As Kazuma and Yuji were walking through the streets of the abandoned city where they fought their teacher, both boys were quiet, allowing the night wind to blow on them. Kazuma asked "Hey, Yuji. How do you feel about all this?", Yuji looked at him "How do I feel about what?", he responded with a little bit of irritation. Kazuma explained "I mean, about this entire thing. The whole training camp thing and stuff.", Yuji paused for a moment "Hm... I don't know. I actually don't really care, I just do what I have to do. If you ask me, I'd say they're just trying to prepare us for later missions that are more deadly.", Kazuma looked at him "You think so?", he asked. Yuji while being tired, clicked his tounge "What else do you think? Offcourse it's for more dangerous missions ahead.", Kazuma sighed before asking "Hey, Yuji. Have you ever thought that maybe.....", Yuji looked at Kazuma "Maybe what?". Kazuma smiled softly "Nothing, I'll keep that to myself.", Yuji raised a brow "If you say so.". Later, at the boys dorms, Volt and White were looking at Kazuma and Yuji with expressions of surprise, Kazuma and Yuji on the other hand, had dry looks on their faces. White immediately started laughing "HAHAHAHAH! WHAT THE HELL! YOU LOOK MORE BEAT UP THAN USUAL!", Volt on the other hand was trying to hold his laughter. Kazuma and Yuji with their look of uninterest muttered amongst each other "To be honest, seeing White laugh like this scares me.", Kazuma said, Yuji muttered in response "Yeah. For some reason, I wanna slash em.", he looked at Volt trying to hold his laughter "HEY! WHY THE HELL ARE YOU LAUGHING?!", Yuji yelled at Volt. A few minutes go by, White, Kazuma, Yuji and Volt were all sitted on their beds, White asked "Was it that hard?" Kazuma responded "You have no idea. I actually don't want to talk much about it, but whatever.". Yuji blinked "Hey, where's Kito?", the rest of the boys paused "Wait a minute, where is Kito?", Kazuma asked. Kito walked right into the room, his hands covered with bandages, and his face filled with dried bruises that had healed "What the hell happened to you?", Volt asked. Kito walked all the way to his bed, dropped the bad he brought along with him and just layed there and fell asleep without a word. Kazuma looked at Kito "I don't even wanna know the kind of horrors he faced.", all the other boys agreed "Yep.", "Totally.", "I actually don't care.", Volt, White and Yuji agreed. As Kito was almost asleep, he looked at the bag he had dropped before going to bed, he remembered waking up from the training grounds he and Kojin fought at. He got up, cleared his head and saw an advanced in technology blaster right in front of him. Kito looked confused and tired at the same time "Huh? What's this?", he looked at a note on the weapon that read "You weren't able to win, but you put up quite a fight. As a reward, here's an more advanced and powerful blaster as your weapon. Youre the only person in Kagahara that has this version, take good care of it.". After remembering all that, Kito's eyes, despite being faint, was able to think to himself "I got that as my reward, huh? Cool, can't wait to use it.". Meanwhile, at Fugaku's office, Kojin, Ranpo and Suzuha were all sitted before him "So, how did those kids do?", Fugaku asked. Suzuha started first "Volt Lightdevil was pretty impressive. He's definitely gotten stronger since the last time I saw him.". Kojin added his own experience "Well, the kid I fought was not bad. He had a decent way of showing off his psychopathy, and the way he fights is interesting. He's Reggie's student, so i shouldn't be surprised.", Ranpo teased "Oh? Acknowledging someone, are we? Looks like you're starting to change, Kojin.", Kojin clicked his tounge with his voice growing annoyed "Shut up, Ranpo!". Fugaku turned to Ranpo "What of you, Ranpo? I'm aware you fought your students. How were they?", Ranpo chuckled for a moment before explaining "Kazuma and Yuji were really something. At first, Yuji focused more on fighting, while Kazuma focused more on running and avoiding me when he could. But after a while, they both started to set traps and create distraction. Kazuma ended up gaining more fire power, and his endurance spiked up.". Fugaku scoffed "I see, so you fought both your students with no mercy.", Kojin with a dry look on his face muttered "I'm surprised you didn't break all their bones.", Ranpo muttered in response "I'm surprised you didn't kill your opponent by accident.", Suzuha joined "You guys, not now.". Fugaku scoffed with a mild smirk on his face "Hm, that's good. Now, I know what young assassins I need to carry out our next missions. Our generator boxes are being stolen from our science bases, my guess is that Fragmell is using some of the counties he's allied with to pull off these tricks.", Fugaku's eyes became serious "And we're going to fight back. Get your boys prepared, Ranpo. I'll definitely need them for this mission, I'll go ahead and tell Reggie im using his student for this mission.". Ranpo smirked "I think they'll already know what to do.". One week later, Kazuma and the rest of his friends were in their rooms. Kazuma was staring to put on his clothes and getting himself ready, Yuji was sharpening his daggers as well as taking a few guns, and Kito was also preparing his elemental guns, a few bombs of his, as well as his daggers. Volt asked "A mission for you three, huh? From how it looks, you all seem to be taking this very seriously.". Yuji looked at Volt "Who wouldn't take this seriously? It's a C-rank mission, not some D-rank mission.", Kito packed up "Yep, Yuji's right, Volt. We've got to take this mission seriously, otherwise things can go really badly.". Kazuma properly adjusted his hoodie, put on some of his gloves and dusted himself, he smirked "Alright, since we're already clear on how things would play out, I guess the only thing to do now is stick to the plan.". White looked at Kito, Kazuma and Yuji "Good luck. You better come back alive.", Kito with a plain expression on his face, Kazuma with a confident smirk, and Yuji with an uninterested expression looked back. Kazuma responded, his smirk growing more confident "Who do you think you're talking too? Offcourse we're going to come back. No doubt about it.".
