While everyone was busy....
Farid was standing behind the scenes of the theater.
Wearing the costume of the play that he and his section would present shortly.
As soon as Farid finished putting on his clothes, he stepped forward and sat on one of the chairs.
Two girls approached him quickly:
One of them was holding a shiny black wig and placed it on his head carefully, while the other was adding final touches to his face, adjusting the dark lines around his eyes and patting his shoulders, saying:
"Don't move, we're almost done."
Farid took a deep breath.
And looked at his reflection in the small mirror.
Then he smiled with slight confidence.
"I look handsome as usual."
---
Outside.
The audience began to flow toward the seats.
And the murmurs rose little by little.
In the corridor leading to the theater, micheal was walking beside Rocky.
When they heard one of the girls say excitedly: "I can't believe it! Farid will be performing a play today!"
micheal stopped for a moment, frowned, then said: "Wait… where have I heard that name before?"
Rocky answered while thinking: "He's the person who was with us in George's battle two weeks ago."
micheal laughed and said with light sarcasm: "Oh, you mean the person obsessed with his handsomeness? Then what do you think about watching the play?"
Rocky shrugged and said: "Alright, I'm bored anyway. Let's watch it."
They entered the theater.
And chose two seats slightly apart, leaving the middle seat empty for Lavenia.
micheal looked around, then said while stretching his neck: "I don't see Lavenia anywhere… and the theater is full."
Rocky pointed calmly: "She's there, coming."
Indeed, Lavenia entered moments later.
She stopped at the entrance, looking at the crowded seats in frustration.
She muttered while crossing her arms: "Damn it, why didn't I come earlier?"
Suddenly.
Rocky waved to her from one of the seats.
Her eyes widened in relief, and she hurried forward and sat between them.
She said with a smile: "Wow, I didn't expect you two to attend the play."
micheal replied with a mischievous smile: "I just wanted to see that obsessed guy's performance, nothing more."
Rocky laughed and said: "Do you know which play they're performing?"
Lavenia answered as she tried to remember: "I think it's the story of Laila and the Wolf."
micheal burst out laughing: "So, will Farid be the wolf?!"
Lavenia said sarcastically as she raised an eyebrow: "No, maybe the role of one of the trees suits him better."
The three burst out laughing.
To the point that some of the people sitting in front of them had to turn around with puzzled looks.
The lights were turned off..
And silence fell.
Then the play began.
A girl wearing a bright red cloak stepped forward.
Holding a small basket in her hand. Behind her, a student appeared playing the role of the mother.
It was obvious that he was male, with a fake voice.
As soon as he said his first line, the audience burst into laughter.
Laila said confidently: "Mom, don't worry, I'll be fine."
The mother replied in a sharp, funny voice: "Yes, take care of yourself, Laila, and be polite in front of your grandmother!"
The audience laughed again, while micheal and Rocky exchanged sarcastic looks.
Lavenia whispered: "It seems this play is going to be chaotic."
Laila set off on her way to her grandmother's house.
The set changed to show a long road in the forest, and birds chirped from the speakers.
Laila was walking while hopping lightly, her basket swinging right and left.
She sang in a childish voice to entertain herself.
Suddenly,
The music stopped.
A brief silence fell, then Laila noticed a person's foot among the grass.
She gasped and slowly approached the bushes.
Her hand was shaking. She raised her basket in front of her face to protect herself.
And said in a trembling voice: "I-Is anyone there?"
She took another step forward, then froze.
In front of her, there was a man of exceptional beauty, unconscious in the middle of the forest.
His black hair was scattered, and his features were strangely calm.
The audience whispered in amazement.
micheal said softly with a smile: "Well… it seems the wolf isn't an animal as I expected."
On the stage.
Laila bent down slightly and said hesitantly: "Sir? Are you okay?"
At that moment, the man moved slowly…
And with the first movement, everyone recognized the features.
Farid's faint smile appeared.
As he slowly opened his eyes, the real story began...
Where the wolf is not a monster, but a heart waiting for someone to awaken it…
Amid the audience's laughter and their anticipation of what would come next.
