"So you are not joking about being from the future. Can you tell me where you come from?" Ace asked the brace as he started to eat some cereal for breakfast.
[I was created by Dr Leggins. A far of descent of the legendary scientist called Bulma Briefs. The purpose of creating a hero is to rival or even surpass the greatest warriors who have lived in the past. Or to be exact in the current era.]
[I came from the era where the world was at peace. Thousands of years from now. The legend of the Great Warrior Son Goku has already faded from people's memories and the only thing that was known about him was that he was in a video game called Dragon Ball Heroes.]
[Because of this most of the data that is stored within me is data that comes from the information known about him from the legends or from the Dragon Ball heroes.]
"Son Goku? Never heard of him." Ace replied.
[Of course. Most of his legendary deeds are still hidden at this point but he has already saved the earth from the hand of the demon king Piccolo and also stopped threats smaller such as the Red Ribbon Army.]
"Demon king Piccolo?" Ace was stunned when he heard those words.
He does not know who Son Goku was but he knew who the demon king Piccolo was.
He was a monster that took over the world for a while and during his rule, he destroyed a few towns while broadcasting his actions.
He was later defeated but the person who defeated him was a mystery and over time people stopped caring about the existence of the one who had saved the world.
"So you are telling me this Son Goku was the one who saved the world?" Ace asked.
[Affermitative.]
"And if I follow all your instructions I can become someone as powerful as the one who saved the world from someone who can blow up towns," Ace asked again.
[You will sooner or later be able to destroy planets and use attacks that could even threaten the universe if you follow the mission provided.]
"That's great and all but I refuse," Ace said.
"The one called Son Goku is a legendary hero, right? Which means that the world already has a protector. And I have no reason to do bothersome things like helping randoms that I never even met before." Ace proclaimed.
[Although Son Goku indeed becomes a hero but interference from the future could also create a separate timeline where the world was never saved. In the timeline where Son Goku becomes a hero, I did not exist.]
"Wait. You mean your existence might have caused everyone in the universe to be doomed?" Ace was shocked.
[Which is why you must complete the missions provided to you. So that you can either become strong enough to become the greatest hero yourself or at least to the point where you can aid Son Goku to become one.]
