"Xiao Sing my child, why must you be like this ? It truly breaks my heart to see you suffer like this."
Li Xu Xian spoke softly while gently caressing his daughter's head. He couldn't bear to see He Xiao Sing treated that way. Deep inside, he began to think of secretly freeing her. As a father, Li Xu Xian would do anything to protect his daughter — even if it meant going against Ong Hai San himself.
"Father… please don't be sad. I'm fine, really. I'm sorry for troubling you…"
He Xiao Sing felt terribly guilty toward Li Xu Xian. At first, she had planned to escape from the forbidden area without involving him. But seeing how much he loved her, she began to waver. She didn't want to leave him behind, fearing Ong Hai San would punish him because of her escape.
"Father… I'll be honest with you, but will you promise not to tell Master anything?"
Li Xu Xian gazed at his daughter with warmth and nodded.
"I swear I won't tell your master anything. You can entrust your secret to me."
After hearing his oath, He Xiao Sing began to tell him everything honestly — about her encounter with Mo Tien Wang, how he had taught her inner energy techniques, and even her plan to escape.
Upon hearing her story, Li Xu Xian's expression darkened. He never imagined his daughter would meet someone from the Demon Clan. Even if that person had treated her kindly, he was still of demonic blood. Ever since the death of He Xiao Sing's mother, Li Xu Xian had harbored deep hatred for all those from the Demon Clan.
"Xiao Sing, listen to me. No demon can be trusted. They're all smooth-tongued liars. Your mother once suffered the same fate — she was ruined because she married someone from the Demon Clan."
"What? Married someone from the Demon Clan?? Then… my real father… he's from the Demon Clan??"
He Xiao Sing finally understood why her inner energy roots were of demonic origin. Her biological father had been a demon.
Li Xu Xian suddenly realized he had said too much. The secret he had hidden for so long had finally slipped out.
"Father, Tien Wang gege would never harm me. He and I have formed a blood pact. If he ever tries to hurt me, he himself would suffer the same fate. That's why, Father, please come with us. Let's escape together. I promise I won't let Tien Wang gege hurt you."
Li Xu Xian paused, considering her words. He couldn't believe his daughter had made a blood pact with a demon — but he had to admit, it was a clever move.
"Please Father, come with me. I don't want to be apart from you. You'll come with me, won't you?"
He Xiao Sing pleaded sweetly, clinging to her father's arm. Her eyes sparkled as she tried to soften his heart.
Li Xu Xian couldn't help but smile at her behavior. He loved his daughter deeply. He had willingly stayed in this forbidden place just to protect her. Now that she wanted to leave, of course he would follow.
"I'll go with you, Xiao Sing. But we must first find a way out of this place. Once we're out of the underground chamber, you can use teleportation magic."
"Thank you, Father! I'm so happy you'll come with me. I love you so much!"
He Xiao Sing hugged Li Xu Xian tightly, her eyes filled with emotion. She was deeply grateful to have an adoptive father like him — the only person in the world who truly loved her.
At that moment, deep within the Pak Kwa Forest, a powerful explosion suddenly shook the ground. The force was so strong that trees fell and animals fled in panic.
The explosion wasn't confined to the forest — even Ong Hai San's cave trembled violently. Feeling the disturbance, Ong Hai San rushed to the stone wall behind his chamber. He extended his hand and checked the magical seal embedded there.
"Damn it! The seal… it's gone?!"
His face turned pale. He quickly pressed his palm against the wall, opening a hidden passage, and ran inside. Panic gripped his heart as countless dreadful possibilities filled his mind.
Moments later, he reached the sealed chamber — but it was too late. Everything was already in ruins.
The ancient tree that bound Mo Tien Wang had split in two. The entire chamber lay in shambles. The magical barriers that had sealed the place were shattered. Ong Hai San stood frozen, utterly bewildered. He had guarded this place for more than eighty years — how could Mo Tien Wang possibly have escaped?
He approached the broken tree, carefully inspecting the area. Suddenly, his attention was drawn to a small bottle lying nearby.
Out of curiosity, he picked it up and examined it. Inside were faint traces of blood. When he sniffed it, his face darkened instantly. The faint floral scent was unmistakable — it was He Xiao Sing's blood. Only pure yin blood carried such a fragrance.
Now Ong Hai San understood. Mo Tien Wang must have been the one teaching He Xiao Sing. He didn't know how they met, but he was certain there was a special connection between them.
"This is bad! That demon must be after Xiao Sing!!"
Realizing this, Ong Hai San immediately left the chamber, using teleportation to rush toward He Xiao Sing's location. But since teleportation magic couldn't be used underground, he could only transport himself to an area not far from her.
