JADE P.O.V
I sat at the table next to Emily as I saw Leon come down into the dining room with Alex following behind him, Emily explained what happened at the hospital. I felt pity for the human to be injured like that, but I also felt His behaviour towards Leon was strange. Emily said that when Leon left the hospital the guy was somewhat unresponsive, only showing interest in things related to Leon.
At first I thought she was just blowing up the whole matter, but now that I'm seeing it for my self I couldn't help but widen my eyes in shock.
The guy was practically glued to Leon at the hip, having that sickening smile on his face. I watched as he sat next to Leon at the table looking at only him, I narrowed my eyes at them.
My eyes went to meet Emily's as she looked at me. I decided to mind-link her. 'I can see what your talking about now.'
Emily almost let out a groan of frustration, 'I know, but he becomes a totally different type of person when Leon's not there.'
I turned my eyes back to them, 'maybe this type of person can make Leon brighten up, he looks persistent enough."
Emily looked offended though, "Nah..I don't trust him.'
We cut our conversation short as Leon stood up to address everyone at the table.
THIRD PERSON P.O.V
Leon stood up looking at every one at the table, every one was curious as to who this newcomer was. The table was filled mostly unmated pack members and some couples, it was not a must for them to stay some chose to stay while others rented a house nearby for privacy.
He cleared his throat and then spoke, "I think everyone is confused about the newcomer, and I think I should introduce him to you all."
Everyone turned their eyes to Alex and their gaze went back to Leon, urging him to continue.
"His name name his Alex, we found him at the border injured. We fixed him up, but he needs more time to be fully healed so I decided he will stay with us."
Again everyone's eyes moved back towards Alex, who got the cue and said, "Hello everyone, my name Alex it's nice to meet you."He said it with a smile, and with that handsome face most felt pity and accepted him. Emily didn't fall for it and almost gagged, Jade was more restrained and Leon seemed indifferent.
The remaining of the dinner was held in peace, with the chatter of the wolves sounding left and right. Emily was still glaring at Alex, but Jade managed to calm her down. Leon seemed absent minded as usual, and Alex still had a smile on his face but kept sending frequent looks at Leon.
LEON P.O.V
I closed the door to my room as I heaved a sigh of relief, I left the dinning room as fast ad I can and I just wanted some peace and quiet. I moved towards my bed and sat down. I carried my computer and started handling working but I let my mind wander.
I wasn't a fool, I noticed the way Alex looked at me. I was still suspicious, and I was curious as what his motive was by behaving like that. Honestly, I was tired of feeling hollow and wanted to find someone to love, but I just can't feel that way towards another person.
It was also extremely hard to find someone who could help me deal with my own rut, it was getting worse. Before it was normal, but after he rejected me it became increasingly worse.
I realized, ever since Alex came I've never thought about 'him'. I wondered, maybe I can move on from this after all.
As I was still in my thoughts, I heard the sound of a notification pulling me out of my thoughts.
I checked my phone and was pleasantly surprised to see it was demi, she wanted to see if we could go to the movies tomorrow and I agreed. I asked her what time and she replied 2'o clock. I fell asleep while checking the documents with all these thoughts circulating In my head.

I got up around eight and started to get ready, This time I let my hair flow without any restriction. As for my clothes I wore a casual grey t-shirt with jean trousers and I paired it with a diamond stud earring.
After I was ready, I passed Alex's room looking at it for a brief moment before going downstairs.
I went down to the living room and I saw Jade and Emily sitting together watching the TV, I couldn't help but feel a pain in my chest. I focused my thoughts and silently went out.
I went to the restaurant that Demi said we would meet at. As I entered I moved my eyes around, and I found her sitting at one of the tables and walked towards her.
Demi looked up and smiled when she saw me, I gave her a small smile back. As I sat down I decided to make small talk with her,
"It's nice that you remembered to call, I thought you decided I wasn't worth your time."
She feigned shock as she gently placed her had on her chest, "Why I would never do that, I actually like your company."
I gave her a small smile, "I like your company too, I say we enjoy our conversation with some food." with that I signalled to the waitress who came for our order.
We spent a majority of our time having a good discussion. It was already evening when we left. This time she let me drop her
I was tired as I came back home, talking with Demi was fun but it was a bit tiring. I walked towards my room and bumped into Alex, who was looking at me with angry eyes.
