Chapter 10: Absolute and Idiots

"So you're stronger than that guy?" Kient leaped, fist glowing with immense golden aura. His voice was steady. Calm. "I should finish this quickly. Ground-rifts become catastrophic if left open too long."

"Youuu... flesh thingsss... should be used forr powerr consumption!" MORIMINA's voice was clearer than DIMININA's—deeper, more commanding. He swung his massive arm downward.

SMASH—BOOM!

The shockwave tore through the island. Trees ripped from their roots. Boulders shattered into dust. The entire landmass groaned, tilting—and sank in see.

Water rushed in from all sides, swallowing stone and metal scraps. Kient and MORIMINA leaped simultaneously, landing on another island two miles farther out.

'At least the others are safe now.' Kient's boots hit solid ground. His golden steam intensified, distorting the air around him. "But it's a race... against my age."

MORIMINA's chest core pulsed—green light flooding outward. Energy gathered in his palms, crackling, building. A laser attack powerful enough to turn an entire city into ash.

"Invincible Doom." Kient's body erupted in searing heat. Golden steam became blinding light. The ground beneath him cracked, glowing red-hot. He surged forward, fist aimed at MORIMINA's chest—directly at the gathering energy core.

THOOM.

The impact sent a shockwave across the sea. The island beneath them fractured. MORIMINA stumbled backward, energy destabilizing—

The island started sinking.

"I'll just take you with me into the sea—" Kient grabbed MORIMINA's arm, dragging him toward the water's edge.

"Father!" Leira's voice cracked. She hovered above, hands glowing with earthy light. Massive stone pillars erupted from the ocean floor, caging MORIMINA mid-fall. The boulders wrapped around the commander like a prison.

Aslon appeared beside her, blue ribbons spiraling from his hands. They wrapped around the entire island—hundreds of glowing threads binding stone and soil together.

"Hey... Leira....!" Aslon clenched his fists. His arms trembled. Veins bulged in his neck. The sinking island slowed—then stopped. Suspended. Held together by sheer willpower and magic. "Sir Kient is looking badass, let them be..!!"

"You shouldn't have come here!" Kient's voice was sharp, but his eyes softened slightly.

CRACK—

MORIMINA shattered the boulder cage. Stone exploded outward. His saber gleamed—metallic, real, deadly. Laser energy charged in his free hand.

"Go to your Absolute, Sir Kient!" Aslon shouted, voice muffled by the lollipop. "I'm close too!"

"Okay then." Kient's glow intensified. The air shimmered. Heat radiated like standing next to the sun. "Now it's time..."

A golden shockwave exploded from his body.

Kient launched forward. Fist collide with saber. Golden light clashed with green laser fire. The island trembled with every blow.

"Hey... let Father-in-law fight..." Aslon's voice strained. Sweat dripped down his face. His ribbons tightened, holding the crumbling island together. "I'm handling this island... why not support with your earth element?"

He grinned despite the pain. "And put that pineapple lollipop in my mouth, please!"

Leira wanted to hit him hard. But she didn't. Instead, she hovered closer, unwrapping the lollipop and shoving it between his teeth. Her hands returned to the ground, condensing the foundation—reinforcing every crack, every fracture.

"There...Happy?"

"Mmph—yeah!" Aslon's grin widened around the candy. 'Cant let Island fall when...she is watching!'

Leira's hands glowed with earthy light, returning focus to the ground below. She condensed the entire foundation of the island, reinforcing every crack Aslon's ribbons held together.

Her eyes drifted back to her father.

Kient moved like a storm—every punch sent golden ripples through the air. Every block against MORIMINA's saber left glowing trails. The smell of burnt metal filled the air. Seawater evaporated around them, turning to steam.

---

A massive helicopter roared toward Nomi Island, blades cutting through smoke and ash.

A blue line streaked past it—electric trail crackling behind, faster than sound.

"Well... that was our boss, I guess." Paio Smina(S-Rank Barrier user) leaned back in his seat, winking at Flaira. His hands glowed faintly with barrier magic, preparing for deployment.

"Fuh... whatever. Just being flashy." Flaira exhaled smoke from her cigarette, tail flicking in irritation. Cat ears twitched. "I just need to tear those monsters apart, right?"

"Well, maybe." Kami(S-Rank Sound/Sonic User) adjusted his hair, smirking. "But Syren's probably in a hurry. Today he was supposed to go to Ruzia with her." He laughed, fingers drumming rhythmically on his knee. "I wonder if my abilities will even affect them? Aslon's already fighting... how can I step back?"

