Chapter 52 - CHAPTER 52: Game

this message for several days. Ever since that mysterious figure, known as the Firefly, appeared, he felt like he had finally met his match. He had to find that person!

Unfortunately, the Firefly was incredibly skilled, and no matter how he tried to lure her out, she never took the bait. But now, he finally had a chance.

"Quick, breach her system! I want to see just who she really is!"

To prepare for this, Isaac had even brought in several well-known hackers from the industry, all waiting for the Firefly to log into that account.

His eyes, like amber, were fixed on the screen without blinking.

"Oh no! We've been counter-hacked!"

One of the hackers spoke up first, and then all the mainframes went black.

"Damn it!"

Isaac slammed his hand on the table. "It was her!"

How could so many of them not outsmart a little girl?

If word got out about this, where would he put his face?

"Get it fixed immediately!" Isaac Grant urged the team he had assembled.

"This is the highest-level defense system we have. The programming is incredibly complex, and fixing it will take at least twenty-four hours," one of the programmers replied, looking troubled. He regretted taking on this job; he initially thought it was just a rookie named Leo, someone he could handle. Now, he realized that compared to this person, he was the real rookie.

The money they would earn barely covered the losses they were incurring; just this defense program alone had already exceeded the commission Isaac had promised them.

Seeing the look on their client's face, they feared they might lose this valuable customer.

"Aren't you supposed to be some of the best computer experts in the country?"

Isaac Grant was clearly unhappy. He began to doubt whether he had chosen the right people for the job. These guys looked incompetent; the computer hadn't even been on for ten minutes before they were caught off guard. Was this the level of the top experts in the country?

The group exchanged glances, their expressions tinged with shame.

"We... we really are outmatched. But we can guarantee that there are no more than five people in the country who could have done this to us. This person is at least a world-class expert; we simply can't compete with him."

Seeing their defeated faces, Isaac felt a wave of disappointment wash over him. It was too late to say anything now.

"Alright, we're good to go!"

Someone shouted, and all the computer screens lit up.

Isaac Grant quickly took his seat at the computer. "Why can't we control it?"

"Someone's taking over our mainframe!"

Before Isaac could fully grasp the situation, he saw the game character on the screen darting through various scenes, defeating opponents left and right. Wasn't this the game that Liu Ying had participated in during the beta test?

He watched as Liu Ying's character
