"What the hell!"
Zeke cursed, unable to tolerate such a situation.
What kind of chaotic mess was this?
The 10,000 Custodians within the fleet completed their warp jump and appeared around Zeke, finally shouting,
"Protect the Emperor!"
The two thousand Chaos Space Marines that had been air-dropped were still in a daze.
Before they could even understand what was happening, they were surrounded by tens of thousands of Custodians.
What bewildered these Chaos Space Marines was that, without knowing anything, they saw tens of thousands of Custodians shouting "Protect the Emperor!" and charging towards them.
"Arminos!"
"Why have we appeared in the Imperial Palace on Terra?!"
They had no idea what had happened; one moment they were singing and dancing on a daemon world in the Warp, and the next they were on a planet with tens of thousands of Custodians.
These Chaos Space Marines were wiped out within seconds of their appearance, the Custodians swiftly dicing them into mincemeat.
Zeke paid no attention to these Chaos Space Marines; his focus was now drawn to the two daemon warships in orbit.
How could Zeke not recognize what those familiar warships were? But precisely because he did recognize them, Zeke was now extremely troubled.
What was going on? Not long ago, he received news of the emergence of the Swarm. The good news was that it was only the Tyranid Swarm; the Thorian Primordials had not yet arrived.
Now, he had received new news: high-dimensional daemon had actually appeared in this universe. Wasn't this just a massive headache?
Without Zeke needing to give orders, the Dominion fleet in orbit had already engaged the Warp daemon.
The good news was that the Terran Dominion fleet still held the upper hand, as the enemy was only two warships. But the bad news was that daemon never appeared in small numbers.
If the main daemon fleet was behind them, then things would truly be troublesome.
Zeke, who had been watching the show next to Guilliman, mobilized his powerful strength and directly manifested a giant psychic hand in the real universe, reaching out towards the high-dimensional daemon warships.
Facing the giant hand closing in on them, the high-dimensional daemon did not sit idly by. Their warship weapons began firing at full power, striking Zeke's giant hand.
However, their attacks were futile. They were, after all, only two small warships, and they seemed to have little in the way of advanced cyclical technology.
Thus, Zeke destroyed these two warships with just a wave of his hand, and he plucked the blue daemon within them back to the planet's surface with that same hand.
This step consumed a significant amount of Zeke's energy, but he was not focused on that now. He urgently needed to know where these daemon had come from.
Zeke was immensely interested in them, while the little blue daemon were utterly bewildered.
When their spaceship was completely crushed by Zeke's hand, and they themselves were caught by Zeke and brought before him, these little blue daemon still looked completely bewildered as to what had happened.
However, before they could even open their mouths to question Zeke, he spoke first.
"Daemon, how did you get here?" Zeke's voice boomed like a great bell, immediately snapping all the surrounding Imperial troops back to their senses, and the daemon as well.
But compared to the daemon, the Imperial troops were once again plunged into shock. What had they seen? They had seen tens of thousands of Custodians!
And what had those Custodians just shouted? They shouted "Protect the Emperor!"
Was the Emperor here?
In the eyes of these Ultramarines, the Emperor was not here, yet these Custodians had shouted it. And who were they protecting?
The Ultramarines' gazes converged on Zeke.
Whether it was the Custodian warriors shouting "Protect the Emperor!" just now,
Or his personal display of a giant psychic hand,
Both gave these Ultramarines a new idea.
Was there a possibility that this Zeke before them was actually an incarnation of the Emperor?
This was what the Ultramarines were thinking, and thus their gaze towards Zeke became even more reverent. However, Zeke clearly had no time to pay attention to their every move.
His attention remained on the little blue daemon in front of him.
"A familiar scent, hateful humans, it's you again. Why are you here again? Has this universe caught your eye as well?"
The little blue daemon caught Zeke's scent, then flew into a rage and shrieked hysterically.
However, it was clear that Zeke had no interest in listening to screams. He extended his psychic palm again and slapped the daemon hard across the face.
Slap!
"What gibberish are you spouting? I'm asking you, how did you get here?!"
Perhaps Zeke's force was just right, or for some other reason, but under this psychic slap from Zeke, the little blue daemon regained a bit of composure.
Immediately after, it used its negligible psychic power to probe Zeke's psychic strength. The next second, it retracted its power.
The immense psychic energy devoured its entire will. If it dared to look at Zeke again, it would completely vanish.
"So strong, so delicious, your essence is so strong, so delicious, I want to eat—"
Zeke frowned at these words, then slapped the daemon across the face again.
"Eat my ass! If you can't speak properly, I'll crush you and get one who can."
As he spoke, Zeke applied a little more force, and the little blue daemon in front of him became precarious, on the verge of disappearing.
As long as they are living beings, whether ascended or not, they fear death, they fear their complete disappearance.
Therefore, facing the threat of its imminent disappearance, the high-dimensional daemon finally spoke the answer Zeke wanted to know.
"We don't know how we came to this universe. There was just a small rift, and our two ships happened to be nearby, so we came in to take a look—"
The little daemon in Zeke's hand showed a cowering demeanor.
Zeke could now discern an expression on its otherwise expressionless face—it was an expression of extreme cowardice.
However, Zeke clearly wasn't going to continue conversing with the high-dimensional daemon. Since they couldn't invade this universe, then it was fine. He squeezed slightly with his hand and crushed the high-dimensional daemon.
Pure energy flowed into Guilliman, who was standing nearby.
High-dimensional daemon could be considered a great tonic. These creatures possessed a large amount of psychic energy, and it was exceptionally pure. They could be said to be excellent energy sources, though they also possessed powerful combat capabilities.
Since Guilliman was right there, and Zeke had a high-dimensional daemon in his hand, he simply crushed the daemon and transformed it into pure energy, sending it into Guilliman's body.
This was to replace the Sage's Sanctuary's characteristic of needing to die first before reviving.
After Zeke guided this energy into Guilliman, the blue giant who had slept for 10,000 years opened his eyes.
"Father."
"Why are there so many Custodians here? Did you come to save me, Father?"
Guilliman had just woken up, and his eyes could not yet provide him with sight.
Instead, powerful energy was strengthening his body, so he could only perceive.
He sensed a powerful psychic force, and in this universe, the only one he could imagine possessing such immense power was his father.
Therefore, after he woke up, he called out to Zeke with his eyes closed.
"Father."
