Floria was no where near to the idea of trusting people, not even the close as they are the only ones who stab you with a dagger.
According to the humans Floria was of twenty years old woman running her dad's library but only if one knew what she was the earthlings would have burned her calling threat for people and the first one to extend the fire would be humans while the vampires would sit in the corner filling humans with hate words for outcast who possibly could take them down they would do by handing the humans the job of dealing the outcast , enjoying satisfaction of no one being higher than them in the food chain as there were already the hybrids which were even more stronger than that of any pureblooded vampire or a witch while human are not even taken to the list . There was nothing wrong its always have been either kill or die .
Floria was a hybrids too who was supposed to be living in the fairy lands that was only if she hadn't had the meren's blood crushing through her veins. A meren was a hybride male offspring of a merman and siren while the female hybrids were called merean. Being a hybrid had it's own pros and cons like with lots of ability it came with weakness of not being able to find a compatible half . Every hybrids had their own terms which if didn't compelled to shortens their spam . Which was why only the rare ones survived which she was one .
Floria intentionally offered the fair woman a drink which she delightedly took . While giving the glass when their hands touched she looked into the eyes of the vampires invading her internal thoughts'she doesn't remember me ', Floria saw a little girl with a stuffed rabbit in her hand talking to her ' you will come again soon right?' While she saw her younger self saying 'yes Sal mama said that one we are done keeping things in the boxes' memories started flashing through in her head she could hear the laughter on the little girls resonate in her head .
Tears filled in her eyes at felling the stark sadness coming from the vampiress with the specks of longing in it "Sal" though she unconsciously whispered the women being pure blood vampire heard it crystal clear. Her head snapped at Floria observing the tears in her eyes she could only hope that her friend would recognize her , those years spent together she missed her too much . Salvia remember every walking upto the her home which she had left without any note or a goodbye. She was often scolded by her mom for wandering on the street without informing her until she was 16she understood that Flor would never come back . They used to be friends since childhood for good some years where she was slightly older due to the vampire aging as compared to the human one . She knew that human child often forgot things occurred or they did in childhood but Salvia being vampire more to that a pureblooded one she had quite good memory compared to the normal vampires she hesitantly muttered " Do you.....do you remember me Flor?"
Even though Floria was not to trust anyone but sensing vampiress hurt and the fondness toward her to be searching for her these years. It wasn't that Floria forgot about her childhood friend but due the Montanores being passed the Dukes position they reluctantly had to cut off their ties with them shifting from there. She knew why those memories were covered and even more who did it . According to Salvia Floria was a human who was of age four when they met but to the reality her age had stoped when she was of five for three years before stopping sixteen year now to be humanly twenty for others. Her age was also the the reason that her family had to move from places shifting .
Floria was never a person who involved with someone but that didn't meant she didn't cared about their feelings. " Sal....I am sorry.... I " Floria didn't knew what to say that would fill the loneliness that vampiress felt but the vampiress shocked her by pulling her into an hug . " Its okay Flor I'm not angry but why did you left me even without saying a goodbye " pulling out of the hug before Floria could say something a tall burnette haired well dressed man holding blood wine in his hands appeared in front of them he had stark shiny red eyes indicating the mark of pureblood , more red the eye stronger the vampire. He had an polite smile on his face could charm anyone but Floria sensed the ominous . "Good evening lady Salvia " Floria noticed how the man didn't honey covered his words as the stiff shoulders didn't went unoted as well " good evening Mr. Davies good meeting you here" the voice of the vampires sounded distant and stern . " oh how could I not when Mr. Hetlore insisted and also had to discuss about the finance dispute from some of our dear fellow ministries " said the man in an nonchalant voice.
Warren Davies whose eyes fell on the fair women with blond hairs but it was not what caught his attention it was her eyes they were beautiful as crystal which one would want to possess. She had an innocent face who looked like a lamb in the cluster of the wolves who would swallow her within no time
"Good evening Miss...." Floria heard the man ask her , feeling his stern graze which holder slight suspicion when looking at her . She wondered if it was alright to reveal her name given that the man seemed to be closely related to the palace "Chamber.." their heads turned on the sudden interruption "that's Miss. Chamber Mr. Davies " the vampiress said hastily . Unconvinced the vampire raised his brow at Floria "I think the lady has her voice given how she was taking to you "
Salvia sealed her lips . She wanted to keep her friends away from such ruthless person whose nobody wanted to be at bad side. Even when the man was only an Erals son he was an close friend of the kings younger brother. The man named Warren Davies was known for his ruthless ways of working which Salvia had seen herself .
