Chapter 25 - Supreme Council (1)

"I wonder how strong I would be at Level 2" Caden was overwhelmed with joy, his heart filled with excitement. He wanted to test his limits.

To see how strong the Primordial Dragon Physique truly was…..

The inflation technique that had turned Prince Hetu into a big round ball had increased his strength and speed.

Prince Hetu, who was at the peak stage, Sword Level, Sword Apprentice, had become three times stronger.

Caden understood that, but he still wanted to confirm his true strength, and now he has confirmed it.

His Sword Level cultivation may be at the middle stage of Sword Apprentice, but his physical strength is already in the realm of a peak stage Sword Knight.

Although Sword Level, initial and middle stage Sword Knights could resist that attack but only a peak stage Sword Knight could truly block it without hesitation.

His strength could be considered a psuedo Sword Knight and that excited him.

He had suggested continuing the battle spar, but Prince Hetu hesitated. He had lost the zeal to fight.

Prince Caden was physically too strong for him. He felt like a child who was being trained by his master.

And Prince Caden was that master.

Prince Hetu smiled bitterly, he cupped his hand, respectfully bowing his head before Prince Caden.

He spoke "Prince Caden, you truly deserve your reputation. Even after having your Mana Core sealed, you are still physically stronger"

"I can't imagine how hard you have trained to get to this position, I'll have to consider this my loss"

The crowd sighed deeply. Prince Hetu's concession wasn't a shameful act to them.

It was an honorary act. Respecting Caden's strength is more like an unwritten law.

Only those on the same Sword Level cultivation could truly defeat each other in a battle.

Caden's strength was beyond the Sword Level, Sword Apprentice cultivation realm.

It was a wise decision to concede. No one could dare look down on Prince Hetu, he did well.

Caden nodded with a smile "I won't stand against your decision, if there's no one else who wants to challenge me to a battle spar"

"I should take my leave now," He said as he turned his back to leave. There was no one who challenged him.

Aside from the three princes who were Sword Level, Sword Apprentices. The rest all had the cultivation of Sword Elites and Sword Masters.

It would be a shameful act to challenge a middle-stage Sword Apprentice, even if they defeat Caden.

There's no honor in it. And Knights prioritize honor and loyalty more than anything in this world.

Before Caden left the battle arena, Prince Kaid found his voice "Prince Caden, if I may ask….where would you be heading to next?"

Caden softly exhaled, "I've spent some days in the Red Crescent Palace already, I have some things to take care of in the Inner-Sector," He answered.

He was heading to the Inner-Sector to check something out.

By the time, he arrived in Red-Pool City, he was filled with countless thoughts.

He was racing against time, he's now a target of the Red Continent. Who knows when they will attack.

Just while he was being overwhelmed with countless thoughts. The system interuppted....

[Reporting.....]

[You've received a special Task]

"A special task?" Caden's brows curled up.

[There are seven Red spies hidden in this City. You've received the role of an assasin]

[Task: Kill all seven Red spies]

[Task Report: 0/7]

[Task Reward: 10 Leveling Points each kill, 1 Unique Skill, 1 Advancement Card]

[Task Timer: 7 Days]

[Task Penalty: Temporary Sealing of Mana Core for 30 Days, all stats will be reduced by 90%]

Seeing the task penalty, Caden gulped, swallowing his saliva "It seems the Primordial System is really focused on taking down the Reds"

"But why?"

*******

Prince Aeros' lips curled into a faint smile. "How interesting, to think Prince Caden is this strong," He muttered as he lay back on his seat.

Prince Aeros as the heir apparent, he's currently in regent of the Red Crescent Kingdom.

The one in charge of managing the affairs of his kingdom in the absence of his father.

He was also in charge of the settlement of the six hundred Kingdoms that had lost their successors in that wicked assassination attempt against a top rising star, Caden Ryder.

While he was busy working on some documents. The information came in shortly after.

Prince Caden defeated Prince Hetu in a battle-spar challenge. It wasn't the defeat that surprised him.

But what was detailed in the report? Prince Hetu had used his infamously inflation ball technique.

Using this technique gave him the strength of a peak Sword Knight which could only be countered by a peak stage, Sword Knight.

