What's up?", Brenda told her "I forgot to tell you this but... Marallda Balsary just woke up.", Rimeta's eyes widened "Are you serious?!". That same day, Gwen rushed all the way to the hospital after seeing a message on her phone saying "Gwen Star. Your friend, Marallda Balsary just woke up!". Gwen was just running accross the hall "I can't believe it! She's awake! Marallda....! Marallda! You're okay!", Gwen rushed to Marallda's hospital room and opened the door "MARALLDA!", she called out to her friend. When she opened the door, she saw Marallda sitted on the bed reading an alphabet book while Brenda was standing beside her and taking notes. Brenda looked at Gwen "Oh, I see. You must be her friend.", Gwen walked in "I'm Gwen Star! I'm friends with Marallda here.", she introduced herself. Brenda replied "Oh, I see. That's good.", Gwen looked at Marallda with a face of relief "Marallda, you're actually awake.", Marallda on the other hand blinked at her before smiling, she didn't say a word, this made Gwen slightly intrigued "Huh?". Brenda then explained to Gwen "Gwen Star, was it? Your friend seems to be doing fine. Not just that, but the way she responds to things is surprisingly better than before. But there's just one problem.", Gwen asked "What's the problem?", Brenda explained "Marallda has lost her ability to properly speak. She can only make some certain nosies with her voice.", this made Gwen shocked "She can't speak...?". Brenda continued to talk to Gwen "The right side of the brain helps to process information and retains memory. Not just that, it also helps individuals to sense things too. When she woke up, she seemed to be confused, but later got herself on track. Not just that, but we gave her some exercises that included her writing numbers and letters. She seems to still retain basic knowledge, but her ability to speak isn't working properly.". Gwen was emotionally down after hearing what Brenda had just said "Are you for real.....?", Brenda placed her hand on Gwen's shoulder and comforted her with a smile on her face "It's okay. Marallda is going to be just fine.". Gwen looked like she was about to cry "Oh, if you say so.", she responded. She walked over to Marallda "Hey, Marallda. How are you? Does your head hurt....?", suddenly, Marallda hugged Gwen with tears coming down from her eye. Gwen started to cry too "I'm so... happy..(Sniff). I'm so happy you're.... okay....!". Both she and Marallda started to cry together, Brenda just smiled softly and walked out of the room "I'll give you both your space.". After she walked out, she turned to her left "So? Has your guilt died now?", she asked. Rimeta was on her left holding her chest with a smile on her face while tears dropped down her eyes "Yes... it has..!", Brenda smiled at her student "Hm, guess you do have a heart.".
