Chapter 184 - After assigning the new project to Vanko, Xu Dan left Antarctic Military Industries.

The trip to Monaco had originally been Tony's idea — a friendly gesture, meant to help Xu Dan relax and have some fun. Instead, things had nearly turned into a disaster.

Back in New York, Tony's concussion had been confirmed. Even with the high-efficiency medicine from Antarctic Biologics, recovery still required time.

So Xu Dan decided to visit him.

As a patient, Tony was enjoying five-star treatment at home. Pepper stayed by his side taking meticulous care of him, while he lounged comfortably on the sofa like royalty.

When Xu Dan walked in, Pepper stood up, greeted him politely, and then excused herself.

"Tony, I think you should break a few more bones or something," Xu Dan joked. "Pepper might just let you live like a celestial being."

Tony continued pretending to be weak and miserable. "Jealous of my Pepper, huh? I'm telling you — she's the best woman in the world…"

Pepper, who had just stepped outside, heard that and felt warmth in her chest before heading off to the company.

"Alright, stop acting." Xu Dan walked over and kicked Tony lightly.

"Did she really leave?" Tony instantly dropped the act. His face lost all signs of frailty, his posture straightened, and he looked perfectly fine.

"She's gone."

"Whew!" Tony let out a long breath. "Dan, you're my savior. Since I got back, Pepper hasn't let me touch a game because of the concussion. It's been days — I haven't played at all!"

Xu Dan chuckled. "If you log in now, won't she see the playtime record? Those gaming helmets track everything."

Tony waved it off. "Then I won't play Jedi. I'll play StarCraft. I'm good at that."

"I'm used to virtual games now. I barely touch StarCraft anymore."

"Come on… fine, I'll play alone. Or we could make new accounts and compete — see who develops faster. That'd be fun!"

"I'm not playing," Xu Dan said. "Actually, I brought you a gift. It's still in my car."

"What gift?" Tony barely cared. Right now, nothing mattered more than gaming — not even a sack of cash.

But the moment Xu Dan returned with it, Tony's attitude flipped instantly.

Two brand-new gaming helmets.

Their design differed from the first generation, sleeker, more futuristic.

"Brother, I love this gift already!"

"Hold on," Xu Dan said. "These helmets can't connect to Jedi."

Tony froze. "What?! Is there something wrong with them? Don't worry, I'll fix it! Though… that means even less gaming time for me…"

"There's nothing wrong," Xu Dan explained. "They can't connect to Jedi because they aren't Jedi helmets. They're for League of Legends."

Tony's expression changed again.

"League of Legends?" he asked, hope rising. "You mean… you developed a new virtual game?"

Xu Dan nodded. "More or less."

League of Legends had actually been developed before Jedi, but since it had launched early in Asgard, Xu Dan had avoided releasing it on Earth to prevent complications. One day, he planned to present a completely new version to humanity.

"Oh my God, Dan, you're a god. A literal god on Earth!" Tony was ecstatic.

Jedi had already hooked players worldwide — even people who once claimed to hate shooters were now addicted to energy lightsabers.

Tony was a full-on Antarctic Studios fan. From The King of Fighters to Jedi, he'd played everything.

And now there was a new virtual online game — secretly developed?!

"Here." Xu Dan handed him a helmet.

The new model had a built-in battery and network terminal. Just put it on and play.

"Dan… do I get any special bonuses?" Tony asked eagerly.

"In Jedi, you gave me ten times attack speed. Not super useful there. But here? Maybe ten times crit damage?"

Xu Dan rolled his eyes. "Yeah right. This isn't Jedi. It's closer to World of Warcraft. Why would you need ten times attack speed? You'd break the balance!"

"An RPG-style world?!" Tony's eyes sparkled.

He remembered leveling in Warcraft and dreaming of entering that fantasy world. Now that dream was real.

He didn't even care about cheat bonuses anymore — he just wanted in.

"Let's go then! What race did you pick? What class? Which beginner village?" Tony fired off questions rapidly.
