Chapter 5 - Jade Horned Tiger King!

"From then on, Little Brother and Little Sister had been living alone on their own. Little Brother is a hunter, and he is the one supporting Little Sister's studies at the Phenix Academy."

The young man recited everything he knew about Draven from his investigation.

The old man remained silent for some time, but the atmosphere around them grew tense by the second.

"Stonewills, huh?" After a while, he sneered and took out his phone from his storage ring, dialing a number saved as 'Black Donkey' in his contacts.

"Madman, if you have anything to say, say it quickly. I am not as idle as you," an irritated voice came from the other end of the phone.

"There is news on Little Draven and Little Sia..." the old man said directly.

The voice on the other end fell silent, as though stunned by the news. After a moment, he replied, "Wait there. I will be there in a moment."

The old man shook his head. "No need to come here. I will be at the Stonewill family mansion. You can meet me there."

After hanging up, the old man said to the young man, "Inform Little Saya to get ready. After I come back, we will be heading to the 36th stronghold to bring them here."

"What about me, Grandfather? I also want to see my little brother and sister," the young man asked anxiously when his grandfather didn't mention bringing him along.

"The first-tier forbidden land, Nether Phoenix Cave, will be opening in a month. Go and prepare yourself. If you come back beaten black and blue like last time, I will forget the fact that you are my grandson," the old man said with a sullen expression and teleported away, leaving the young man behind.

"Let's go and speak to Granny. Unlike this crazy old man, she will surely bring me with her if I tell her this news," the young man rubbed his hands eagerly and teleported away towards his grandmother's courtyard.

...

Back in the forest, Draven was unaware of the fact that two old men were currently beating up the elders and patriarch of the main Stonewill family, demanding compensation for their crippled grandson.

After the pain from his bloodline reaching 100% slowly subsided, he lay on the cave floor and looked at his information in the Dream God Ring.

[Dream God Ring]

[Dream Points: 60]

[Life Span: 17/100]

[Innate Dream Walker Physique (Mortal)]

[Shadow World Behemoth Bloodline (Mortal): 0.005/100(+)]

[Chaos Divine Ape Bloodline (Mortal): 100%]

...

[Dreamer Slab: 4]

[Inherent Technique(Mortal):0/100]

[Chaos God Possession: 0/100(+)]

[Chaos Divine Lightning: 0/100(+)]

[Energy Conversion: 0/100(+)]

...

After the Chaos Divine Ape bloodline was fully awakened, the progress bar behind it disappeared and a new dream slab appeared in the techniques section.

Draven had received the memories of these techniques when his bloodline reached 100%, which he didn't receive when he first awakened it 10 years ago. Although all of them are powerful techniques unique to those who awakened the Chaos Divine Ape bloodline, practicing them was impossible without a Chaos Elemental Core. So, Draven didn't feel much joy in getting them.

After all, who would be happy if there was delicious food in front of them, but they couldn't eat it because they had no mouth?

Nevertheless, he could feel his physical strength had increased slightly. Even though it wasn't enough to break through to the next realm, he could feel some of the shackles inside his body breaking apart.

At the same time, his vital energy slowly started circulating according to the Ultimate Demon Body Forging Art involuntarily, strengthening his physique further.

"At least this way there is a chance I can break my body's limit. Since I am now at the peak of the mortal realm, hunting higher-tier beasts in the depths of the Deep Swamp Forest and accumulating dream points won't be as risky as before."

After resting for a while, he decided to hunt demon beasts first and accumulate enough dream points to push his other bloodline to 100%. Normally, it was an impossible task, as a body could only have one bloodline at 100% purity, but Draven believed with the help of the Dream God Ring, he would be able to pull this off. Otherwise, the progress bar for the second bloodline should have disappeared when the Chaos Divine Ape bloodline reached 100%.

When he left the cave, the sky was already dark outside.

"Roar..." Just then, the roar of a tiger pierced the calm of the forest from a distance.

