Mr. N clears his throat way too loudly.
"Okay. So. Um. Yeah. We've got a situation."
Demi immediately looks down at the floor, already embarrassed.
"Osprey," Mr. N continues, pacing, "decided that yesterday he is going to make a name for himself!"
Sho brings a hand up to his mouth, knuckles pressed to his lips as he holds in a laugh. His shoulders twitch once.
"He killed two lieutenants from the President's Elite Guard. Two." Which is already bad because now the President's gonna do that thing where he stares at me like I personally kissed Osprey in and told him to go commit crimes.
Elite Guard Rank 5 lets out a sharp snort. He doesn't even try to stop himself, laughter spilling out as he turns away.
Demi squeezes his eyes shut.
"Then," Mr. N says, snapping his fingers, "he deletes four REZOS members. Four. Just gone.""The same way he disappeared with Aspera earlier. God knows what they were doing."
Aspera hides her face.
Osprey, sitting stiff in the tub, lowers himself deeper into the water. His face is red with embarrassment. He stares straight ahead, refusing to make eye contact with anyone.
Farah looks at Aspera like they want to KILL HER.
Rank 5 bites down hard, forcing the sound back into his throat. His eyes water slightly from holding it in.
"Oh. And then. Almost forgot. He also killed Mori."
The shift hits instantly.
Rank 5, no longer laughing, his demeanor completely shifts.
La Mathesis scoffs as he slams the table, in disbelief. How could Mr. N be taking this situation so lightly? Mori DEAD? He was one of us??
Elite Guard Rank 9, Yara's Bible, was TRAINED by Mori. This news absolutely crushes him as his pupils dilate. They have been searching for him for years.
He has so many questions. He gets up and storms to Mr. N. Immediately, Mr. N shuts him down, however.
"I will order Dreyfus to gut you like a fish and hang your intestines over your door frame so that maggots fall from your mouth for an entire month before I have your corpse removed.So kindly, RANK Replaceable 9, TAKE A SEAT."
Yara almost broke down. He didn't even get to spea—
His lieutenants escorted him back to his seat.
"Yes," Mr. N adds quickly, "former Elite Guard Rank 4. The one who went rogue. The one I explicitly said would get himself killed if he kept acting like a rejected anime villain."
Osprey snaps,
"ISSAK, THAT'S TOO FAR. IT'S NOT FUNNY. He was genuinely one of us. We knew him ever since we were fucking KIDS, MAN. What the fuck is wrong with you? What persona is this? Is this how you handle your fucking grief? By creating this carefree, all-powerful persona? WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU, MAN?"
Osprey heaved, his lungs almost caving in just from yelling.
Solomon told him to calm down or else.
"SHUT your mout--h... he exhales, struggling.
Mr. N slowly walks over to Osprey.
He puts his hand on his shoulders and slowly pushes him downwards into the tub.
Osprey, incapable of moving, eyes wide open, looks Mr. N dead in the eyes.
Wait, what?
Aspera starts to hyperventilate.
"Wait, no," she breaks down into tears.
Allen pools eyes open, open wide. He gets out of his chair to help however Mr. N stares at him. With such intensity he freezes in his step. he doesnt move another inch.
Then Mr. N stares back at Osprey, struggling to breathe, his lungs weak he couldnt hold his breath anymore he was going to drown.
"You dumb, retarded, rapist."
"You sneak off with the woman you've groomed."
"You could have gotten me killed."
"All my friends are the ones who betray me."
"You're just like Mori, you just don't see it."
"You betrayed me too."
"Shee-"
Mr. N catches himself. As he breaks down in tears, still holding Osprey underneath the water.
Solomon starts to sweat.
Osprey's Lieutenant, Farah, yells as they claw and scratch at Ragah, "GIVE ME MY WEAPON, GIVE IT TO ME NOW. FUCK, HE'S KILLING HIM."
"WHY IS NOBODY DOING ANYTHING?"
Ragah, however, is frozen.
Demi starts to sweat frantically.
Yara turns his eyes away.
La Mathesis prays.
Whymzel holds his head, ignoring it, breathing in and out
Aspera activates her ability, ready to kill Mr. N with deadly accuracy. "Aswhalt Erwache—"
The door opens as Liam bursts through.
He walks in on Mr. N choking Osprey under the tub.
Siegfreed, beside Liam, shocked, looks at him like he's crazy.
Mr. N stops as Osprey floats up for air. Unconscious.
Mr. N wipes his tears.
"Solomon… Treat him."