But Caden, who was only a middle-stage, Sword Level, Sword Apprentice, was able to counter it effortlessly.

This estimated him to have the strength of a peak stage, Sword Knight.

Prince Aeros softly exhaled "Not only is that kid smart, he's also talented and quite strong as well"

"If only he were my junior brother…..I would have been the proudest brother to ever live." He paused for a second. "Now I understand how King Alex is feeling, this is his son after all…"

His eyes rolled sideways, staring at the window from his wooden armchair, his eyebrows furrowed.

His lips twitched for a second "I wonder what the Supreme Council has to say about this assassination"

****

[Location: Central Barbaros Valley, North Lowen Kingdom]

North Lowen Kingdom is ranked 12th in the fifty-thousand-kingdoms rankings of the Purple Continent.

And it is the strategic home of the Purple Continent's Supreme Council. A kingdom known for its neutrality.

Not having any side, not being a part of any faction despite having the number 12th ranking.

They only lived for themselves.

And within the North Lowen Kingdom, a grand grey tower was situated at the heart of a valley.

This tower is strategic headquarter of the Supreme Council. A discreet location that only members of the Supreme Council knew.

All head members of the Supreme Council were present. They had all rushed here after receiving the summoning decree from the Red Crescent Kingdom.

Since there was an assassination attempt against Caden Ryder in the Red Crescent Kingdom, the Red Crescent Kingdom issued such a summoning decree.

They knew it was a very important matter.

The supreme council's meeting room was a grand chamber with stone walls and a high vaulted ceiling.

Tapestries adorned the walls, depicting scenes of battles and victories. With all the flags of the forty active members laced on the walls.

A large wooden table dominated the center of the room, surrounded by ornate chairs with intricate carvings of lions and dragons.

The seats are arranged hierarchically, with the leader's chair at the head of the table, elevated on a dias.

The chairs were adorned with cushions and tassels, in rich fabrics such as velvet and silks.

Each seat had an insignia imprinted on it. The insignia of a single noble House, a supreme Kingdom's royal house.

Candles and torches lit the room, casting a warm glow over the assembled nobles and warlords.

There are only forty seats, indicating only forty leading members in the Supreme Council.

But there aren't the only members of the Supreme Council. They're simply the heads who controls the actions of the Supreme Council.

There are only three requirements to be a part of the Supreme Council.

The first requirement is, you must be of a royal household in the top one hundred supreme kingdoms.

The second requirement is, you must have a higher position in that kingdom. It doesn't necessarily mean you have to be the king exactly.

The third requirement is that you must at least be on the level of a Sword Level, Sword Grandmaster, or a Mana Convergence Stage, Arch Mage.

These are the three requirements, but even so….. being called to join the Supreme Council is very hard, even for a member of a royal household in the supreme kingdoms.

In the Purple Continent. The Supreme Council has the highest authority that supersedes all kingdoms and organizations.

"Cough Cough" the figure who sat at the head of the table cleared his throat. There was an abrupt silence in the air.

The figure sat with an aura of command, his presence dominating the room. His face was a map of battle-hardened scars, with three clawed marks etched onto his cheek.

One scar cut across his left eyebrow, blinding that eye and adding to his intimidating gaze.

His good eye burned with a fierce intensity, as if daring anyone to challenge him. His features were chiseled, strong, and unyielding.

Like a granite carved by the hands of a master sculptor. His dark purple hair was evidence of his status as a true-born Purpleman.

With everyone's attention fixed on him. He softly exhaled, He's the current leader of the Supreme Council.

A Sword Level, Sword General, and a Mana Convergence Stage, Supreme Mage!

The strongest man in the whole of the Purple Continent.

Claduis Von Neuman.

King of the number one supreme Kingdom of the Purple Continent.

Dragon Heart Kingdom!

His eyes scanned through the seated members, both King Arthur Stark and King Alex Ryder were present.

He took a deep breath "Now we shall begin today's meeting. Due to the recent tragic assassination attempt on a top rising star of our continent, Caden Ryder"

"We've received a report that the author of this assassination attempt is the Red Continent"

"What do you all have to say about this matter?"
