At the Red Hand headquarters....
Their leader was standing alone in a certain room, looking at the phone on his table, smoking a cigarette calmly..
A while ago...
"Wait, boss, you said a catch?" Barry repeated.
"Yes.... and?" asked the leader.
"He's a hunter! How are we supposed to kill him?" Barry shouted.
"You know very well how we do this, isn't that right, boys?" the leader spoke, pointing to two other persons away from the rest.
"Yes? Boss, we'll kill this wolf and be back here before lunchtime, isn't that right, partner?"
"Yeah, I'll finish it quickly because I'm busy with something important today."
"Good, go and put on the Omni suits."
"The Omni suit?" Barry asked skeptically.
"What, Barry? Don't you know? Ohhh, that's right, you haven't seen them wear it before. You were sick when it happened," their leader spoke, remembering something.
"Boys, show him those suits."
"Roger," one of the persons spoke, going to bring something. Soon, everyone, including the leader, went downstairs.
"Huh?" Barry wondered.
When they all went downstairs into what seemed like a secret room, there was a large cylinder like a strangely shaped vault. As soon as it opened, two knight-like suits appeared.
As the two individuals approached the suits, they raised their arms, one of them smiling joyfully. The suits moved as if alive and merged with them, and they moved dynamically.
"This is! The Omni suit!"
"Wow, I've never seen anything like this before," Barry spoke fascinated, looking at his leader. "Boss, how exactly does it work?"
"Good that you asked. Those suits operate on magic-link technology. Once you link with them, you become one with the suit, just like a hunter."
"This is incredible! Boss, where did you get things like these?" Barry asked because he knew.
"It's a trade secret, boy. Now, you two, go to that boy and get rid of him."
"Yes!" the Silver Knight spoke.
"But how do we kill him? Go to the protest gathering and become wanted? Good idea," the Blue Knight asked sarcastically.
"Just follow him when he leaves. When he reaches her house, kill him quickly. People will think it's a fight among hunters, and no one will suspect a thing," the leader spoke.
"Right, smart as always, Boss," replied the Silver Knight.
"So, we'll kill him and come back with his head!" the Blue Knight spoke.
After they finished, both flew into the air, moving at an inhuman speed, and vanished into the air.
"Wow."
Barry marveled at what he saw and wished he had one of those things.
"Barry, go and follow them. See where they're going. Here's a tracking device. You can know where they're heading."
"Wait, me?" Barry asked.
"Is there a problem with that?" the leader retorted in a threatening tone.
"No, not at all," Barry answered immediately.
"Good, that's what I expected from you. Now go."
...
"This is strange, why aren't they back yet? Are those two bastards messing around again? Damn it, I told them not to mess around or draw attention, otherwise-"
Ring!
His phone was ringing. He picked it up quickly and answered the call.
"Barry, did they finish the job?"
[No... quite the opposite.]
[What nonsense are you talking about? Be precise! What happened?]
[I don't know, the police came and surrounded the place they're in.]
"The police came!?" He stood up in shock.
[Yes.]
"And they haven't come out yet?!"
[Yes, Boss.]
"Damn it!" he shouted angrily, pulling his hair. "Just what are they doing? It was supposed to be an in-and-out job!?"
[Boss! I saw the boy coming out now.]
"What!? Are you sure?"
[Yes, and they're putting him in a large van.]
"Wait, what about them, what about the suits?" he shouted angrily.
[Police cars are already surrounding the place and preventing anyone from entering. I can't do anything under the police's eyes.]
"Dammit! Do something, you useless fool! Anything to stop them from taking it away!"
[Sir, I'm just one person. How can I possibly do anything against them?]
"....Fine. Don't do anything, Barry. Just keep watching."
[Roger, Sir!]
Clock
The Red Hand leader threw the phone violently on the floor, kicked it, and smashed it in anger.
"Son of a bitch!"
"He defeated them?"
"But how!"
"Those suits can kill a D-rank hunter! I witnessed it myself."
"Fuck that!"
"(Sigh).....aaaaghhh" He put his hand on his forehead.
"I thought this damn mutant was just a small obstacle, but the fact that they were defeated by him isn't normal. And now the police have come and taken the suits."
"Once this gets exposed..."
"This damn mutant, he ruined everything!"
"Once I get them out of jail, I'll kill him personally myself!"
.....
A while ago....
Kuro was sitting on the ground where two persons lay still. The Blue Knight was dead, and next to him was the Silver Knight, who was also dead. His face was unrecognizable, his body almost crushed, his neck was broken or twisted strangely, and Kuro was sitting.
"So their gang's name is the Red Hand. What a cliché name."
