In the League of Legends universe, there are indeed many races — humans, Vastaya, yordles, celestial beings, and more.
The Vastaya and the celestial race can both be divided into many sub-branches.
But any normal person entering the game would choose human by default, right?
The Vastaya are half-human, half-beast. Yordles are all short. As for the celestial race — that isn't even available to players.
"Don't worry about it. You'll understand once you're inside. Oh, and choose Ionia."
After saying that, Xu Dan walked out of the living room holding his helmet.
Tony put on his helmet. Just like the earlier version of the system, starting the game wasn't difficult.
He entered that white space and began creating his character.

After a long string of settings, he finally reached the final step.
"Please choose place of birth: Demacia, Noxus, Ionia, Piltover…"
"Ionia."
"Character creation successful. Preparing to enter the game. Please get ready~"
"Wait… Xu Dan never told me his nickname. How am I supposed to find him?"
No one answered.
In a flash of white light, he appeared on a plain.
This was a village in the northwest corner of Ionia. Further north lay the cold region. Further east, a monastery could be seen.
That was the Order of Equilibrium.
Tony didn't know that — he simply assumed it was a class-change location.
"Wow… this place is beautiful. Way better than that survival game," Tony muttered.
Suddenly, there was a rustling sound.
The grass parted.
A scaled snake with two small legs lunged at him.
It was a wild creature of Ionia. Its head resembled a cute tanuki, but its body was clearly that of a venomous snake, covered in prominent scales. It moved incredibly fast.

A red number appeared above Tony's head.
You are dead.
Tony nearly cried.
Why didn't this game follow normal logic? Weren't players supposed to spawn in a beginner village? Why did he spawn in the wilderness?!
A new character getting instantly killed by an aggressive monster — how was this playable?!
Ten seconds later, he resurrected.
Not at a town.
Right where he died.
Normally, that would be great.
Right now, it was a nightmare.

This time, the snake seemed confused. It had clearly killed this human — why did he keep standing back up?
So it lay beside his "corpse," watching curiously.

She could lift entire landmasses.
When Tony resurrected again, he quietly hid behind Xu Dan.
"I don't want to die anymore… please…"
Xu Dan looked at the nearly broken Tony and gestured for Syndra to calm down.
