Countless black hands reached out from beneath the River of Rebirth, grasping for Adam, trying to drag him under.

Adam raised his hand and fired a beam of energy, blasting a massive hole through the black hands with a thunderous bang!

Before he could fire again, more dark hands surged from the river and yanked him below.
"Gurgle—!"
Adam choked as water filled his lungs, his strength fading. Even the divine power of the Bull Talisman couldn't free him from their grasp.
Am I… going to stop here?
Scenes from his past flashed in his mind—
From the moment he obtained his grimoire, his legendary life began.
His first Dragon Blast taught that foul-mouthed guy a lesson.
He defeated Ladin during the entrance exam and was chosen by Captain Yami Sukehiro.
He attended the commendation ceremony and taught them a harsh lesson.
He awakened the power of the Perfect Dragon.
He fought Licht, and at the cost of losing his life, crushed the Magic Pill.
He battled the Third Eye, went to the Underwater Temple, and gained the power of the Water Spirit.

He entered the Dungeon Palace, obtained the Dragon Servant, and grew stronger alongside Mereoleona.
He created the Son of the Sea, only to be sealed by Patolli.
He shattered the Dragon Pendant and obtained the power of all Twelve Zodiac Talismans.
He defeated the Word Soul Devil, seized the Emperor's Sword, slew the Demon, and sealed the Underworld…
He truly was a young hero—his legend brilliant and awe-inspiring.
These memories passed before Adam's eyes like a silent movie reel.
Then, lying in Mimosa's arms, Adam began to emit a faint light.
"What's going on!?" Mimosa gasped.
Adam's body floated into the air, and suddenly—
Boom. Boom. Boom.
His heartbeat returned, echoing across the entire battlefield. A dazzling white light flooded the royal capital, healing the wounded with the Horse Talisman's divine energy.
"Adam…"
Mereoleona turned toward the light, punching her father away in shock as tears glimmered in her fierce eyes.
The Spartan brothers behind her looked grim—they could feel that the tide had turned.
"I'll prove myself! Water Magic: Sea Dragon's Roar!"
Noelle's furious cry shook the air as a massive dragon head made of water lunged toward Asier.
Her brothers and sisters could only bow their heads in shame, realizing how far Noelle had come.
"I'll give you peace, Mother," said Nozel, trapping Asier in a mercury cage. "I won't let them use your soul again."
Elsewhere…
Yami Sukehiro and Nacht commanded countless dark spirits against Morgen, while Xiaoshui, Xiaolan and Admiller clashed, water energy surging between them.
Lemiel and Princia fought side-by-side, defeating one of Lucius's clones.
Those who had been on the brink of collapse now stood tall again, renewed by Adam's returning power.
"Die!"
Yuno, whose mana was nearly depleted, felt Adam's energy fill him anew. He unleashed a Starfall, obliterating Lucius's clone before facing the real one.
"If the timeline hadn't changed," Lucius said slowly, rising from his throne, "you alone, among thousands of timelines, would have been capable of defeating me."
He had absorbed nearly all the magic from the Magic Book Tower and now sought to eliminate this final threat—Yuno.
Only then could he focus on his greater goals: the distant Spade Kingdom… and Adam, whom he believed already dead.
"I've wasted enough time. Time Magic: Chrono Prison."
"Star Magic: Starfall!"
Meanwhile, within the River of Rebirth—
"No! I will never give up! I'm Adam!"
Trapped and bound by countless black hands, Adam's eyes burned gold. His body erupted in radiant energy, burning away the darkness around him.
With the Rooster Talisman's divine power, he soared upward—
Splash!
Bursting from the river's surface, he gasped for air. The scorched black hands tried to pull him back under.
"I can feel it—that power…"
A golden grimoire appeared before him, its eleventh page blazing with the Dog Talisman's sigil.
"Loyal Dog, protect my life forever!"
In an instant, Adam vanished from the river—his soul pulled back to the world of the living.
"Sylph!"
Yuno's voice rang out. Wearing a crown and a flowing green cloak, he wielded a sword born of Star and Wind Magic.
Assimilated with the Wind Spirit, Yuno activated his Spirit Dive: Sylph Form, clashing violently with Lucius in midair.
Lucius blinked behind Yuno, reaching to seize him with Time Magic, but Yuno's reflexes were faster. In a blur, he twisted away.
"Wind Emperor: Falling Star Slash!"
Dozens of radiant slashes burst from his blade—faster than light, each one imbued with stellar and wind force.
"Time Magic: Time Domain."
A deep violet circle expanded around Lucius. Every slash that touched it froze in midair before dissolving.
"Magic Gate."
A massive bronze gate appeared, spewing hundreds of magical projectiles toward Yuno.
"Damn it!"
Yuno dodged and weaved through the barrage, his body glowing from exertion.
"Got you."
Lucius appeared beside him in a flash—Yuno was caught in the Time Field, unable to move.
Lucius sneered. "It's over."
But then—
"Let go of Yuno!!"
Asta's voice roared across the battlefield.
He charged forward, wielding the Demon-Slayer Sword, and dove straight into the time field—completely unaffected.
Lucius's eyes widened.
Anti-Magic…!
He teleported instantly, evading Asta's swing. A blue sphere of compressed time energy struck Asta in the back, slamming him to the ground.
Boom!
Asta hit hard, his Anti-Magic aura fading.
"You are a lowly being without magic," Lucius said coldly. "You don't even deserve to exist in my new world."
He turned toward Yuno, raising his hand wreathed in Time Magic.
Slash!
A wound appeared across Lucius's chest. He blinked in disbelief and retreated.
"Anti-Magic power?!"
Yuno stood, holding the Sword of Elements in one hand and the Demon-Slayer Sword in the other. Behind him, his wind wings had transformed—one angelic, one demonic.
The moment Asta had been struck, he had transferred all his remaining Anti-Magic to Yuno.
"Even without magic, Asta never gave up," Yuno said coldly. "You'll never understand his spirit—the will to rise again, no matter how many times you fall."
He raised both swords, eyes blazing.
"No one wants your twisted new world, Lucius. Your so-called dream will never come true!"
Lucius's smile twisted.
"Then I'll make you the lowest of the low in my new world—an insect crawling beneath my feet."
His Time Domain expanded violently. "That inferior, magicless fool… should never have existed!"
