A few days after starting school , Albert regretted taking all the classes; he said he felt like his head was stuck in a door.
It was really frustrating. Just thinking about finishing one class and having to rush into another without even having time to catch my breath was maddening.
The problem Albert facedwasn't the course content;as can be seen by examining the content of Muggle Studies , the information in the textbooks wasn't difficult for him .
The title of the Muggle Studies textbook was: " Family Life and Social Habits of English Muggles ". It was possible to understand the content just by reading the title.
Charity Burbage is a pro- Muggle activist. In her first Muggle Studies class, she told everyone that there was no difference between wizards and Muggles .
Albert had some doubts about whetherthis Muggle Studies program would actually be successful. Did the professor truly understand Muggles ,orhad he simply spent over a year in the Muggle world without using magic ?
There is no doubt that Professor Charity Burbage was an expert in Muggle Studies .
Alright!
Albert , based on his past life experiences, disliked the term "expert."
Why did he choose to attend all these classes?
Actually, Albert wanted a time turner . He hoped to obtain one through a quest , or at least learn about its manufacturing process .
Albert wasn't particularly interested in the mysteries of time; he knew it was dangerous, but he also believed that with time, there would be much more room for maneuver in certain situations.
Of course, using the time turner required extreme caution, and Albert was extra careful with each use. However, having to walk long distances to get to classes every day was what really annoyed and became unbearable for him.
Climbing up and down several floors in the castle all day was a more exhausting physical activity than any other exercise, and even taking shortcuts didn't improve the situation much.
Albert even suspected thatTom would rapidly lose weight if he went to school with him every day.
Hmm, that's a good idea, but it's quite difficult to put into practice.
It wasn't possible for her to bring a cat to class every day.
With Tom's introduction to the common room, all the Gryffindor students now knew that the famous Albert Anderson had a very fat English shorthair cat and that he spent his free time playing with it in the common room, using a feather.
" Albert ." Quidditch Captain Wood went over, stood in front of Albert , and, in a meaningful tone, patted him on the shoulder, saying, "Don't forget to come to practice this weekend."
" Wood , please let me go. I have twelve homework assignments to do right now and I have no free time for Quidditch ," said Albert , holding Tom in his arms and looking helplessly at the Quidditch Captain who stood before him .
"Just finishing your daily tasks is enough."
" We can't find a suitable Seeker ." Wood wasn't about to back down. He picked up his cat toy, shook it, and asked, "And, really, you have no free time?"
Wood didn't believeany of Albert's nonsense .
Don't you have any free time?
If he really didn't have much time, would he still be here playing with a cat?
"You can choose a player; there's still plenty of time before the game starts. I guarantee you'll find a more suitable Seeker ," said Albert , almost striking his chest to reassure him. "I prophesied to you that a young Seeker would join Gryffindor this year . Believe me, you'll soon find a better player than me."
"Damn prophecy , don't you know what everyone thinks about the Professor ? " "Trelawney ?" Wood felt Albert was completely ignoring him . He couldn't understand why such a powerful Seeker wouldn't want to join the team and bring victory home .
"If… well, if you haven't actually selected a suitable Seeker by next month , I certainly won't refuse," said Albert , glancing at the First Year Flight Class announcement posted on the bulletin board in the common room .
"Don't forget what you said." Wood raised his hand and patted Albert lightly on the shoulder . "Then don't try to make up any more excuses."
" I think Wood will lose ."
After Wood left, George , who was writing an article on "The Shrinking Solution,"quietly said to Lee Jordan , who was sitting next to him , " Albert hasn't lost a single bet."
"I think so too; something we don't know about must have happened," Fred murmured quietly. They both knew Albert rarely did anything without certainty. His daring to bet with Wood meant he was confident he would win.
So who will replace Albert as the Seeker for Gryffindor ?
The three of them looked in the same direction, their gazes falling on Harry, who was playing wizard chess with Ron , and they began whispering again.
" The person Albert was talking about last time was Harry Potter , right?"
"Do you think Harry Potter will really be good at flying?"
"I don't know," George said, somewhat hesitantly. "But his father was really good and won a lot of trophies for the house. And I think Albert's predictions are always very accurate."
"We need to have the results this month."
