it," Oliver Grant said calmly. However, Ell Grant felt that he genuinely cared. No matter his reasons, he seemed to be the first person in the Grant family to show her kindness.
"Actually, I went out today to buy you a gift, but I got sidetracked by some things. If there's anything you like, just let me know," Ella said straightforwardly.
Oliver paused for a moment, taken aback.
"You want to thank me?"
He took a deep breath. "You don't necessarily have to buy me something to show your gratitude. Maybe you could do something else."
"Like what?" Ella asked, her curiosity piqued as she looked up at him.
"It seems like you've never called me 'brother' before," Oliver replied, recalling the last time Ella had casually referred to their third brother as 'Third Brother.' He had envied that moment for a long time, wondering if Ella would ever call him something similar, but he didn't know how long he would have to wait.
"Second Brother?" Elle tentatively tried.
The moment she said it, Oliver was stunned. He had never imagined that this day would come so soon!
Her little sister just called her "big sister"!
Ella Grant couldn't quite understand why Oliver Grant was so excited. Logically speaking, she was younger than them, so it was perfectly normal for her to call him "brother."
"Okay, okay!"
Oliver repeated the word "okay" twice, feeling as if he were floating back to his room. His happiness was evident, even though he couldn't quite pinpoint why he felt this way. That night, he found himself unable to sleep from the excitement.
Ella Grant slept soundly and woke up early the next day.
While others were still asleep, she had already tidied up and was just about to change her clothes.
When Stella Grant came downstairs, yawning, she caught sight of Ella, who had applied a light touch of makeup. A wave of nervousness washed over her.
What kind of makeup did she use? Her skin looked amazing, and the makeup made her look completely different from before.
"Hey, sis, do you have any makeup tips? Look at me, I'm so hopeless at this!"
Ellema shot her a sideways glance, clearly catching the sarcasm in her words.
"Well, you can just stay ugly then."
Stella's expression instantly changed. But with so many members of the Grant family around, she couldn't afford to lose her cool and ruin her image. So, she had no choice but to head back and put on more makeup.
By the time Stella Grant finished her makeup, the Grant family had mostly tidied up.
"Dad, do I look pretty today?"
Stella fluttered down like a colorful butterfly in her vibrant outfit. Ella Grant sighed as she looked at her sister's dress, wondering whose unique taste Stella had inherited. She had completely ruined the delicate makeup the artist had worked so hard on.
Dalton Grant felt a bit awkward but still smiled and replied, "You look great."
