Aaradhya, wakes up by the sun rays falling on her. She feels numb. She checks the time.
Aaradhya -why did I even wake up this early in the morning ?
She takes a deep breath and rises from her bed. Does her stretching ,listens to songs -while spending her time in self grooming.She goes out of her dorm with her belongings. She goes to a convenience store to grab her favourite chocolate drink.Later,She heads to the dance studio.
Walking-slow, watching every scene as she passes, she looks up towards the sky and she says.
Aaradhya- Yes.I can do this
When she enters the studio-no people, it was empty, except HIM
Hyun-woo came early in the morning to check if there is any damage with the effect of the magical fight night took place . There, he manages to repair the mirror …..later, he finds a glowing object. He crouches down to get it. It was the bead of Aaradhya's anklets.
When she entered, he slipped the bead into one of his pockets and turns his face towards her
The eyes of dark brown and black meets each other,he gave a pleasant smile, but Aaradhya-without any words, keeps her bag and steps outside
Guilt visible in his eyes
Aaradhya-why was he even smiling? What is he thinking? I can't ignore him every time… He's also my guide… God what will I do?
Deep breath, one, two and… Three
She enters the room
Most of them started to appear… She goes near him, ready to practice. He sees her eyes -the words repeat again -that promise ,his mind full of questions.
Hyun-woo (Mind)- is she my past…? I need to check it out…
Hyun-woo And Aaradhya dance with their blades as if they did it a millions of time ….later, Hyun-woo teaches her how to perfect the moves…
During the practice, they only had short conversation about the dance moves
The practice session came to an end
Professor Kim minhae- attention everyone, there is a performance for us -sword dancers, so the selection is absolutely based on your practice. I will read out the pairs then….
Professor announced five pairs
Professor-…Hyun-woo and Aaradhya, you guys will be the main pair….then all can proceed to leave .your practice for the performance starts from tomorrow
Aaradhya-why?just why? Peeks at Hyun-woo's face
Hyun-woo gazes her and back to the professor
She does the same, he faintly smirks (sweetly)
Hyun-woo(Mind)-now she cannot ignore me… At least, I hope she doesn't
Professor walks towards them
Professor-you guys are perfect with everything… You guys will have a high expectation from me… Don't let that get down… And Aaradhya your moves are perfectly synchronised with Hyun-woo… You were already great…thats why I paired you with him… But now you're perfect, you guys are perfect dance partners . all the best for your performance guys
Aaradhya -Thanks, Professor. We won't let your expectation get down.
Hyun-woo nods his head for her statement
Meanwhile… A sharp gaze, face, cold, and rigid, watching them with burning eyes.A male dancer considered to be the second greatest dancer after Hyun-woo looks at them from afar and barges out of the studio with his practice bag .( Ji-won )
Aaradhya-turns towards her bag,packs It and left the place as fast as possible.
She walks through the campus… It was already evening… She sits in a bench under the tree beside a river… Golden rays fall on her-making her look divine
She remembers his words " because the light belongs to someone else"
Aaradhya-then let it belong to that person… Why it should belong to me now?
Hyun-woo- watches her from afar
Ji-won - Aaradhya…
Aaradhya-hi Senior…(she knows him because of the gossips ,he is said to be the rival of Hyun-woo . They both are of same age -26. He's also said to be a great dancer)
Ji-won - is the seat taken? And …call me, Ji-won . It's fine.
Aaradhya-no Ji-won ,the seat is not taken
Ji-won sits beside her
Ji-won - Your moves ,your dance,All perfect Aaradhya.I was mesmerised by it
Aaradhya (smiles pleasantly)- thank You Ji-won
(After chatting for 30 minutes)
In the other side Hyun-woo looks at them with his sharp raged eyes
Hyun-woo( to himself) - He even dared to approach her, even after knowing she is with me.
His veins popping out ,rage in his eyes ,face as cold as ever
Ji-won -let's see later, then
Aaradhya-of course…
During the conversation, she felt uncomfortable talking with Ji-won . She feels hard to talk. She is confused. She never felt like this. She even feels angry towards Ji-won for no reason.
Aaradhya's( mind)-why do I feel so raged as if I lost something precious to him ….my mind is absolutely full of chaos
From afar, she meets Hyun-woo's dark brown eyes-melting her, making her secure ,assuring that he's there, making her rage to disappear
She sighs -I want to talk to him, but he is someone like multiple personality. He makes my heart pound. I feel something good -a connection towards him… But him…
She sighs deep
Aaradhya- I won't be able to ignore you ...
She takes her bag and head to her dorm
Aaradhya-you can come out… And Stop following me
Hyun-woo -I am not following you. I am protecting you.
Aaradhya-it's fine. I can do it myself and… You told me to forget everything, and I am trying to move on.
Hyun-woo - you don't need to forget everything Aaradhya and you don't need to move on and addition to that,I am extremely sorry that I should have given my attention towards you instead of ignoring it… I'm guilty for my late apology… I hope you still don't ignore me…
(Truth, guilt, and warm visible in his eyes) THATS ENOUGH FOR HER .
Aaradhya- you-Are you , the great one ….apologising to me
(Teases him)
Hyun-woo - ( steps closer ) - I meant each, and every words from my heart… (Looks at her eyes)
Aaradhya-I forgive you… I even burst out, but… What made you to apologise?
Hyun-woo - I can't run my time without your talks. I tried to ignore you, but I could never. I steal glances of you. I follow you … I internally smile, but I show you my cold back-It was just an act. I feel connected to you. I feel familiar of you and addition to that -maybe when I saw you with Ji-won….even though I feel familiar of you, I could not remember you
Aaradhya's heart beating fast, she blushes hearing it. She feels happy. She sees his trust, caring, and his hearty message to her
Aaradhya-what do you mean by remember me? I just came to this university… And I even feel strange talking to Ji-won , I actually wanted to talk about that too…
Hyun-woo - it's… (He gets a call ) We will talk about it later. You go to your dorm room….byeee
(He hands over a choco bar to her)
She takes it and heads to her room
She throws herself in bed.A soft smile in her lips appears while thinking about the scenes- She freshens up, go towards her window ,opens. It smells the perfume of Earth -the smell of fresh flowers, the breeze - everything which makes her mood extremely good… Closes the window later ….
After a while…
She was reading a novel where she smelled Hyun-woo's perfume out of nowhere
(She looks everywhere)
Aaradhya-is he here? Doors locked even windows…..(She looks around, rising from her bed with her book in her hands)
Hyun-woo - Aaradhya( whispers to her ears)
Her book fell down, which was caught by Hyun-woo
Aaradhya- H-How d-did you …enter? (her words escaped as whisper)
She forgets to breathe as they both stand close to each other, few inches apart
He goes towards her bed and sits there comfortably
(She asks again)
Aaradhya-how did you enter?
Hyun-woo - I can enter through magic
Aaradhya (amazed)- Magic?
Aaradhya-I wanted to ask few questions to you
Hyun-woo - And I came to answer that
Aaradhya -earlier you said …..you don't remember me? What does that mean and how did you get the magic and the ….Shadows who were they …. In addition to that, when I had a conversation with Ji-won , I felt a strange irritation and rage towards talking to him, it was as if I lost something precious to him.
