Sandy snapped, "You're the monster—your whole damn family is!"
At that moment, Luffy half-crouched, one hand on his thigh and the other pressed to the ground.
"Second Gear!"
Lucci stood up again. "Did you forget, Straw Hat Luffy? In the Galley-La mansion, I pierced you with one blow in this form."
Luffy stood straight. "Oh, that time. I was fine after eating meat."
"Shave!"
Lucci instantly appeared in front of Luffy and used the same move from the mansion.
"Finger Pistol!"
But Luffy had already vanished from his original spot, reappearing behind Lucci.
"Gum-Gum Jet Rocket!"
"Iron Body!" Lucci reacted instantly, turning around to defend.
BOOM—!
Lucci was once again slammed into the wall.
Outside the Gate of Justice
On the long drawbridge, Spandam dragged Robin, who resisted even with Sea Stone cuffs on.
"Ya ha ha! Look!" Spandam laughed. "Preparation for departure is complete! No one can stop me now."
He sneered. "By the way, little criminal… I've activated landmines on the stairs up ahead. If someone steps on them—BOOM—stairs gone. Pretty interesting, right?"
Robin stayed silent.
"But don't worry," Spandam continued gleefully. "No one will make it this far anyway! Ya ha ha!"
Robin finally said, "I will not go through that gate. Because they said they would come save me."
"Huh?!" Spandam spun angrily. "No one is coming, you foolish woman! They'll all be burned to death by the Buster Call!"
He rambled on arrogantly about Ohara, Jaguar D. Saul, her mother, the tragedy of twenty years ago, and his father Spandine leading the Buster Call.
Robin's expression slowly twisted with trembling fury.
Spandam smirked. "Twenty years of living worse than a dog… how unfortunate~ And twenty years later, I, as the son, will end your story!"
Crackle…
Blue electricity flickered beside him.
Sandy appeared—because Robin had finally learned the full story.
Spandam turned, saw him, and collapsed in terror.
"Y-You—you're a pirate! How did you get here?!"
Sandy smiled.
"The World Government is rotten to its core."
"Space Field!"
Clang!
Robin's Sea Stone handcuffs fell off.
Sandy grabbed Spandam by the collar with one hand. Smiling gently, he said.
"For world peace… you're truly amazing."
Pfft—
A small knife plunged into Spandam's thigh.
Ignoring his wails, Sandy said.
"This stab is for hitting Robin.
This stab is for insulting Robin.
This stab is for scaring Robin.
This stab…"
"Enough! Enough! Don't stab anymore! Waaaah!" Spandam cried.
Sandy chuckled, "No, no. You treated Robin so 'well.' How could I not return the favor? Just leave this part to me."
One stab.
Two stabs.
Three.
Four…
Franky, who had arrived, broke into a cold sweat.
How the hell is he more brutal than me?!
Drip… drip… drip…
The sound of blood hitting the floor didn't slow Sandy down.
He then turned to Robin.
"Robin, now that you know everything… do you have any thoughts? Want to stab him a few times yourself?"
"Hey! Pirates! Release our officer immediately!"
"That's right! If you don't, we'll shoot!"
"Everyone stay alert! The one in the distance is the Great Pirate Sleep God Sandy, bounty 300 million Belly! And the Devil Child Nico Robin, 79 million! Orders say Robin must be captured alive!"
Franky stepped forward. "Don't get in the way. They're dealing with something. Left-Hand Weapon!"
Robin adjusted her wrists, then stood.
"Cien Fleur…"
Spandam howled, begging desperately for mercy.
Robin ignored him. Memories of Ohara surged through her mind.
Her eyes hardened.
"Clutch."
