Chapter 7 - Chapter 6 – The Army of the Untalented

One month later.

The underground caverns trembled under the sound of marching bones.

Hundreds of skeletons — goblin skeletons, archers, mages, warriors — all moved in sync.

At their center stood **Suho**, the untalented player, riding atop a **Skeleton Warrior** like a general at war.

His hollow eyes glowed faintly as he looked toward the distant flicker of torches.

The **Goblin Village.**

> "If I can't defeat them with power…"

> "…then I'll defeat them with numbers."

Suho smirked weakly, his voice hoarse from endless shouting.

> "Hahaha… ah, my throat hurts."

The skeletons exchanged awkward glances — or at least, that's what it felt like.

Even without flesh or emotion, their postures somehow radiated embarrassment.

But their hesitation vanished when Suho raised his hand.

> "March!"

The ground shook.

Hundreds of undead stormed forward — a white tide of bones against a green sea of goblins.

Swords clashed, arrows flew, fireballs erupted.

The **Goblin Village** turned into a field of chaos and death.

Everywhere Suho looked, his army fought with brutal precision — the Skeleton Warriors cut down goblins, while mages cast blazing spheres of fire from rooftops.

And then —

A familiar roar.

A **troll** emerged from the forest, shaking the earth beneath its feet.

> "There you are…" Suho muttered, stepping back into the shadows.

He gathered the last fragments of his power, his eyes burning.

> "(Aura + Fireball) — Combine Skill: *Explosion Blade!*"

The troll roared, swinging its club, but hundreds of skeletons pinned it from every side.

Blades dug into its flesh, arrows pierced its eyes, fire and aura burned its body to ash.

Then Suho's spell struck.

A blinding explosion swallowed the battlefield.

When the smoke cleared, the troll was gone — reduced to nothing but scorched bones.

> [Stage 1 – Level 1 Cleared.]

> [Massive Experience Gained.]

> [Dark Magic: Novice → Beginner.]

> [Aura Proficiency Increased.]

> [1 Skill Point Obtained.]

Suho fell to one knee, breathing heavily.

A massive **Gate** appeared before him, glowing gold.

The portal to **Level 2** of Stage 1.

But Suho didn't move.

Instead, he stared at it quietly.

> "If something stronger appears on the other side… I won't survive."

So, he turned back.

And started again.

---

Days turned into weeks.

Suho conquered the **Goblin Village** over and over — each time stronger, each time faster.

Each reset, the goblins revived.

Each reset, Suho slaughtered them again.

By the tenth reset, his skeletons began fighting without his commands.

By the twentieth, they fought and *won* without him even moving.

Suho simply sat cross-legged in the **Safe Room**, meditating.

His aura slowly stabilized.

The energy that once flickered weakly around his sword now hummed like a steady flame.

> [Player Level: 19]

> [Skeleton Army: 300 Units Active]

> [Stage 1 – Level 1 (Cleared)]

Suho opened his eyes, stood, and whispered—

> "Now… let's go to Level 2."

---

The **Stage 1 – Level 2** environment was different.

Dark tunnels stretched endlessly, littered with **traps** — spikes, arrows, collapsing floors.

But the skeletons didn't care.

They walked straight through.

Goblins ambushed them from the shadows, but the undead army tore them apart with ease.

Then, new enemies appeared.

Massive, bull-headed monsters wielding crude iron clubs — **Minotaurs** of this world, or something close to them. Their muscles rippled with power, their roars echoing across the stone halls.

They had no regeneration like trolls, but their sheer strength crushed several skeletons with each swing.

> "So these are the new monsters, huh…" Suho gritted his teeth.

> "Fine. Let's test something."

He ordered his Skeleton Mages to bind their legs with magic while the archers aimed for the joints. The Warriors charged in from both sides.

The battle was long, brutal, but in the end —

They won.

And after several more fights, Suho began to notice something.

His breathing no longer shook.

His aura didn't vanish when he swung.

His movements flowed naturally.

> "Maybe…" he whispered, a smile forming.

> "Maybe I am talented."

> "I just needed time."

> "Hahaha… ah, damn it. My throat again."

---

Meanwhile, somewhere else in the tutorial world—

A different player stood amidst a burning battlefield, his blade gleaming blue with aura.

He sliced through monsters like paper, his control precise, beautiful.

> "(Focus your aura refining properly)," said a voice from above — his **Constellation**.

> "(You possess enormous potential and control. You are naturally gifted.)"

The player laughed.

> "So I'm the strongest in this game now, right?"

> "(No. Do not grow arrogant. There are others like you — or stronger.)"

> "Yeah, yeah. I know."

> "[Constellation 'Hero of Era' has gifted you a skill: Aura Manipulation.]"

The player's eyes widened.

> "What's this?"

> "(A technique to shape your aura into anything. Do not rely on weapons — forge your own strength. Your body itself is a weapon.)"

> "Ohhh… now this is interesting."

The player raised his hand.

Blue aura shimmered, solidifying into a floating sword.

Then another.

Then dozens more.

> "Let's have some fun."

He charged, his laughter echoing through the battlefield.

---

And elsewhere again—

deep in the darkness of the dungeon, surrounded by bones and silence—

**Suho** stood, struggling to coat his sword with aura.

His skeletons fought tirelessly around him, cutting down monsters as he focused, sweat dripping from his brow.

> "Just a bit more… almost…"

A faint flicker appeared on his blade — unstable, but real.

Then—

> [Gate Detected: Stage 1 – Level 5 Unlocked.]

Suho exhaled, staring at the glowing portal ahead.

> "Let's keep moving," he whispered.

> "We're not done yet."
