Both Dumbledore and Grindelwald believed that Kyle possessed the ability to control the Obscurus, so they did not dwell on the topic.
"Those wizards who attacked you—do you have any suspicions?" A flash of tyrannical, murderous intent flickered in Grindelwald's eyes.
For such a thing to happen right under the noses of the two ceiling-level wizards, the enemy had truly torn the dignity right off their faces, thrown it to the ground, stomped on it several times, and even pissed on it.
If they didn't find the culprit, use a Time-Turner to kill them tens of thousands of times back and forth, and then mix their ashes into feed to throw to the pigs, Grindelwald would never be able to appease the hatred in his heart.
Kyle shrugged. "Judging by their actions, they probably wanted to capture me alive."
"I expect they wanted to use me as a hostage to blackmail one of you two."
Kyle cast a suspicious glance at Grindelwald. "Could it be that one of your old enemies has come knocking on the door?"
Grindelwald's face darkened. Kyle's speculation was highly reasonable, which also meant the probability of him having to shoulder this blame was exceptionally high.
Dumbledore, who had taken a punch to the face earlier, gave a soft snort.
"I seem to recall someone arranging more than twenty Acolytes around Hogwarts."
Hearing Dumbledore's words, Grindelwald's face grew even darker. "They were also held back by the enemy."
Dumbledore shrugged noncommittally.
Watching the two old men bickering again, lines of exasperation appeared all over Kyle's head.
Hey, hey, hey, your son just recovered, and you're already at it again?
Grindelwald crossed his arms, looking coldly at Dumbledore. "Once the Christmas holidays are over, I'll deploy a few hundred more men over here."
Kyle looked at his Dark Lord father rather speechlessly.
Are you planning to send people to protect my safety, or are you looking for an excuse to seize the opportunity to level the British wizarding world?
Speaking of Christmas… By the way, how long had he been unconscious?
Right now, the night was thick outside the window, so it was clearly nighttime, but he didn't know the exact date or whether Christmas had already passed.
He had even prepared a gift for Dumbledore and Grindelwald that they would absolutely love.
"Dad, has Christmas passed yet?"
Hearing Kyle's question, the two bickering old men temporarily set aside their dispute.
"Today happens to be Christmas Day," Grindelwald said, producing a beautifully wrapped gift box from somewhere. "Merry Christmas."
Dumbledore also placed a gift box onto Kyle's bedside table.
Oh? Christmas? Missing Christmas Eve means I've been unconscious for two and a half days.
"Dad, could you please help hand me my ninja tool pouch?"
Kyle was currently wearing hospital pajamas, and he didn't know where Dumbledore and Grindelwald had put his ninja tool pouch. The gifts he had prepared for the two old men were inside it.
Dumbledore stood up and temporarily left the Hospital Wing. He returned shortly, holding a flip-top leather pouch that was barely larger than a palm.
Taking the ninja tool pouch, Kyle fumbled around inside it for a long while before finally pulling two massive gift boxes, a full 1.8 meters tall, out of a corner.
Seeing the two fathers take the boxes and look ready to open them, Kyle hastily stopped them.
Are you kidding? Can the things inside these boxes be opened here?
The gifts Kyle had prepared for his two tsundere fathers were both 1.8-meter-tall body pillows.
That's right, body pillows, the kind featuring artwork.
The pillow for Grindelwald had Dumbledore drawn on it.
The one for Dumbledore was the exact opposite.
As everyone knew, pictures in the wizarding world could move.
This way, when Grindelwald and Dumbledore went to sleep every night, even if one was in Britain and the other was far away in France, they would still be able to feel their old lover's affectionate gaze.
To fall asleep embracing one's beloved under their gaze full of love—what a beautiful thing that would be.
With these body pillows, Kyle dared to say that the intimacy between his two fathers would absolutely skyrocket, and their sleep quality would be superb.
It was just that this stuff wasn't suitable to be opened right now.
