hydra's past mistakes."

"Really?"

"Absolutely."

"Once again, you better pray that your God shows up by the time I reach you."

"You should first pray you can defeat our Hydra Captain."

"Heh."

Hawk sneered, looking at the clone in front of him that Dr. Merick called the Hydra Captain.

"You mean this? This is what you've been tinkering with for months, thinking it could defeat me, just like that, a counterfeit."

"Kill you, and the Hydra Captain becomes the real deal."

"Really, I don't believe it."

"Show Mr. Phoenix your strength, Hydra Captain."

"Buzz!"

As Dr. Merick finished speaking, the vibranium energy at the chest of the clone, dubbed Hydra, in Iron Battle Armor began to ripple.

The moment Hydra Captain bent his knees, the metal floor beneath him cracked open, and his entire body shot towards Hawk like an exploded rocket.

Seeing this, Hawk raised his right hand.

Clang!

With a contraction of Sixth Sense Telekinesis, the Hydra Captain was instantly frozen in mid-air.

With a slight wave of Hawk's right hand, in an instant, the frozen Hydra Captain was hurled backward like a cannonball, crashing into a metal-coated wall with a bang.

The next second.

Hawk clenched his right hand again.

Before the Hydra Captain, still pinned to the metal wall, could fall, he was yanked to Hawk like a kite pulled by a string.

Hawk chuckled.

He looked up at the source of Dr. Merick's previous voice, "Once again, what did you just say?"

The technicians in the command center were wide-eyed at the screen, looking at Dr. Merick.

"This is impossible, Doctor."

"The Hydra Captain's strength matches sixty-five percent of the comparison data."

"And he has Iron Battle Armor."

"Comparatively, our Hydra Captain, with the Iron Battle Armor, should match the data's Hawk without Holy Armor."

"But..."

"This can't be!"

Dr. Merick looked at the screen, where he had placed high hopes on the clone model 7 to at least give Hawk a challenge. Yet now, it was subdued without landing a single hit.

Hawk looked at the floating figure before him, staring into those familiar yet unfamiliar eyes behind the faceplate, and chuckled softly.

The next second.

Boom!

In Dr. Merick's shocked gaze, the Hydra Captain and his associated Iron Battle Armor turned into white smoke, vaporizing on the spot.

"Do you have any other tricks up your sleeve, Dr. Merick?"

"If you do, I'll give you a chance to use them."

"After all, I've given you over half a year to come up with something impressive."

"But if your only trick was that garbage we just saw..."

"Once again."

"Now you can pray to God, let him come to save you."

After vaporizing the clone before him, Hawk casually put his right hand back in his pocket, looking up at Dr. Merick with a calm suggestion.

"This is impossible!"

Dr. Merick shrieked, "The data doesn't lie; without your Holy Armor, you could never defeat my Hydra Captain."

Hawk sneered, listening to Dr. Merick's defensively high voice, realizing something.

He's out of options, or rather, his last resort was the Hydra Captain, whom Hawk had just annihilated with a snap.

Data?

What nonsense.

Clearly.

Dr. Merick compared his clone's power with physical strength.

But...

His strength doesn't come from Holy Armor or physical prowess but from Little Cosmos.

The stronger the Little Cosmos, the stronger he becomes.

So...

Hawk couldn't be bothered to respond to the panicking Dr. Merick, a mocking smile on his lips, "You can start praying to God now, Dr. Merick. I'll give you time to pray, but you'd better hurry, because I'm on a tight schedule."

With that.

Hawk's figure vanished instantly.

The next second.

Dr. Merick and the Hydra Agents in the command center saw on the screen that Hawk had moved from the clone resting area to the Iron Battle Armor development area in the blink of an eye. The agents there vaporized on the spot before Hawk teleported to another area.

A slaughter spreading through the secret base without any bloodshed.

The command center watched Hawk clearing out area after area, quickly approaching their location, rendered utterly silent.

A Hydra Agent at the back discreetly took out his phone, typed a message, and while the others focused on the screen, he quietly opened the door and slipped out.

Until—

The door naturally closed with a bang, waking the Hydra Agents.

The next second.

All the Hydra Agents, snapping out of their broken dreams, rushed towards the door.

Whether God would save them, they didn't know, but they knew one thing.

If they didn't run now, they'd be reduced to nothing when the Demon King arrived.

But...

Too late!
