At Reggie's house, Kazuma and Kito were sitted on the couch, Kito looked at the time "Isn't this taking a bit too long?", he asked himself. Reggie walked out of the elevator and took a stretch "AHH!", he yawned, Kazuma and Kito looked at him "Reggie sensei, are you done...?", Kito asked. Reggie smirked and replied "Yep. Come take a look.". Kazuma blinked with confusion while Kito smirked. Kito, Kazuma and Reggie where in the elevator, they where going down into Reggie's lab. Kazuma couldn't help but to wonder to himself "An elevator in a house? That's pretty decent. I heard this Reggie guy is incharge of the science departments in the city, or atleast a few of them. Not just that, but he's pretty know for creating powerful weapons and devices. He seems pretty cool.". The elevator had finally reached the lab, Kito, Kazuma and Reggie walked out of the elevator. Kazuma looked around and saw the huge lab around him that was white in colour, the lights were white and the floor tiles were also white. Not just that, but there was atleast 3 tables with wires and unfinished projects, Kazuma thought to himself "Wow, this place is huge. It looks like an actual science facility.". Kito then asked "So, where's is it?", Reggie responded as he walked over to his work table that had a purple mechanical arm laying on it "It's over here.". Kazuma and Kito walked after Reggie who took a seat infront of his desk, Reggie picked up the mechanical arm and started to tighten some screws. Kazuma looked at the mechanic arm "A robot arm?", he asked himself, Reggie faced Kazuma while holding the device "Kazuma, stretch out your hand.", he said. Kazuma stretch his hand out for Reggie to place the mechanic arm on his. As soon as Reggie wore the purple mechanic arm on Kazuma, he turned on a small switch under the arm. Suddenly, a huge burst of power surged from the robotic arm, this burts of power made Kazuma and Kito stunned "Huh?!", they both exclaimed. Reggie smirked "Ah, it worked, that's good.", he explained "That mechanical arms right there is what I like to call [SHALVERON.]. It's a robotic arm that multiplies it's users energy by 5 at max output.". Kito was extremely stunned on seeing the level of energy surging out of the robotic arm "5 times? Are you kidding?", Reggie continued to explain "Not just that, but it gives your attacks a boost in the speed department too. Just as how your energy is boosted by 5 times, your maximum speed should also he boosted by 5 times when activated. Sounds good, right?". Kazuma couldn't help but to feel shocked too, he wondered to himself "Wow, this... this is awesome! So you're telling me I can use my overall strength and multiply it with this? Awesome!". Reggie snapped his finger, this caused the device to shut off, Kazuma blinked "It turned off?", Kito also blinked "Wow, did it run low on power or something?.", both boys wondered to themselves. Reggie explained to them "Kazuma, since your nerves were practically destroyed on your left arm, I made the robotic arm with nerve like wires to support your arm movement.", he crossed his legs and continued to explain "I was able to memories the nerves that were destroyed and the one's that were intact. So, I created some wires to help fill the gap of the nerves you lost. Since we humans amplify our bodies with energy 90 percent of the time, the robotic arm is going work as your actual arm and do the things you want it to do when adding energy to it. Even if you don't use energy to control it, it's still going to pick up electric signals from your brain and do what you want it to do.". Kito then tried understanding what Reggie had just said "So in other words, it just provide's temporary help until Kazuma's actually arm gets healed.", he thought in his head. Kito asked "Hey, Reggie sensei. How long would it take for Kazuma's arm to completely heal?", Reggie started to think "Hm, well 55 percent of the arm which included some major nerves got destroyed, which means the other 45 pecent is the only things that's left working. So if Kazuma were to constantly treat and exercise the arm consistently, it should take about 8 months to get it fixed.". Kito and Kazuma were stunned "Huh?!", Kazuma muttered, Kito yelled with worry "EIGHT MONTHS? THAT'S TOO DAMN LONG!", Reggie took on a playful face and giggled "Well that's what it seems.". He leaned on his table and explained "Normally, the medical team can heal body injuries in mere seconds, some are skilled enough to recreat lost limbs. But because of the amount of power and heat Kazuma used to destroy his arm, they could only save the necessary nerves and blood vessels that didn't take much damage, or the one's they could heal.", Kito just sighed "Ah, what a pain.". Kazuma was just taking a look at the robotic arm, he noticed on the back of its palm, there was a cirlcle with patterns above it. Reggie told Kazuma "That cirlcle, I left it for aesthetic purposes. It's supposed to roll when when you apply energy into it. You like it?", Kazuma replied "Yeah, I do. Thanks, really. I really appreciate you taking your time to give me this.", Reggie replied and waved his hand in a playful manner "Ah, it's fine, it's fine. I'm happy to help you, really.". Kito then smirked "Well, we should be leaving now. Thanks for helping Kazuma with his arm Reggie.", he grabbed Kazuma by the shoulders as they both went into the elevator "Bye", Kito said, Kazuma thanked again "Thank you for the arm.". The elevator took the boys up. Reggie couldn't help but to have a smile on his face "Yeah, no problem.", he opened his eyes "Hm, Kito and Kazuma seem like the kind of friends that won't let go of each other no matter what. I'm glad kids these days have each others backs like that. Really, it makes me glad.", Reggie said to himself.
