Chapter 14 - Shu's POV: The bed is for rest- yea right

Scene: "Poking the Bear. Deliberately."

Location: BC Sol Headquarters – Private Hallway Outside Valt's Office

Time: 12:15 PM – The Calm After the Chaos (Or So Valt Thinks)

After what could only be described as a public tension storm of legendary proportions, the halls of BC Sol had finally cleared.

Free had vanished to wherever smug demons go.

Kris had made herself scarce—after one last dagger-glare at Shu that got returned with a dry "Do you need directions to the exit?"

And the rest of the bladers, sensing their lives were at stake, scattered like sparking launchers.

Now, only Valt and Shu remained in the quiet corridor leading to the BC Sol private dorms and executive quarters.

Valt, still buzzing from the chaos and… other intense moments of the day, leaned against the wall outside his room, arms crossed, a sly little glint flickering in his ocean-blue eyes.

He turned to Shu, who was looking at the door like he was already planning to bolt the hinges shut behind them.

> "So…" Valt began, tone dangerously playful. "Would you like me to arrange a room for you, Mr. Raging Bulls Owner?"

Shu blinked.

Paused.

Turned slowly.

And stared at him like he had just declared he was retiring from Beyblade to become a monk.

"…What?"

Valt's smile widened. "You know—so you can sleep comfortably. Without me."

Shu took one step forward.

Valt's smile twitched.

Shu took another step, until they were toe to toe.

"You think," Shu said quietly, his voice too calm, "that I flew halfway across the world, kissed you in front of the entire WBBA, glared down Free de la Hoya without blinking—just to sleep in a room that isn't yours?"

Valt innocently tilted his head. "I don't know. Maybe you want your privacy?"

"I don't want privacy. I want you valt. Preferably in nothing. In your bed. For the foreseeable future."

Valt blinked, his ears going pink. "Shu—!"

But Shu wasn't done.

He leaned in, voice lower, possessive and soft and burning.

> "And if you think I'd let you sleep more than three feet away from me after what happened on that flight? After you kissed me like that in front of Free?"

"Valt Aoi, I will physically move into your closet before I sleep in a different room."

Valt's jaw dropped in laughter. "You're unbelievable."

Shu smirked. "And you're adorable when you pretend you didn't plan that question just to mess with me."

Valt shrugged, smug. "Maybe I like it when you get all intense and territorial."

Shu raised a brow. "Be careful what you wish for."

Valt turned, still grinning, and opened the door to his suite. "Alright then, Mr. Possessive. Your room is ready."

Shu followed immediately.

"I own this room now."

"You own me too, I suppose?"

Shu smirked. "Glad we're on the same page."

Title: Crimson Threads of Fate

Pairing: Shu Kurenai × Valt Aoi

Scene: "This Is a Tour, Not a Honeymoon Suite—Shu!"

(Continuation)

---

Location: Valt's Private Suite – BC Sol Headquarters

Time: 12:30 PM – Disaster Zone: Romantic Tension

Valt pushed open the door to his private suite, flicking on the lights with a lazy wave of his hand. The room was sleek, minimalist but warm—with navy blue and silver accents, polished wood, and a large bed framed by a window that overlooked the blading stadium below.

Shu stepped in silently behind him. The second the door clicked shut—

Valt turned and gestured, trying for casual.

"This is the lounge area. The desk's over there, that leads to the private bath, and this—"

He pointed toward the sleek glass panels beside the bed.

"—is the closet. I had to expand it because of sponsorship uniforms."

"Hmm," Shu said vaguely, not looking at the closet. Or the desk. Or anything but Valt.

Valt's smile twitched. "Shu. You're not listening to a word I'm saying."

Shu took a slow, deliberate step forward.

"I heard enough," he murmured. "Closet. Bed. You."

Valt backed up slightly. "I—this is supposed to be a tour."

"It is a tour," Shu said, eyes sharp with barely-contained mischief. "I'm just choosing my favorite part of the scenery."

Valt's back hit the edge of the bed.

"Oh no."

"Oh yes."

Shu closed the distance like a panther, hands landing on either side of Valt's waist. He tilted his head, brushing his lips teasingly close to Valt's ear.

