A terrifying aura erupted.
Blinding white light swallowed everything.
The entire Seventh Fleet was engulfed; steel began to soften and slough away under the Tri-Beam's force.
Aircraft were melted before they could even launch.
As for the people aboard—if anything, they were "lucky."
Before the metal around them liquefied, that overwhelming energy had already erased them.
They were gone like smoke on the wind.
Before an absolute powerhouse, armies are a joke.
Still, Leon Ragnell had to admit—the Crane School's ultimate technique hit hard.
Generally speaking, a Kamehameha boosts output by about two to three times.
The Special Beam Cannon clocks in around fourfold.
And the Crane School's Tri-Beam is already close to that fourfold tier.
Later, Tien Shinhan improved it into the Neo Tri-Beam, which was even scarier.
A pouch of senzu beans and a pack of smokes—pinning Cell down all day.
For Tien to hold back Second Form Cell by sheer force says everything about how brutally the Neo Tri-Beam amps ki.
Leon had studied this back in the Dragon Ball world.
The Turtle School and Crane School represent two different paths.
Turtle School focuses on fortifying the self—building the body, tempering the mind: train when it's time to train, relax when it's time to relax. Techniques? Largely self-realized.
Most of Master Roshi's disciples discovered the Kamehameha on their own.
Crane School pursues lethality—combat-real damage first, technique power cranked to eleven, but with life energy as the fuel bill. It's an assassin's curriculum.
As for Leon? He liked the Crane School.
Burning lifespan? Not his problem—he had Majin Buu's cells. Why worry?
Whoosh!
Just then, Leon heard a shriek in the sky. He looked up.
A missile screamed straight toward him.
"A nuke?"
Leon blinked—he hadn't expected the U.S. to jump straight to nuclear just to take him down.
A cold smile tugged at his lips. "Fine. Let's show you what I can really do."
He didn't dodge. He didn't even move—just watched the nuclear warhead streak in.
Across countless screens, eyes were glued to the feed. They'd just watched Leon erase the Seventh Fleet with a single shot—a suffocating display of power. But could a monster like that withstand humanity's most fearsome weapon?
BOOM!
The nuke slammed into Leon.
A devastating shockwave rippled outward.
The entire Atlantic Ocean heaved under titanic rings of force.
A towering mushroom cloud punched into the sky.
This warhead's yield was at least three hundred times that of Little Boy and Fat Man.
And besides the blast and heat, there was the real terror—radiation.
"Is he dead?" Alexander Pierce asked, staring at the roiling smoke, throat working.
Nick Fury's gaze drilled into the screen. He had a bad feeling.
That man called Leon… probably wasn't dead at all.
President Matthew Ellis, however, was supremely confident. In this world, no carbon-based life form survives a nuclear detonation. None. Impossible. Leon was done.
"Nick!"
Agent Maria Hill suddenly called out. "We've got movement!"
Fury jolted, eyes locking on the feed.
The smoke peeled away, blown apart by a surge of pressure.
And out of that churning haze, a silhouette emerged.
"He… he's not dead!" Fury breathed. "He's actually still alive!"
Leon stood there—clothes shredded, yes—but otherwise untouched.
The nuke's searing temperatures meant nothing to him.
The radiation? Laughable—he'd incorporated Frieza's cells. Cosmic rays didn't faze him. A little nuclear fallout? Please.
Under S.H.I.E.L.D.'s ultra-high-resolution sensors,
they saw it clearly: Leon hadn't suffered even the slightest injury.
Not a cut. Not a burn. Not a scratch.
The nuclear strike hadn't harmed him at all.
Pierce was stunned. So was the President.
Then they saw Leon tip his head back. His lips moved—speaking.
"Next… the Third Fleet."
The message hit the White House in seconds.
The Third Fleet.
Together with the Seventh, it forms the backbone of the Pacific Fleet. If Leon destroyed both, it would mean America's military presence in the Pacific was finished.
No—
This wasn't the time to weigh that.
Judging by what Leon had already shown, this guy could destroy the United States.
Maybe even the entire planet.
"Negotiate—negotiate, negotiate right now!" President Ellis shouted hoarsely. "Open talks with him immediately!"
