The *Kagemusha* beside Gongenzaka formed a hand seal, and a mysterious Magic Circle appeared out of thin air. A heavily armored warrior slowly emerged from the Magic Circle, guarding Gongenzaka's D-Wheel.

Accompanied by a distant, ancient Japanese melody, at the end of a dazzling starlight formation, an Ogre God clad in red armor and wielding a ferocious spiked club roared onto the Field.

*Shutendoji* roared and swung its spiked club, stirring up gusts of Gale that swept towards Kaito's Backrow.
Just then, Kaito tilted his D-Wheel, reaching down to pick up a Card from the ground. Simultaneously, a Card was Revealed.
"Continuous Trap, *Xyz Punishment* Activates! Next, using its Effect, Once per turn, if an Xyz Monster exists on my Field, when a Level 5 or Higher Effect Monster's Effect Activates, I can Discard 1 Card from my Hand to Negate that Effect and Destroy it."
Kaito threw the picked-up Action Card into the Graveyard without looking at it. Thunder immediately shot forth from the Trap Card, shattering the Gale stirred up by *Shutendoji* before striking *Shutendoji*.
Gongenzaka was momentarily stunned by this sight, then couldn't help but ask, "Do all of you from the XYZ Dimension usually use Action Cards like this?"
It was understandable for him to ask; among all the people he had encountered from the XYZ Dimension, they would pick up plenty of Cards during a Battle, but the number of times they actually used them was minuscule.
Kaito inexplicably smiled at Gongenzaka's question. "You should know that we are from a Battlefield, right? While Action Cards are powerful, a Battlefield cannot accommodate their randomness. So, compared to random Action Cards, I trust my own Deck more."
"I see." Gongenzaka nodded.
*Shutendoji* being Destroyed was not particularly difficult for Gongenzaka to accept. After all, his purpose in Summoning that Monster was for Backrow Removal, and at least it forced Kaito to use one Set Card.

From a Light Pillar behind Gongenzaka, a warrior in armor swung a halberd, and a beam of Light fell upon the Monster on the Field.

The Synchro Starlight formation rose again, and a jet-black Machine-Type Ninja appeared on the Battlefield.