"I heard that Mr. Miller has been looking for you lady Salvia. It won't be quite well to keep your suitor waiting right?" Slavia didn't knew why this man wanted to shoo her from here but this not nothing good for her human friend . She reluctantly moved from their not before giving Floria a little tight hug as if to alert her saying "take care , we will meet again. Won't we?" Floria felt her heart ache at the word of the vampiress she said "you too, we will meet again Sal I promise " the vampiress left from there leaving her and the vampire alone .
"Miss Melinda feels like I have seen you somewhere perhaps have we meet somewhere" Hope he won't have seen me in any motels or inns or maybe he was just finding some amusement , most vampires were same they weren't had to categorize thought Floria "pardon me but I don't think we have met before " said Floria driving the conversation right away would rather bring suspicion "there's nothing to apologize Miss. Camber it was my bad " The man offered her a glass of water which took without hesitation. "You didn't seemed to be fond of the wine so thought to offer you some water" she could sense the high radiation of suspicion from the vampire. As their hands slightly touched while taking the glass an image of the vampire slipping something in the glass which absolutely went unoted by her . "Thank you for the kindness " she replied with a polite smile taking a few sips of water . When nothing happened she saw the mans posture slightly relax "you seems to be close friends with lady Salvia " her asked her wanting to know more about her "we used to be friends with each other " whith that stood series of questions
"So do mean you aren't friends anymore , now it doesn't seems so Miss. Saipon correct me if I'm wrong " Floria's heart skipped a bit yet she replied keeping her calm "please pardon me Mr.Davies I didn't mean to lie ..."
She heard the man laugh waving his hands "ohh please I can understand people often like to stay clear of the royals especially the humans their no need for it "
"I'm Warren Davies left hand of second prince" the vampire enlightened her "Lady Salvia probably still holds the grudge against for what happened back then" lending the little curiosity Floria asked looking at him patiently "what happened for the lady to hold graude against you?".
Warren looked at the curious little rabbit look at him with its doe eyes he chuckled at her cuteness "I killed one of her suitors in the assembly " Warren looked her shoulder stiff, he explained to keep her from fearing him
"The man was an spy , we found some notes and solution which could harm humans as well as the vampire . Whosoever did it seemed to hold the deep hate ." Floria nodded her head " is it true that their was some dispute between Zarafeth and the Mornareth kingdom so people are suspecting more upon them" There were five kingdoms Zarafeth was ruled by the vampire king in south , Mornareth was ruled by the Witch king in west ,Skarnhold was ruled by the human king middle west , Ryukaze was ruled by the dragon king in east while Prisatelis was ruled by the Demons in the middle east . Giving Floria a thought look at her question Warren replied "hum it true but not entirely as we haven't found solid proofs to hold the accusation against anyone. But nothing can be told have you heard about the say closes one's are the one who stab you the first" Floria upon hearing questioned "so do you say that someone from our own kingdom wants to harm the king but isn't the treaty placed between the kingdoms to prevent from the huge disputes like in past" Warren intrigued by the knowledge and the interest human showed where most of the womens even the vampiresses spends time findingvthemselves suitors he replied" Its indeed true that the treaty is placed but sometimes that doesn't prevents the greed from ruffling someone thoughts"
Floria didn't realised that they have been talking from a long time until she felt people giving them looks . She could sense the strong emotions like hate , disagreement, disgust ,envy and many more . She turned towards the man displaying a polite smile she said " thank you for the company it was wonderful time I had but I think its rather late my parents must be waiting " she saw Warren nodded "indeed it was wonderful time . For a commener you look rather knowledgeable are you perhaps planning to get into the empirical council " Floria smiled at the man to think when she was trying to steer clear of royal matters the man was trying to pull her in "Actually I haven't thought about it and it's the thing that I run a library in Ironvale which is why I have caught the habit of reading that's it"