> "Do you really think I can stay in your room and not kiss you senseless every time you breathe?"

Valt turned red instantly. "Shu!"

"You're blushing again," Shu murmured. "That's my favorite."

"I'm blushing because I can hear your thoughts, and I'm trying to be professional—!"

Shu leaned closer, breath brushing Valt's neck.

"Let me ruin that professionalism. Just a little."

Valt's resolve cracked the second Shu's hands slid under the hem of his shirt.

And then Shu did exactly what Valt feared (and maybe secretly wanted):

He kissed him.

Hard. Shameless. Like he wanted the walls to know whose room this was. Whose lips these were.

Valt's hands gripped the front of Shu's shirt as he tried to breathe. "You said you'd behave."

"I lied," Shu growled, his voice low and dangerous. "You should know better by now baby."

Valt Chuckles and kisses back deeper. "Mmm I went to America for championship meetings but ended up coming back with a hot prime boyfriend and ended up accidentally relocating his entire team on the way."

Shu laughs carrying valt bridal style on the bed with his red eyes full of love. "Best accident of my life ever jaan."

Outside the Suite – Hallway

Two junior bladers passed by, paused, and heard something.

One raised an eyebrow. "That sounded like—"

The other tugged his sleeve. "Don't ask. Don't listen. Just run."

---

Location: Valt's Suite – BC Sol Headquarters

Time: 12:41 PM – Not a Drill. This Is Escalation.

Valt's breath hitched as Shu's lips trailed along his jaw, every kiss deliberate, almost possessive. The warmth of Shu's touch was addicting—gentle, but with that underlying fire that always made Valt's stomach flip.

"Shu," he muttered, half-warning, half-inviting.

"Mm?" Shu murmured, sounding far too pleased with himself.

Valt had been so busy blushing he hadn't noticed Shu's hand sneak down to his thigh until it suddenly tugged—and just like that, Valt lost his balance and fell backward onto the bed.

"Shu—!"

The smirk that spread across Shu's face was dangerous.

"Oops," he said, far too innocently, crawling over Valt with all the calm of a man absolutely not sorry.

Valt's cheeks were flaming, his lips trying not to twitch into a smile, but that didn't stop him from groaning and covering his face.

"I can hear you thinking again," Valt muttered behind his hands. "You're loud, Shu."

Shu leaned in, nose brushing against Valt's. "Oh? What exactly am I thinking?"

Valt groaned again, flustered. "That you're going to 'make me forget how to walk straight,' that the bed is now a 'battlefield of love,' and that—OH MY GOD—'my hips won't be leaving unclaimed territory.'"

Shu grinned like a man thoroughly enjoying his downfall. "Sounds accurate."

Valt narrowed his eyes playfully. "You're awful."

"You like it," Shu replied, brushing his lips over Valt's again. "In fact, I think you were waiting for me to throw you on this bed."

"Please," Valt scoffed, but the blush on his ears betrayed him. "I was being a responsible adult."

"Mm. You were poking the bear. And now the bear is going to kiss you until your brain forgets words."

Valt rolled his eyes. "You're unbelievable."

Shu leaned closer, his hands bracing beside Valt's head.

"And you, Valt Aoi, are mine."

With that, he kissed him again—deep, slow, and utterly devastating. Valt's fingers curled into Shu's shirt instinctively, and any witty retort he might've had crumbled into a soft, breathless noise.

Each kiss was more intense than the last, and Valt could barely keep up—not that he wanted to.

---

Somewhere in the back of his mind, Valt remembered that the entire BC Sol staff was probably waiting for a captain's briefing, or an afternoon training session—

But all of that?

Faded.

With Shu's hand on his waist, breath warm against his skin, and his thoughts still hilariously loud, Valt realized something:

> There's no winning with Shu Kurenai.

Only surrender. Beautiful, dizzying surrender.

And Valt was more than okay with that.

To be continued…

(Next: News spreads that Shu is definitely not in his assigned guest room, and BC Sol becomes divided between thirsty fans and terrified trainees. Meanwhile, Shu insists he can "train" with Valt shirtless. For bonding purposes, obviously.)