"Um... how can you all be so chill?!" Gimmely grabbed Kami's arm, hands trembling. "That Ground-rift is SS-Rank! It could destroy all of W Country in hours—maybe days!"

"Hey, I got a message." Paio pulled out his phone, scrolling. "They're sending an exchange student? Why not Markous... but a C-Rank?" He chuckled. "I mean, he'll be easy meat for those A-Rank reptiles and S-Rank worms."

---

At Nomi Island...

A concentrated fire blast slammed into DIMININA's shoulder. Molten metal dripped. His entire arm melted—screeching, hissing as it liquefied and fell away.

"Now... it's justified that you're SS-Rank..." Rio landed hard, breathing heavily. His flames flickered. "But I'm very close to reaching six million P-points... hah... hah!"

He backed away,creating distance.

"Well, you can keep going, Rio!" Draken hovered above, water swirling around him. Three massive S-Rank worms thrashed inside a giant water sphere, along with dozens of smaller A-Rank creatures. "Leira and Aslon went to Southern islands—where Sir Kient is fighting!"

"Oi, come on, man!" Rio circled the battlefield, frustration clear in his voice. "I can't use my attacks properly... why not remove this water sphere?!"

He shot forward again, leg blazing. Fire spiraled around his kick.

"Fire Inclinator!"

His boot connected with DIMININA's chest. The commander staggered, green core flickering.

"I can't do that, you know?" Draken blocked a laser blast with a surging water stream. Steam exploded where fire and water met. "We won't know how many creatures escaped the rift if I drop the barrier!"

He raised both hands. Six bus-sized water spheres formed in the air—heavy, dense, spinning.

Draken hurled them directly into the Ground-rift opening.

CRASH. CRASH. CRASH.

Metallic screeches echoed from inside. Creatures emerging were slammed back, crushed under the weight.

"It's crazy we can keep up with an above S-Rank commander..." Draken's eyes gleamed. Water spiraled around his arms. "I guess we're both reaching the breakthrough!"

---

A black car rolled to a stop on the cracked highway connecting Nomi Island to W Country.

The driver stepped out, opening the back door. He placed one hand behind his back, bowing slightly.

"Here, Sir Williams. We've arrived at our destination."

Jack stepped out slowly. His legs felt weak. His hands trembled.

Ahead of him—destruction. Metallic scraps scattered across the road. Two massive worm carcasses, riddled with bullet holes, lay smoldering. An aircraft circled overhead, sniper fire flashing from its open bay.

"So... y-you're leaving?" Jack's voice cracked. He gripped his pants, trying to steady himself.

"Yeah. Sir Dyren said I only needed to drop you here." The driver climbed back into the car, starting the engine. "Good luck, Sir Jack Williams."

The car accelerated instantly.

Jack stood alone.

The sh mountain loomed behind him.Flashes of color—blue, yellow, red, golden—lit up the distant sky. Metallic creatures crawled across the terrain. Heroes fought everywhere.

Jack's breathing quickened.

His hands shaking harder in fear and adrenaline.

Back at Building Louisa Mariana...

"My head feels heavy..." Zin sat up slowly, rubbing his temples. His vision swam. "I didn't know I could get close to her this easily..."

He looked around. Fighter's lounge. Private room. Clara's pink glasses sat on the table beside him.

'She's taking a bath... while I'm right outside?!'

His heart pounded. Blood rushed to his face.

∆ "Blud... even I don't know how your brain can feel heavy." Holy Monkey appeared, invisible to Zin, peering through Clara's pink lenses. "You Oloshiburuku... couldn't even see what's coming. Well, I won't tell you either."

{Oloshiburuku is a Nigerian Curse which means Worthless Idiot!}

Holy Monkey vanished even though they couldn't be seen.

The bathroom door opened.

Clara stepped out , rubbing her hairs.

Water beads glistened over pale skin. The towel barely held—wrapped loosely around her chest, ending high on her thick thighs. Her pink hair was damp, dripping. Steam curled around her.

"Oh, so you woke up after all." She stood in front of the mirror, glancing at Zin's reflection. "So... what do you do for a living? In school or something?"

'My dream is coming true—'

Another unit of blood shot from Zin's nose.

He collapsed backward onto the bed, eyes rolling. An idiotic smile froze on his face.

Clara stared at him for a moment then sighed.

She unwrapped her towel.

"What should I say?" She muttered, pulling on undergarments. "Most males try to... and you?"

She looked at Zin's unconscious body.

Still smiling Still bleeding.

Clara shook her head, smirking slightly. "Idiot."
