Standing around the lobby of their hotel in Edmonton, Blair casually checked his phone, but only after ensuring nobody was standing behind him.
Nothing from Justin. Looked like it was finally over. He wasn't sure how he felt about that.
Eli ambled back from the check-in counter, tucking his key card into his pocket.
"Don't pout like that," he said to Blair. "Doesn't suit you." "I am not pouting."
"Nah, but I can tell you are in your heart." Eli pushed his sunglasses up onto the crown of his head, then ran a hand through his salt-and-pepper hair.
"It does feel kind of strange, I have to admit."
"It makes sense from a team-building perspective. You two barely know each other but you play lights out. Nikita doesn't know that many people and even less of those are friends."
Blair cut him off there. "His own fault."
