Chapter 52 - Chapter 52: The most vicious boss

In a dark, unmonitored alleyway.

The Bearded Man dragged the silver-haired boy in, his rough hand suddenly gripping the boy's neck, forcefully pressing his small body against the wall.

As the large hand moved upwards little by little, the boy's feet began to leave the ground, flailing violently, his hands constantly trying to pull the hand away, but the strength difference between a strong adult male and a thirteen-year-old boy was too great—

"If you don't hand over the item, I'll strangle you to death!" the Bearded Man whispered hoarsely.

"Bad… bad guy!" the silver-haired boy whimpered.

"You're really asking for death!" A fierce glint flashed in the Bearded Man's eyes. Just as he was about to teach the boy a truly unforgettable lesson, a figure suddenly appeared at the alley entrance.

"Let him go!" the short-haired girl said coldly, looking at him, her voice like that of the police.

"Oh? Another girl…"

Looking at the girl's delicate and pretty face, and her youthful and graceful figure, a strong desire appeared in the Bearded Man's eyes. But before he could take a few more glances, a black-haired boy also walked into the alley. He stood in front of the girl, intentionally blocking the Bearded Man's line of sight.

"You want this, right? Here, let him go," Vincent said, showing the women's handbag in his hand to the Bearded Man.

"That's more like it!" the Bearded Man spat out fiercely, releasing his large hand and letting the panting silver-haired boy sit on the ground.

"Vincent, why did you come too?" Gwen leaned lightly behind Vincent. The girl wasn't panicked; instead, she felt a warmth.

"There's no way I'd let a girl like you face this kind of situation alone," Vincent said softly, turning his head and giving her a reassuring look.

"Give it to me!"

The tall and strong Bearded Man approached Vincent. He only glanced at the women's handbag, his gaze still subtly drifting towards Gwen behind him.

"Take it," Vincent said calmly, holding the women's handbag at his chest with his right hand.

Standing behind Vincent.

Gwen narrowed her eyes, her right wrist slightly raised. Even if she had to expose her abilities, she wouldn't allow anyone to harm Vincent… The Bearded Man came up to Vincent and instinctively reached out to take it, but Vincent suddenly let go of his hand!

As the big man's attention followed the falling handbag to the ground.

Vincent moved suddenly.

He kicked up, landing a fierce blow to the opponent's lower abdomen!

It could be said that the special training during those days on Paradise Island finally came in handy at this moment!

Hit in the lower abdomen by the boy's full-force kick, the Bearded Man grunted in pain, clutching his stomach and falling backward!

Vincent, once he made a move—wouldn't stop until the opponent lost his combat ability!

Vincent decisively stomped twice, landing on the Bearded Man's palms and fingers, making him too much in pain to even clench his fists!

Vincent thought for a moment, then added another kick to the opponent's stomach, making the Bearded Man feel like he was going to throw up bile!

He completed all of this simply and brutally.

Vincent squatted down, quickly searched the opponent's pockets and pants, and after confirming that the opponent was not carrying a gun, he stepped over the groaning big man on the ground and grabbed the silver-haired boy's hand: "Quick, follow me out of here."

The silver-haired boy's eyes sparkled throughout the entire process, and he immediately nodded obediently: "Okay, Big Brother!"

"Gwen, let's go."

Vincent pulled the silver-haired boy, picked up the women's handbag on the ground, and was about to leave with Gwen.

Before the three of them could exit the alley, they were forced back.

Outside the alley entrance.

More than a dozen tall, dyed-haired youths and tattooed men, clearly the kind of people not to be trifled with in the city's underbelly, formed a human wall, filling the narrow alleyway.

"Yo, isn't that Jackson? Haven't seen you in a while, so weak? You actually got overturned by a few kids." A dyed-haired youth glanced at the Bearded Man on the ground and sneered.

"Pah! That kid, he's a bit ruthless! Don't let him go—ah ah ah!" Before the Bearded Man could finish speaking, Vincent, who had returned to the alley, stomped on his hand again.

"One, two, three… eleven people?"

Vincent protected Gwen and the silver-haired boy behind him, retreating to the wall at the deepest part of the dead-end alley. He scanned around, his gaze falling on a long wooden plank on the ground. He quickly bent down, scooped it up with his right hand, and gripped the slender plank like a sword!

With the wooden plank in hand, Vincent felt a little more confident.

However, relying solely on the swordsmanship he learned on Paradise Island, with his current ordinary human body, it would still be too difficult to fight against eleven tough characters from the underworld.

Should he use the divine artifact?

Vincent thought of the Guardian Silver Bracelet on his left hand, which contained a portion of divine power sealed by his aunt. If he used it, he could undoubtedly easily resolve this crisis.

However, using a weapon of such a level as a divine artifact against humans could easily be lethal.

It's not good to use it unless it's the last resort… Unaware that they had already walked on the edge of death, the eleven underworld figures pressed forward.

Just as Gwen was about to reveal her secret and use her Spider-Woman abilities to act.

Next to her, Vincent suddenly whispered, "Gwen, kiss me."

"Eh eh?!" Gwen was stunned.

"Hurry. Otherwise, I'll kiss you," Vincent said in a deep voice.

He thought that even though Gwen was just a normal person, it would be good to add a little physical strength now.

"I, I…" Gwen's face flushed. Just as she made up her mind and was about to kiss Vincent.

On the scene, a change occurred.

"The boss is here!"

Someone suddenly shouted, and the eleven thugs surrounding the alley, along with the Bearded Man lying on the ground spitting bile, suddenly lined up neatly against the two side walls, clearing a wide and unobstructed path.

Their faces showed flattery and fanaticism as they watched the direction of the alley entrance outside, bowing their heads in unison and shouting, "Boss!"

Boss?

Vincent frowned tightly, and together with the silver-haired boy and Gwen, looked forward. Soon, all three of them were stunned.

Only to see at the alley entrance.

A green-haired girl, only twelve or thirteen years old, walked in with a calm and composed demeanor.

Green-haired girl… it should be said, loli.

A head of long green hair, whether natural or dyed, fell casually over her shoulders. Her delicate, doll-like face wore heavy smoky eye makeup, making her appear much older than her age. On her youthful and petite loli body, she wore a camisole, super short hot pants hugged her undeveloped bottom, and her two slender legs were clad in colorful tights.

The green-haired loli boss appeared before Vincent and his group with such an imposing aura.

"Boss, they…" The Bearded Man still wanted to say something.

"Shut up!" The green-haired loli gave him a cold glance, her voice clear and sharp. The Bearded Man, who was twice her size, immediately covered his mouth, cowed into silence.

The green-haired loli did not stop her steps, walking into the alley until she stood in front of Vincent and his group.

The green-haired loli's eyes were very large, with a layer of icy indifference as she scanned the three of them.

Her gaze lingered slightly on the silver-haired boy for a moment, then quickly moved away as if nothing had happened, finally landing on Vincent, who was intentionally protecting the silver-haired boy and Gwen.

Step!

The green-haired loli raised one leg high, almost doing a split, but unfortunately, her height was limited, and her leg was ultimately a little short, only barely managing to step on the wall next to Vincent's elbow.

"You, what's your name?" The green-haired loli leaned in, 'wall-kicking' Vincent with her foot, and asked with interest.

"Vincent," Vincent met her gaze.

"Remember this!"

The green-haired loli grinned wildly: "My name is Lorna. I like you, be my little brother!"
