I'm pissed. I'm fucking livid!
I want my fucking memory back already. That nurse knows something, the hostility she had for my friends or whoever the fuck they are at this point was more than just dislike of their presence, it was deeper than that. I need to crack this girl somehow, if it were Chloe I would've had that shit in the bag by now.
How could Lex do this to me? I have been so good to her, I've had women throw themselves at me and I've looked the other way every fucking time! I was respectful, I gave her everything she's ever wanted and this is what I get in return? She runs into my best fucking friend's arms? Fuck! And Rylie? My best friend since birth is going to betray me like this? We were practically brothers for Christ's sake. How could I not see this?
Wait…is that why everyone was acting like there was a fucking elephant in the room last night?! God what a fool I am! Is that why Nurse Girl was acting all weird too? Because she saw what was happening? I don't know, she said they left me for dead though, cheating and hiding it behind my back isn't leaving me for dead. This is all fucked.
Nancy is cleaning up the mess I made, "Sorry Nancy."
She looks up from wiping the applesauce from the wall, "It's okay Cole."
Fuck why does she have to be nice to me? Why can't she be like what's her face and chew me out?
"Have a good night honey, I'll see you tomorrow," she throws the paper towel in the trash, I give her a weak smile in return and she leaves.
I pull my phone from the charger and off the rolling table it sits on, and text Lex again, this time a little less pleasantly.
Me: fuck you Lex I know what you're doing with Rylie. Get your shit out of my house we're fucking done!
Less than a minute passes when her text comes through.
Lex: Cole please I'm so sorry, don't do this I love you
Me: fuck you
Lex: I can explain everything, I can come tomorrow and we can talk this through
Me: Don't we're done
Lex: You don't mean that
I decide not to text back because it's pointless, she's a backstabbing whore who doesn't deserve another word from me.
Another knock sounds at the door, it's getting really annoying now all this knocking, coming and going, being poked and prodded all day long.
A man who evidently spends way too much time on his appearance and blonde bimbo nurse come walking in together.
Prince Charming holds his laptop under his arm and walks over to me.
"Hi Cole, I'm Dr. Roman Ridley, I apologize we didn't get to meet last night, I came in over night but you were already asleep and didn't want to wake you." He smiles like he's trying out for a dental commercial and it's freakin me out.
"Oh uh, it's all good," What does he want me to say?
"I'm going to do a quick check over the abrasions first and we'll move on to your leg," he sets the laptop down at the counter by the sink and walks to the gloves pulling out two periwinkle large gloves before placing them over his hands that I'm pretty fucking sure have never touched a tool in his lifetime.
"Erright," I feel awkward as fuck in his presence.
While he starts checking my gashes that actually look like they're starting to heal, I look over to I can't remember her name as she is staring at Dr. charming.
Ahh I know that look, I've seen that look way too many times in my life. She's mentally undressing him right now isn't she? If I weren't so angry I'd probably laugh at her expense.
"Everything is looking just fine, I'm a little concerned about the redness surrounding the wound on your thigh but I think the antibiotic you're on will clear that up, in the meantime, we'll keep a close eye on it. Jess, I want you to take a look for reference," Oh shit that's her name.
Blondie snaps out of her dreamland and walks over to us, "Okay sure," she looks at my leg intently like I'm a science experiment.
The doctor leaves my side and goes to his laptop typing a mile a minute. I take the opportunity to raise my eyebrows up and down a few times at Jess and look towards Prince Charming to indicate I know what she was doing. She glares at me.
"Does he know? Do you guys get freaky in the supply.." She shuts my mouth with her hand over my mouth which only confirms how deep she's in for it.
"Would you shut up?" She whisper yells at me. I smile under her palm.
I take her soft warm hand away from my lips and glare back at her, "Tell me the truth about last night and I won't make a scene and humiliate you in front of your lover."
She hastily puts her hands on her hips, "You wouldn't dare."
"Oh.." I begin but she tries to shut me up again before the doctor notices. I'm having way too much fun with this.
"Shut your god damned mouth or I will kill you myself, look around you buddy, it's not that hard." Oh shit, girl has some fire in her. I remove her hand once again.
"Is that a threat Jessica?" I taunt her.
The iciness in her voice doesn't go unnoticed, "It's whatever you want to call it Cole Carson."
