Chapter 12 - Plans back on Track

Nazareth looked over the walls of Astapor as his kriegmen surrounded him in a protective circle. Jurten, to Nazareth's right, looked upon his 'god' with a question as to why he had taken him and the other soldiers to the walls of this city.

Over the crudely made stone walls of Astapor boars an endless desert, with it meeting the sea to its west. Beyond the walls lay the periodic piles of bodies, as slaves and Unsullied carried the dead and piled their still fresh and striped bodies upon one another, before lighting the piles on fire.

Jurten, watching this disorganised effort, had annoyance and disgust within his eyes, watching the barely classifiable dressed 'people' scavenge for better clothing. Never in his life, except for times at war on indescript planets, had he seen this type of savagery. Even in Hive Worlds' lowest points, in forgotten sub-levels and pipage—the width capable of fitting Leman tanks—

Even those mutants and heretics, however, had basic decency; even the servitors of the Mechanicus had decency, but these filthy 'people' below him had no such thing, and he had seen mutants and disgusting heretics eat one another.

Nazareth watched as piles of bodies were stripped of valuables again and again, leaving nothing but the flesh, before the bodies were burned in massive piles. Nazareth's mind flickered as to what was next on his agenda. Previously, when he was looking for loot within Krazyn's villa, he discovered that he could see corruption as he looked at the dead or dying slavers and guards.

Each slaver had types of purple within their souls, whilst the guards had red. A dead scholar slave, or something to that point, had blue and purple mixing. This discovery made Nazareth question whether the 'madness' the Targaryens had throughout his memories was caused by Chaos. So he marched to Daenerys and looked into her soul, only to find red and blue marking Daenerys' head, which greatly disrupted Naz, as this 'madness' was disruptive to his plan.

This plan was conceived when he was trapped within the white room in his mind. Devoid of anything but himself, this gave Naz's mind plenty of time to conjure plans as to what to do when he arrived in 'AGOT'. He thought of using Daenerys and her dragons to secure Westeros before once again marching on Essos and the ruins of Valyria.

His plan, though simple—just using Daenerys' wants and needs—had been changed repeatedly through his stay within his own mind.

Day after day, his mind worked to think of plans as to how her dragons and Dany could be used and discarded easily without any opposition to his rule. Though the periodic 'freezing' or 'halting' of his mind, from the lack of interactions, made his brain become fried, stopping his building of his plans.

However, when he watched the fight of the 'gods' almost six or so weeks ago, his brain became rejuvenated, and on his descent, he agreed within his mind to control Daenerys even with his body. Naz had watched as his body grew into a beautiful 'being', and using this body, he could easily sway Dany. The only problem was getting to Dany; however, luckily, his descent steered him towards where Drogo's pyre had been lit, and within the time frame of the dragons being born.

Although Naz didn't believe in fate in this life or his previous, that time within his mind and the fight of the 'gods' had really fucked his mind up. He knew that this arrangement couldn't be without reason, as all these strings merging could only be done by one being, even with his system being counted.

Ever since arriving in this world, Nazareth had felt like he was being watched, and from the earlier assassin or daemon that had attacked him—taking the form of Jorah—had only furthered his hysteria of another force from the immaterium working to control him. The system had even proven that another force was acting, with its prompt. However, this meant little, as Nazareth, within his mind, thought that with all these actions correlating, only a 'god' could manage this level of control and arrangement of Nazareth meeting Daenerys.

Now, however, since he had gained five loyal soldiers with a necrodermis necklace to boot, it had made Nazareth extremely happy, as this meant he could expand his plan even further. His men were indefinitely loyal, as the system had stated they viewed him as their 'god'. And being viewed as a 'god' made their devotion unbreakable.

Nazareth's plan originally was to follow Dany and collect points until becoming her husband or right-hand man, or even killing her and taking control of her dragons. (Yes, I know, quite dumb, but remember this was a 14 to 15-year-old, not a mastermind.) Ever since the fight of the Emperor and the Chaos Gods, knowledge of combat and military instinct made his previous plans pale in comparison to his newest one.

Nazareth turned to Jurten, with authority within his voice, and spoke to the man. "Jurten, you shall take Karl, Harry, and Will and go to Meereen and stake claim to it in my honour."

This sudden change in mission left Jurten dazed until, with a swift salute and kneeling towards Nazareth, Jurten replied, "It will be my life goal to secure this city for my god."

Nazareth reached into his clothes he had previously procured from a dead slaver he had beheaded whilst travelling towards the walls of Astapor, and gave to Jurten a shabbily drawn map of the three cities and their surrounding outposts/villages. With the four men kneeling, they swiftly stood and began to leave towards the gate of Astapor.

Remaining was only Jill, standing to the left. As the four men departed and their backs slowly disappeared, Nazareth turned his attention towards the Vox operator.

"Jill, I need you to broadcast a message."

Ever since Nazareth had arrived within 'AGOT', he had pondered as to why the Mechanicus from the obvious Forge World hadn't sent any expeditions to investigate the massive planet. However, ever since that star in the sky had fallen into the Shadowlands, a faint nibble of curiosity made Nazareth want to test whether or not the star was really a drop ship.

His eyes and ears could hear that the star was unlike anything, as the star had slowed and promptly disappeared. So, as he had ordered Jill to prepare the Vox, his hand coiled around the inputter before signalling Jill to activate the transmission.

"My name is Nazareth. Second Primarch of the Imperium of Man. Second Son to the Emperor of Mankind. Any who receive this message, reply immediately."

Nazareth received only static as his voice stopped. The silence was deafening; even the still-burning buildings and slavers of Astapor were drowned out by the static. Once again, Nazareth's voice rang into the inputter before waiting for a reply. The static this time was only drowned out by Nazareth's hearts beating with rapid thumps.

Once again, Nazareth's voice rang into the inputter. "By my will, any who receive this message reply. I am the Second Primarch of the Imperium. Leader of the Second Legion, Lord of this planet." (MC has ego, so sush.)

The crackling static made Nazareth's hearts slowly return to their normal pace before, with an abrupt stop, the crackling gave way.

"This is Unit designated as Archer#45, leader of the Mechanicus expedition to Noyolea. Primarch Nazareth, we at the expedition greet the return of the Omnissiah's second son."

(AN: Whilst rereading this. Some parts didn't make sense, so I took them out, but then I think, cuz im practically mental, my work still made no sense. I would like your opinion on this chapter, whether it made sense or not. But yeah ill see you guys tomorrow.)