"Even after interrogating him, he never told me the name of their leader who has those suits, or where they got them from."
"I have to go to him and talk to him personally___"
Suddenly, Kuro's hand began to transform strangely, starting to vibrate like waves. Black sweat started appearing on Kuro's face and began to spread.
"Urgh, not now! Please!"
Kuro hit his werewolf arm to control it, prevent it from spreading, and make his body revert completely. After a while, it calmed down and returned to normal.
"Damn, I used it more than I should have. These guys are no joke. They were the strongest enemies I've faced so far."
"It's good that I managed to restrain myself well and used it only when necessary, because if I transformed, there would be trouble."
"Thinking about it, that gang is a weak gang, but where did they get things like these?"
"I always browse hunter websites, but they never mentioned or even hinted at anything regarding those suits."
"Hmm?"
Kuro's wolf-like ears twitched slightly. He heard people coming and could see, despite the darkness, policemen approaching him.
Kuro saw from a distance four men approaching, looking at him with ambiguous and cold expressions.
"Wait, the police are here?" Kuro thought. "It must be because of the fight. I should try to reason with them."
"Oh, hello___"
Before Kuro could utter a word, they raised their guns towards him.
Kuro was surprised but completely understood their reaction.
He was currently sitting on two corpses of strange knights. Anyone seeing this would be scared, but he felt a bit foolish. What could bullets do to him?
"Wait, let me explain."
"Raise your hands, mutant!" the policeman shouted, not listening to Kuro's words. Expressions of disgust and anger were clear on the policemen's faces.
"Calm down, just let me talk__"
"Bang!"
The policeman fired his gun directly at Kuro's face.
Kuro didn't bother to catch or block the bullet. He just did nothing. When the bullet hit his face, it bounced off his skin without leaving a scratch.
When the bullet ricocheted, the policemen were shocked, looking at each other in disbelief. Kuro sighed, stood up, and raised his hands in surrender.
"Can you calm down now?" Kuro asked, while the policemen were still hesitant. "Good, now let me tell you."
"We request backup! There's a mutant hunter on the loose! We need immediate backup!" the policeman shouted with expressions of anger and seriousness.
"God, what's wrong with this day?" Kuro spoke with a depressed expression.
"Enough," a voice came from behind.
"Huh?" one of the policemen asked.
The voice came from behind them, and they saw two mysterious figures approaching.
They turned and aimed their weapons at them. It was a man and a woman, wearing business attire.
"We are from Aegis and will take over the case from here," the woman spoke, raising her badge, which was a golden circular shield with snakes and a star in the middle. As the woman spoke, more than twenty mysterious individuals appeared, went directly to the two corpses, looked at them without any expressions, and focused entirely on them.
"Aegis!" the policeman exclaimed in surprise.
"What are people like you doing here?" one policeman asked skeptically.
"We were called in when we were informed about strange objects in this residential apartment area."
"But it seems the case is almost solved," the woman spoke, looking at Kuro.
She approached Kuro, followed by her silent colleague.
"Hey, stop! What are you doing?!" a policeman shouted.
"I'm taking him in for questioning about what happened here."
"He's a mutant! And the place for mutants is___!"
The policeman raised his gun towards Kuro and was about to aim it at them.
But as soon as he tried to do this, the man with her raised his hand, it glowed, and instantly the gun melted in his hand. He threw it away in pain.
"Ahhh, my hand!" he screamed in pain. His colleagues looked and realized this person was an Awakened and retreated in fear. Kuro saw this without changing his expression.
"Why are you obstructing the investigation?" she spoke, turning to look at them.
"Huh?" he spoke, resisting the pain in his hand.
"I'll repeat myself. Why are you obstructing the investigation? Your job is people's safety, not threatening them. Continuing this will ruin your career."
"He's a mutant!?" he spoke in disbelief.
"So?" she replied.
"These mutants are a danger to people!" the policeman shouted. "Our job is to protect people!"
"He is still a citizen of this state, and he will be investigated without immediate judgment, without any prejudices," she spoke in a cold tone.
"Or if one of your family members became a mutant, would you shoot him without hesitation?"
As soon as she said this, the policeman fell silent and lowered his head in shame, followed by his colleagues.
"Yeah, that's the expected reaction," she spoke and went towards Kuro, looking at him.
"Good, now, boy, would you please come with us to the car?"
"Yes, I mean, I don't have another choice. But about these___"
"Don't worry about that."
The woman snapped her fingers, and more than ten persons, wearing the same robe but with a different emblem than theirs, stepped forward. The police were surprised. These individuals moved with precision and skill and began removing the two corpses.
"Let's go then," the woman spoke with a cold smile.