"I don't think it will take long," Fred muttered , looking at the bulletin board. " Albert , don't you have any homework?"
Albert stroked Tom's chubby bellyand, smiling, said, "I'm already finished."
"When did you finish?" Lee Jordan asked in surprise.
Shortly after school started, the professors were eager to give them a ton of assignments, and now they had far more classes than before, which made the coursework particularly heavy.
"Yesterday."
" You told Wood you didn't have time ." Fred's gaze seemed to say, "Watch out, I'm going to report you."
"I was telling the truth," Albert said , shaking his head very seriously. "I currently have twelve classes and more homework each day than all of you."
He sat down in an empty chair next to the others, while Tom was seated at the adjacent table, immediately taking up a large space. Feeling someone's gaze, Albert turned his head and asked with a smile, "Is something wrong, Miss Granger ?"
Hermione quickly averted her gaze and focused her attention back on her book.
"Your charm is still as magnificent as ever," Fred teased . "If you can catch a few more golden snitches for our house, you'll certainly be even more attractive."
Albert couldn't help but roll his eyes at Fred and said nonchalantly, "He's probablylooking at Tom right now . My cat always beats the girls."
"That's right," said Angelina , going over and stroking Tom's head . Then she said to Albert , " I heard from Wood , congratulations on joining the team! We have a good chance of winning the Quidditch Cup this year . And Alicia and Katie are also official players this year."
"How did you do that?" Fred asked in astonishment.
"What should I do?" Angelina didn't understand Fred 's question .
George said, with a hint of annoyance in his voice, "This fat cat never lets us touch him.I almost got scratched last time."
"Because you're not a girl," Lee Jordan murmured quietly.
"Because you have bad intentions," Albert said , looking at Lee Jordan . "Cats have sharper senses than we do. If you have bad intentions, they'll stay away from you."
Of course, even though he said so, Albert wasn't entirely sure what the situation was.
"Oh, and one more thing, I almost forgot." Just as she was about to walk away , Angelina suddenly stopped and looked at Albert .
"Why?"
" When is this year's Wizarding Card Game taking place? Last time you mentioned that the wizard cards would be completely updated . When can we get the new cards?"
"This…" Albert was worried, because he really wasn't prepared. He had so many things to be busy with.
"Don't forget this; everyone's really looking forward to it," Angelina said before turning around and heading towards the girls' dormitory.
"Don't tell me you've really forgotten about it." Lee Jordan was still very worried about the Wizard Card Club .
" I couldn't use magic for most of the summer ," Albert murmured .
"What?"
Suddenly, a loud bang was heard nearby. The group simultaneously turned their heads towards the sound and saw a cloud of black smoke rising from a teacup in front of a boy with a blackened cheek.
"Great, a new hairstyle?" Lee Jordan examined the freshman, stood up, walked over to him, and even waved his hand at the still steaming teacup, smiling as he asked the person beside him, "What were you doing just now?"
With slightly darkened cheeks, a nearby child hesitantly said, "I think he was trying to turn the water in the glass into red wine."
"Hmm?" Fred and George gathered around curiously and, grinning, said, "If that's the case, how did he shatter the glass? Maybe we can use that spell someday."
"Should we blow up the toilet?"
"That sounds good."
"If I find out you blew up the toilet… cough cough!" Percy waved his wand to disperse the smoke , then glared at Fred and George before saying to the boy, "Are you alright? If you're injured, you'd better go to the Hospital Wing."
"If you need a hair loss prevention product to get your eyebrows back, you can easily get a bottle of hair loss prevention product for ten sickles ," Fred added, not forgetting to advertise . "Of course, you can also go to Madam Pomfrey ; perhaps she can help your eyebrows return to normal."
"Where did you get that hair loss cream?" Lee Jordan muttered .
" Albert has some in his medicine cabinet; we can help him sell them. Besides, if we don't have any, we can make some ourselves," Fred said without hesitation.
"Are you sure the hair removal liquid you prepared is safe to use?" Lee Jordan asked and quickly walked away.
Harry, who had been playing wizard chess nearby , was stunned, while Ron involuntarily covered his face. He knew Fred and George were mischievous, but he never expected them to behave like this at school.
They were indeed responsible for Filch's previous harassment of them.
