Chapter 59 - Conspiracy

After Zeke finally dismissed his students, the Yaeger knight house's preparations for battle were completely finished.

One knight titan after another had been successfully loaded onto the battleships.

His parents had also boarded the battleship, and Zeke naturally entered the family's battleship as well.

Although he could have returned to his Terran Dominion fleet, he was, after all, the heir of the family.

It was best for the heir to be seen by the family members at this time, not for his own sake, but for his parents.

He always had to consider his parents' reputation, even if he felt he didn't need to inherit the family, and even if he didn't care about inheriting the family.

But...

He still had to put on a show in front of others, because if he disgraced himself, he wouldn't just be losing his own face, but his parents' as well.

After all the main forces of the Yaeger knight house had boarded the transport ships, the fleet set off, heading to Cadia under the escort of the Imperial Navy and the navy dispatched by the Yaeger knight house.

The 13th Black Crusade had already fully begun during the time House Yaeger was preparing.

Abaddon intended to tear open a Warp rift between the Galaxy by destroying the Imperium's fortress world, planet Cadia, using the Eye of Terror.

This would split the Imperium of Man's territory in two, severing its connections and accelerating its collapse.

The chaos forces had gathered traitor space marine Legions, chaos daemon, xenos races like the ork barbarians, and chaos cultists, forming a multi-species invasion force.

Massive armies were clashing in the Cadia Sector.

The Yaeger knight house, due to a past chaos invasion in their star system, chose to leave half of their knight forces to guard their ancestral home.

The remaining 1,000 knight titans and knights chose to march out to support the battle on planet Cadia.

The Imperial Fleet slowly entered the Warp, while Zeke's Terran Dominion fleet escorted the Imperial Fleet from a distance.

Undoubtedly, in the eyes of the Terran Dominion fleet, the Imperial Fleet was far too weak—so weak that it would only take one cruiser to completely wipe out the entire Imperial Navy escort fleet.

After all, this Imperial Navy fleet only had one lunar class cruiser providing escort, along with some other frigates; this level of combat power was like ants in the eyes of the Terran Dominion fleet.

If the Yaeger knight house hadn't also dispatched two emperor-class battleships, eight strike cruisers, and some other forces to provide escort, Zeke would have even considered having the Terran Dominion fleet appear directly in front of the family members.

With the escort of the Terran Dominion fleet and Zeke's own influence, no daemon in the Warp were foolish enough to cause him trouble; instead, they all steered clear.

The first time Zeke appeared, he and the Emperor ganged up on Nurgle.

The second time Zeke appeared, he directly ran Tzeentch through with a sword.

He also conveniently released the Emperor from the machine throne, allowing the Emperor to once again catch Tzeentch and give him a beating.

Just these two battles against the Chaos Gods had already determined Zeke's status in the Warp; what daemon would be so foolish as to approach the voidship he was in?

Warp travel was remarkably fast and smooth.

The daemon that would normally appear were nowhere to be seen this time, not even a shadow; every time they saw the Imperial Fleet and the Terran Dominion fleet appearing in the distance, they would steer clear, afraid of being noticed.

Even a Khorne blood god fleet, upon seeing the Terran Dominion fleet advancing in that direction from afar, immediately bolted without stopping.

They were brave, they were 'powerful', they were fearless in death.

But that didn't mean they enjoyed making futile sacrifices; the Terran Dominion fleet's long-range attack capabilities were enough to strike terror into their hearts, able to scrap them from dozens of light-years away.

If Khorne himself hadn't given them a revelation to flee immediately, they wouldn't even have had a chance to run.

Facing such an enemy, the blood god fleet would absolutely not want to engage the Terran Dominion fleet unless they were out of their minds.

Most importantly, the boarding actions they prided themselves on were completely ignored by the enemy.

According to inferences from Nurgle, the attack craft they launched would simply turn into a pile of ash on the enemy's shields.

The enemy didn't even use the point-defense weapons installed on their battleships.

Fighting such an enemy was meaningless.

Or rather, fighting such an enemy was pure suicide, not fighting for the sake of fighting.

The Imperial Fleet, of course, was unaware of this scene; their sensors couldn't detect that far.

As for the Terran Dominion fleet, they naturally spotted the enemy.

However, seeing the enemy immediately turn and flee, they saved themselves the trouble of causing further complications; otherwise, they would have had to give them a main cannon shot.

As a result, everyone in the Imperial Fleet simply marveled at how smooth this Warp journey was.

It was truly a rare occurrence to not encounter daemon even when they had already launched an invasion.

Only the four gods of the Warp and other powerful entities like Gork knew that this was equivalent to the Emperor of the Imperium of Man personally leading the expedition.

With such a powerful human Chaos God sitting on the battleship, how desperate would they have to be to directly challenge him head-on?

Oh, no, Khorne actually wanted to go, but Khorne still needed to sit on his brass throne; unless Zeke went to him, he really didn't want to stand up.

As for the other three Chaos Gods, they temporarily didn't want to clash with Zeke, but a conspiracy targeting Zeke was already brewing.

Tzeentch was not one to be beaten without striking back.

Ever since Zeke unceremoniously ran him through with a sword and released the old man Emperor to give him a beating.

He had already set his sights on Zeke; he wanted Zeke to know the power of the God of Wisdom.

A coalition among the Chaos Gods had already begun; this Black Crusade was not only aimed at the Imperium of Man but also at Zeke, the newest human deity.

They wanted to see if they could make Zeke ascend to godhood, so he wouldn't continue to freely roam the material universe, and ideally, he would find a place to sit, just like the Emperor.

Zeke, of course, had no way of knowing about the Chaos Gods of the Warp's conspiracy.

After all, he couldn't constantly keep an eye on those four guys.

At the same time, because the Terran Dominion had not yet arrived, his power had not yet returned to its peak.

He could only fight the four gods by relying on the Warp energy stored in the machine throne, not by himself.

As for the psychic power provided by the 8 billion humans on the colony Zeke developed, it was even more negligible; this amount of psychic power was not even 0.000001% of what it needed to store Warp energy.

Sometimes quantity isn't the most important thing; there needs to be quality as well.

Only when the Terran Dominion arrives here will his power be restored to its highest level.

A storm far more terrifying than the 13th Black Crusade was brewing.

At this moment, Abaddon also didn't know that he was merely a pawn in the hands of the four gods; he actually deluded himself into thinking he could use the four gods as pawns.

The four Chaos Gods, under Tzeentch's guidance, were preparing a grand conspiracy for Zeke.

They intended to do something to Zeke, similar to how the Emperor was sealed on the golden throne, to prevent him from freely attacking them as he did now.
