Chapter 12 - CHAPTER 12 – A New Resident in the Forbidden Area

He Xiao Sing felt greatly relieved when she saw that Mo Tien Wang's condition was improving. She then pulled her finger out of his mouth.

"Tien Wang ge ge, how are you feeling now? Is your body any better?"

Mo Tien Wang slowly nodded his head, then looked at He Xiao Sing with gentle eyes.

Being gazed at like that, He Xiao Sing immediately blushed. She lowered her head, her face growing red.

"Xiao Sing, thank you for letting me drink your blood. I feel much better now."

He Xiao Sing smiled happily at his words. She was glad her blood could help heal Mo Tien Wang.

"If Tien Wang ge ge still doesn't feel well, you can drink my blood again. I don't want you to suffer because of me."

He Xiao Sing offered her blood without hesitation. She knew that Mo Tien Wang had become pale from channeling too much inner energy. She wanted to repay his kindness by giving him her blood.

Mo Tien Wang did indeed want to drink her blood again. But seeing He Xiao Sing's sincerity made him feel guilty. If he were to drink her blood every day, her body wouldn't be able to withstand it. Even if it meant he could regain his power sooner, he couldn't bring himself to do that.

"No need, Xiao Sing. I'm already feeling better. From now on, don't offer your blood so easily to anyone. If your secret as a possessor of Pure Yin Blood is exposed, your life will be in real danger."

He Xiao Sing nodded in understanding. Deep inside, she felt warmth in her heart—Mo Tien Wang truly cared for her safety. She resolved to strengthen her inner energy as quickly as possible so she could free Mo Tien Wang from this place.

"Oh, right, Xiao Sing," Mo Tien Wang continued, "never show the progress of your training to anyone. Pretend that your inner energy hasn't improved. I don't want anyone to become suspicious."

"I understand, Tien Wang ge ge. I'll pretend to be clueless in front of my master and my foster father. I don't want them to know about our relationship."

Mo Tien Wang nodded in satisfaction—but suddenly, something crossed his mind.

"Xiao Sing, take off one of your earrings."

He Xiao Sing immediately obeyed his instruction. She removed the earring on her right ear and handed it to Mo Tien Wang.

Mo Tien Wang held the earring in his palm and began reciting a series of incantations. Soon after, the earring glowed brightly before the light slowly faded away.

"Put your earring back on. From now on, you can contact me through it. Besides that, the earring can also help you teleport within a range of one hundred kilometers—you only need to visualize your destination."

He Xiao Sing's eyes lit up in delight. If the earring could teleport her there, she no longer needed to sneak into the Pak Kwa Forest. She was truly amazed by Mo Tien Wang's abilities—not only was he a master of inner energy, but also of magic.

"Tien Wang ge ge, you're amazing! Could you teach me magic too? I really want to become your student. Please, let me be your disciple!"

He Xiao Sing pleaded earnestly. Compared to cultivating inner energy, she was far more interested in learning magic. She wanted to learn how to create magical artifacts like that.

Mo Tien Wang smiled at her enthusiasm, then gave her one condition.

"I can teach you—but you must promise to be loyal to me. Also, you cannot perform dual cultivation with anyone without my permission."

"Alright, ge ge, I accept your condition! When can we start?"

He Xiao Sing agreed without a second thought. To her, dual cultivation wasn't important—she preferred to rely on her own effort to improve her abilities.

Mo Tien Wang was very pleased with her answer. He promised to start teaching her the following night. Since it was getting late, he told He Xiao Sing to return home for now.

"Alright, Tien Wang ge ge, I'll go now. See you again, ge ge."

After saying goodbye, He Xiao Sing vanished from the spot. With the help of her enchanted earring, she teleported straight into her bedroom. Upon arriving, she jumped for joy. She hadn't expected the earring enchanted by Mo Tien Wang to have such incredible power. Seeing this, He Xiao Sing became even more excited to learn from him.

"Xiao Sing, have you arrived in your room?"

"AHHH!!"

He Xiao Sing screamed in shock when she heard Mo Tien Wang's voice through the earring. She had completely forgotten that it could also be used for communication.

"T-Tien Wang ge ge? Y-yes, I'm already in my room, ge ge."

Mo Tien Wang chuckled softly on the other end. He could imagine her startled face—and for some reason, just picturing it made him miss her already.

"I'm glad you arrived safely. I just wanted to make sure you're alright. Go to sleep now—it's getting late."

"Alright, Tien Wang ge ge. Good night, ge ge. Sweet dreams."

Mo Tien Wang smiled at her words. For the first time in decades, he was finally able to sleep peacefully.

The next morning, the Forbidden Area received two visitors—Yang Wan Tong and Huang Cin Sen. Both had been sent by Li Tao Lu to come here that day.

After introducing themselves, Ong Hai San instructed Li Xu Xian to escort them to their respective rooms. He also reminded them not to enter certain restricted areas. Once they had settled their belongings, Ong Hai San told them to meet him in the training hall.

Following Ong Hai San's orders, Li Xu Xian led them to their rooms.

Throughout the walk, Yang Wan Tong kept chatting with Li Xu Xian. He had once been Li Xu Xian's subordinate, but after Li Xu Xian went into seclusion, Yang Wan Tong felt superior to him.

"She Siong Li, the Kun Lun Sect's disciples are much more disciplined now than they were in your time. After I became Head Disciple, I made many new rules. Now, none of them dare to slack off or talk back to their seniors. They're all as obedient as kittens."

Yang Wan Tong proudly boasted about his achievements—clearly trying to mock Li Xu Xian.

Huang Cin Sen, who walked behind them, could only sigh quietly. He had never wanted to become the new sect leader. However, many of his fellow disciples had urged him to take the position. Most of them were fed up with Yang Wan Tong's arrogance and harsh treatment of the juniors. In their eyes, Yang Wan Tong was unfit to lead. After being pressured repeatedly, Huang Cin Sen finally agreed to be nominated as the new leader.