Look at where they were.
The Hospital Wing!
On the second floor of the castle!
Even if they took the magical elevator on the third floor back to the Headmaster's office, they still had to cross an entire floor.
Although most of the Hogwarts students had gone home, don't forget that there were still a massive number of magical portraits inside the castle.
Two old men walking through the corridors, cradling full-sized body pillows of each other, under the watchful eyes of rows upon rows of magical portraits…
The headline of tomorrow's Daily Prophet would be about the two of them.
If that really happened, Kyle felt that as an Obscurial, he definitely wouldn't live past 1994.
So it was better to let these two old geezers go back before opening the boxes.
Casting a suspicious glance at their mischievous son, neither Dumbledore nor Grindelwald knew what trick he had up his sleeve.
Just then—
"Kyle…"
A subconscious dream-murmur echoed in the room.
Hermione's brow was furrowed tightly in her sleep, her delicate face still filled with deep worry, her hands unconsciously gripping the blanket tightly.
Kyle stood up and walked over to Hermione's bedside, sitting down softly beside the girl, afraid of making a large noise that might disturb her.
Carefully brushing his fingers over the girl's tightly knitted brow, a flash of tenderness surfaced in the depths of Kyle's eyes.
"I'm here, don't be afraid," he said softly.
As if sensing Kyle's presence, Hermione's furrowed brow slowly smoothed out, and the worried expression on her face softened as well.
Seeing this scene, Grindelwald and Dumbledore both very tactfully left the Hospital Wing, leaving the space for Kyle and Hermione.
Gazing at Hermione's face so close at hand, Kyle slowly lowered his head, lightly kissing the girl's smooth forehead like a dragonfly skimming the water.
"I won't let you come to any more harm."
Without making a sound, Kyle stepped into the center of the room.
Summoning Jutsu!
Like a piece of black slime, Black Zetsu crawled out from the center of the formation, slithering slowly and casually across the floor before crawling out of the Hospital Wing.
A few minutes later, Black Zetsu returned, its manifested tendrils carrying a brown leather suitcase.
Slipping into the suitcase, Kyle arrived inside the alchemy laboratory where he had previously created the Six Paths of Pain.
Inside the alchemy laboratory, which resembled a combination of a biochemical lab and a factory workshop, the Six Paths of Pain were lying like corpses across six experimental tables lined up against the wall.
During yesterday's battle, they had sustained significant damage.
Physical damage was easy to heal, but having their magic drained completely until absolutely nothing remained—that was the most troublesome part.
This required a long period of recuperation to prevent them from becoming ruined and turning into vegetables.
Fortunately, there were no missions requiring their deployment anytime soon; it would be enough as long as they could recover before White Zetsu's bodies finished incubating.
Standing in the center of the laboratory, Kyle felt the incredibly abundant Obscurus magic within his body, and his hands, which hung at his sides, slowly raised outward horizontally.
Following his movement, the space of the entire laboratory began to tremble.
Infused with what could be described as endless magic, the walls around the laboratory rapidly receded.
In the blink of an eye, the area of the laboratory expanded from its original one thousand square meters to several hectares.
With a wave of his wand, large cylindrical glass jars were duplicated one after another. These were the same cultivation pods Kyle had used previously when employing cloning technology to manufacture the Six Paths of Pain.
An invisible blade sliced across Kyle's palm, and crimson blood gushed out, dripping into a flask.
After collecting a small half-flask of blood, the light of a healing charm flashed by, and the blood stopped flowing.
Kyle handed the flask to Black Zetsu beside him.
"Initiate Project Insight ahead of schedule…"
Paying no further attention to Black Zetsu, Kyle left the suitcase directly and returned to the Hospital Wing.
Pushing his bed together with Hermione's, he gently pulled the blanket up a bit for the girl. Kyle just sat on his bed, his eyes softly watching the girl's face, waiting for the long night to pass.
