"Oh. You are already here." Onoki said as he looked at Kagami who was already meditating in the early morning.
Of course, Kagami was not meditating because he sought inner peace.
But because Onoki tells him that the best way to increase the amount of Chakra he can store in his body is to train both his body and mind.
The way to train his body was to do physical exercises that help him build muscles and stamina while the best way to train his mind was to keep it at ease which can be accompanied by meditating.
Kagami opened his eyes and saw Onoki looking at him while floating in the air.
However, he also noticed a teenage boy with long yellow hair standing beside Onoki.
"I have to introduce you to someone," Onoki said.
"This is Kagami." He said as he introduced Kagami to the yellow-haired boy who was standing beside him.
"And Kagami, this is Deridara. He is my first student and your senior." Onoki then introduced Deridara to Kagami.
"I heard you are very talented. Have a spar with me. I want to see how you managed to impress the old man." Deridara said to Kagami, looking at him with a smirk on his face.
"Didn't I tell you to address me as the master?" Onoki said as he glared at Deridara.
"And it's still too early for him to spar with you. Kagami just started his training." Onoki said to Deridara.
After accepting Kagami as his official student Onoki found out that Kagami despite being able to be considered as a genius is lacking in a few areas.
Which is why he didn't let him spar with Deridara.
Kagami only started officially receiving ninjutsu and Taijutsu training a few weeks before he started the academy.
And before that have very limited training in both of those areas.
Because of that his body was weak and not suited for combat.
Secondly, although Kagami's chakra pool is quite large for someone who has rarely trained and is still in his teenage years but it is still incomparable to Deridara's.
Not to mention that Kagami doesn't even know about Genjutsu let alone being able to use it.
The spar between the two of them would basically be like hitting a rock with an egg.
"Since both of you will be training together you have to look after him." Onoki then said to Deridara.
"All right, I get it, old man," Deridara replied, but he did not seem to take what Onoki said to heart.
"Kagami, have you received the scrolls that I sent to your house?" Onoki then said.
"Yes. Lord Tsuchikage." Kagami replied.
After Kagami accepted to be his disciple Onoki asked a trusted Jonin from the village to prepare a few Jutsu below B rank alongside one B rank jutsu called "Added Wight Rock technique" so that the boy could learn some of them.
Onoki would have compiled the scrolls himself and trained Kagami himself if he could but as the Tsuchikage he didn't have much time.
So he told Kagami to learn it himself and ask other Jonins and Chunins from the village for guidance if he ever gets stuck on something.
He also told Kagami to improve the condition of his body and try to increase his Chakra.
Kagami was still lacking in basics so trying to personally teach him right now will only waste his time.
Of course that doesn't mean Kagami would be negelated since as the student of the Tauchikage he could have more resources and more help from veteran Shinobis that a normal shinobi could not ever get.
