Chapter 6 - Chapter 5 - Caleb

Why is that he always shines through these lenses of a child like me, why is that he trembles the world I walk in to? A gentle tremble that destroys foundation of boundaries towards freedom, towards you.

"My name is Caleb, Mimosa."

"And I am Enuen!"

Then flowers of hibiscus blooms from the earth he stands, it is as if they loved him in his presence. He was that gentle, my Mimosa.

"Then let's do our adventure together!"

He flashed me with that smile.

"Mimosa..."

Then earth once more carried us towards something bigger, something more extravagant, the sea. We were submerged by the longing of the earth and endless water; I saw different creatures that were unseen by the naked eye. Mermaids swam with us, fishes of new species. There was a violet flower like fins swimming with us, a school that freely circled. The bubbles fizzed as were breathed out. Enuen with these motions of his hands creating a whirlpool that pushed us out of the sea laughing as we float on the air.

"Look at that Caleb!"

"Huh?"

we landed and rode on the backs of a big whale.

'I thought this whale was deemed extinct in the books? The whale that soared the sky wherever they wanted.'

I remembered a vivid memory of myself reading in silence where comfort dwells in being alone, I saw, I read and I touched the papers that had writings and illustrations. I deemed it as a fairy tale, but to think that they still existed was the evidence of fortitude and endurance of nature living not from our world, but from other worlds.

'I want to see more; I want to feel more of the world you live in.'

You were the trance on the world where I felt lonely.

"Let's ride!"

I nodded.

I was so happy to spend this time with you, the whales then flew, the winds we stride blew to us. Laughter and happiness in sync. The two whales with markings of the winds scattered something that cloaked us both and they formed together like the koi fish that formed the yin and yang, Eneun was below and I was the above and in the middle our sights became one in a linear stroke of destiny.

They intertwined together as they flew, they guided us too, a wind guiding experience.

"Can you show me more?"

'Are you having fun robin?'

Enuen flinched and fell down on his butt.

Funny.

"It talked!"

"It did?"

'Can you hear me human?'

"W-woah?!"

Surprised, I fell down to my butt too, who knew they were really that talking not externally but internally telepathic. It was amazing.

"Did you hear that Enuen?"

"I sure did!"

'What is your name human?'

"U-uhm Caleb! my name is Caleb!"

'What a great name you have.'

"T-thank you! not anyone has said that to me before."

Suddenly the ride to their backs started on a halt. We stopped by on little floating island just enough to keep us both. We hopped towards it. In the middle the earth formed a gate with white hibiscus blooming swiftly.

"Thank you for letting us hop for a ride!"

'It is our pleasure to serve the child of the earth, think none of it.'

"mhm!"

Enuen pulled me towards the gate with dim light of rainbow quartz color showing up like a magical doorway. Although I didn't know where I was headed. I looked at the whales of wind, the Gnont whales. I wanted to ask one more question, but that very same question was erased to very time we leaped in the portal and from that my curiosity to my question vanished.

'Are they gone now?'

They submerged in the shallows to the deep sea their eyes looked upon each other with their thoughts linked as one, they somehow understood.

'To think that I was able to live through it.'

'Mhm, that child...the one that rode on your back...I'm sensing odor of the past omen that came from the deep.'

Her eyes mildly closed and looked back.

'I sensed and lived through it, I thought that giving them a ride was safe, thankfully the forces of nature were against it.'

'You are correct, if they didn't have the will, you could've been gurgling by now haha.'

Her fins flapped in amusement.

'Stop that, that is kind of rude to the child. It's just, it's been so long since the past Caressing Earth Maiden has been felt by us, ever since that day we swore to wait for the next generation of the Earth's daughter however it seems that fate has created another scheme and that we can't answer.'

'That is true, not us who lived long enough can answer the events that is being unfolded. Perhaps nigh is the end coming near or the beginning of life nigh again to be still and flourish. This time if death truly wishes, I'll gladly lay down my life to his embrace.'
