LEON P.O.V
I entered the room to find him sitting on the bed looking at me still wearing his hospital gown, I noticed his droopy eyes were amethyst purple with an undertone of red. He turned his face towards me with a small smile on his lips as I sat down.
I turned my head in his direction and looked him dead in the eye. I looked at him with a straight face, "I need to ask you some questions and I want nothing but the truth."
His smile widened, his eyes glowing with interest as he said with a deep voice, "Sure, you were the one who saved me after all."
Still keeping my straight face I got to the point, "What is your name?"
He hummed slightly, "Alex."
I questioned while raising an eyebrow, "No surname?"
He flashed a grin showing his fangs, "None I know of."
I Sat up, "Why did you appear on our border, half alive at that?"
That annoying grin stayed on his face but the light in his eyes dimmed, "They were rouge wolves that wanted to kidnapped me, so I accidentally ran into your territory to hide then fell unconscious from exhaustion. Then you found me and here I am."
I knew he was keeping secrets, but this much information was enough for me for now. I knew he was suspicious but he didn't look like he would harm anyone, and I had this feeling he wouldn't harm us.
Our conversation was cut short when Emily came in the room and walked towards us.
Her face was serious as she asked, "So what do we do with him?"
I faced her, "I think we should allow him to stay. I feel he wont do anything wrong, but to make sure nothing goes wrong he'll stay in my wing of the pack house."
Emily looked worried, she mind-linked me, 'Are you sure?'
I continued what I was saying, "To ensure nothing goes wrong, we'll give him enough blood to keep him alive but not enough to allow him to use his abilities, the last thing we need is a vampire on the loose. After enough observation we'll allow him to leave or stay, his choice."
Although I was saying this while looking at Emily, I meant it for the two of them. I stood up to leave, but before I left I told Emily to ensure he knows of pack rules and to keep his identity as a vampire secret. The whole time Alex was just looking at he two of us without speaking.
I left the hospital and went to the pack house to rest cause I was dead tired. When I arrived to the pack house, the other pack members seeing me greeted with a slight bow.
As I went forward to my own wing of the pack house, the number of people reduced. The reason I had a whole wing to myself was because my ruts were not scheduled and also tended to be too violent, it was to keep me from harming anyone. I was only able to keep myself sane enough not to leave my wing.
I went to the far side of the wing where my room was, I opened the door and entered. My room felt stuffy, but I ignored the feeling as I moved to my bed and lied down.
I lied there for some time not falling asleep, the purple eyes coming to my mind. For some reason they kept popping into my head, and I found it quite annoying.
Unable to fall asleep I Talked to raven, "What do you think about Alex?"
Raven, after leaving for a while said, "I think what you did is fair, besides I don't feel any repulsion towards him so it's okay."
After a few minutes of silence I heard him ask, "Do you think we will have another chance to love someone?"
I answered honestly, "I don't know."Then all was silent as I fell asleep in my own thoughts.
EMILY P.O.V
Today has been more than stressful and it was made worse by this annoying shithead. I saw how when Leon was in the room he was all smiley, but immediately he left that smile left his face, it was then replaced by an indifferent look.
It was as if the asshole looked down on me. I got his clothes and took him out of the hospital and drove him to the pack house, as I was driving I filled him in on the rules,
"You shouldn't attack anyone if you want to be alive and well."
"Sure"
"I will be coming secretly to give you your blood weekly."
"Sure"
By this time he was getting on my nerves and I was not liking this, I tried to calm down by thinking about my mate.
"If you sense anything wrong in Leon's side remember to run to me as fast as possible."
When I mentioned this, I finally got his attention. He turned his neck towards me as he asked, "What's going to happen?"
I sighed and rolled my eyes as I explained "Something bad happened and now any time my brother is in rut he becomes uncontrollably vicious and will attack anyone he sees, the worst part is that no one knows when it will happen not even him so you need to be careful."
The car fell silent as he fell deep into thought, and I didn't want to continue talking with him.
We arrived at the pack house as we came down. I led him towards his room, the pack members seemed curious about the handsome pale skinned man.
I walked down the hallway and led him towards Leon's side of the house. When we reached there I turned and told him, "You can choose any room you want all of them are fully furnished, someone will come later to give you a change of clothes. You should feel free to roam around the pack house but you cannot leave without the alphas permission."
He nodded at me with that insufferable look on his face and looked around. I just straight up left him and went back. I mean, what are the odds he will go to Leon's room.
LEON P.O.V
I woke up to the sound of someone entering my room, I sat up only to realize it was Alex.
I stood up and went to meet him and said drowsily, "What are you doing in my room?"
The man looked down at me with a small smile on his lips, "Oh sorry to disturb you, I was looking for a room to stay in and accidentally disturbed you."
I was a little angry at his disturbance, but seeing his face the anger quickly washed away."You are forgiven, now leave me alone and find a place to stay."
Shockingly the man said, "Can I stay in a room next to you?"
surprised I asked, "Why?"
He responded, "I'm not comfortable without staying close someone."
I looked at him from his head to his toes, I wondered how a big vampire like this could be afraid. I did not think much of it because I realized he could not do much because of lack of blood.
"Hm...you can sleep in the room next to mine."
I saw as his face brightened up almost immediately and narrowed my eyes suspiciously. Before I could open my mouth to say anything he went inside his room and closed the door. I just shrugged and went back inside my room.
I couldn't sleep back, so I decided to take a shower. I removed the joggers around my waist and went into the bathroom.
When I came out I heard Emily mind-link me, 'Leon, dinner is ready come down and eat. Oh and call that ass- I mean Alex to come too."
'Okay, we'll be right there.'
I then went to meet Alex in his room, then I knocked on his door. When he opened the door he seemed shocked to see me. I looked at him and said, "Emily wants us to go downstairs to eat dinner, so get ready to meet every one since you'll be here for some time."
He seemed surprised because he stuttered, "S-sure...I'll be r-right down"
I gave him a good look before I went back to my room to change into better clothes. I left my hair down and just wore a tank top with a pair of shorts. After a couple of minutes I came out of the room to see Alex waiting for me.
Puzzled I asked him, "Why did you wait for me? You could have gone down yourself."
He had a smile playing on his lips as he said, "It's just because I wanted to and besides it would be better if we go down together so you can introduce me"
I narrowed my eyes at him, then just went past him in the direction of the dining hall. I heard foot steps behind me as I walked
