Chapter 32 - Chapter 5: The Truth Revealed

The clone's eyes were locked onto Aria's, their mind racing with anticipation. Aria's words hung in the air like a challenge, and the clone was ready to take it on.

"Tell me," the clone repeated, their voice firm.

Aria's smile grew wider, and she leaned forward, her voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "You see, Clone, you're not just a clone. You're a prototype. A test subject for a much larger project."

The clone's eyes narrowed, their mind whirling with possibilities. "What project?"

Aria's eyes glinted with excitement. "The Project Elysium. A program designed to create the perfect human being. And you, my dear Clone, are the key to its success."

The clone's eyes widened as the words hit them like a ton of bricks. They felt like they were staring into the abyss, with no safety net to catch them.

But just as they thought they understood, Aria dropped the bombshell.

"You're not just a clone, Clone. You're the original. Aria is the clone."

The room went silent, the clone's mind reeling in shock. They stared at Aria, their eyes searching for answers. The face that was once familiar now seemed twisted and distorted.

"No," the clone whispered, their voice barely audible. "That's not possible."

Aria's smile grew wider, her eyes glinting with madness. "Oh, but it is. You see, I was created to be the perfect vessel. But you... you're the original template. The one who survived the process."

The clone's world was turned upside down. Everything they thought they knew about themselves, about their life, was a lie. They felt like they were living in a dream, and someone had just pulled the plug.

The clone's eyes locked onto Aria's, a mix of emotions swirling inside them. Anger, shock, confusion. They didn't know what to believe, or who to trust.

But one thing was certain. The clone knew they had to escape, and they had to take down the organization once and for all.

"Kael," the clone whispered, their eyes never leaving Aria's. "We need to get out of here. Now."

Kael nodded, their gun trained on Aria. "Let's go."

As they turned to leave, the clone couldn't help but wonder. What did this mean for them? Were they truly the original, or was this just another lie?

The clone pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on survival. They would deal with the truth later. For now, they had to live.