Draven followed the source of the sound and saw four people battling a large tiger, the size of a cow, with a single horn on its head. Compared to its massive body, the cultivators surrounding it felt like children.

Although Draven didn't know who the other three young people were, he was familiar with the middle-aged man, Uncle John, who had asked him to join his hunting team earlier.

"Alexandra, cast a blessing on the three of us, to the max! If we can break through its defense there, we can still bring this beast down!" one of the young men shouted as he thrust his spear, covered in lightning, towards the tiger demon in rapid succession.

The only lady in the group, Alexandra, who was standing some distance away, waved her magic staff, and the three were enveloped in golden armor made of light.

"Take this!" John also jumped high with the boost from the blessing spell and struck the tiger's head with his hammer, breaking its horn in two.

The remaining young man also punched the tiger's stomach with his fist covered in blue lightning arcs.

"Roar..." The Jade-Horned Tiger Demon let out an enraged roar, and a bloody aura enveloped its being, making the four people involuntarily take a step back.

"Not good, it's going berserk!" John said in terror as he watched the tiger demon's muscles bulge and its broken horn grow back as if it had never been broken.

"Run!" The spear-wielding young man didn't wait for anyone and started running for his life.

The tiger demon noticed him and chased after him like a bull.

"Damn it!" the young man shouted and threw his spear towards the tiger demon. But to his horror, except for making the tiger angrier, the spear didn't even manage to pierce the berserk tiger demon's skin.

Just as he was feeling helpless, he saw the young girl Alexandra staring at the side, clutching her staff, frozen in fear.

His eyes lit up with joy, and he ran towards her, pushing her towards the tiger demon as he fled for his life.

"Bastard!" John and the other young man shouted as both ran towards the tiger demon.

The young man landed a kick on the tiger demon's body, while John smashed his hammer towards its neck. But to their surprise, the tiger demon didn't even look at them, as though their attacks weren't even enough to tickle it.

At this time, the young lady, who was desperately crawling backward, took out dozens of formation plates from her storage ring and threw them at the tiger demon.

"Bang! Bang! Bang..."

A dozen explosions rang out as the tiger demon was pushed back. Each formation plate transformed into different spells as they rained down on the tiger demon like crazy.

"Snow spear!"

"Fireballs!"

"Thunderbolt! Huh? ....a rare spell like the space blade?"

Even Draven, who was watching the battle from afar, was amazed, as each of these formation plates must have cost a fortune, especially the space-type one.

"Raoar..." The tiger demon roared in pain as wound after wound appeared on its body from the continuous bombardment.

"It's... it's... it's not in the mortal realm! This beast is at the Ascendent realm! It was toying with us earlier!" John shouted in terror when he saw the tiger demon still standing in front of him like a mountain, even after taking dozens of spells at the peak of the mortal realm.

The tiger demon gave the shivering young lady a fierce look and roared towards the sky. Lightning element gathered around its horn and formed a lightning ball the size of a football.

The young lady's complexion paled; she could only stare at the tiger demon in front of her in fear as death approached her step by step.

Even John and the young man were now frozen in fear, as an Ascendent realm magic beast was ten times more powerful than a mortal realm cultivator, even if it was only at the first stage.

"Bang!"

Just as the young lady lost all hope, a man in a white shirt appeared in front of her out of nowhere and kicked the tiger's jaw, making its head jerk upwards and the thunderball it had gathered fly off into the distance.

"Uncle John, she is targeted by the tiger demon! Get out of this place! I will take care of the rest!" Draven shouted towards John and, without even waiting for a reply, lifted the young lady in a princess carry and bolted into the forest.

"Roar!" The tiger demon let out an enraged roar and chased after Draven, ignoring the others. Just as Draven predicted, the tiger demon was pissed after being bombarded by a dozen spells, and all it wanted at this moment was to tear that young lady to pieces.
