⚔️ Chapter 2:

Page 1 — The Dream That Burns
He dreams of fire.
Not warmth — consuming fire.
Every time he blinks, he sees their faces again.
His parents' mouths move, but no words come — only the sound of chains.
Then a whisper crawls through his head.
> Voice: "Do you still want to live?"
The world around him twists — the fire turns black.
The voice feels ancient, older than the gods who killed his family.
He tries to speak, but his throat is dry.
> Kael: "If it means I can kill them… yes."
The whisper laughs — low and hollow.
> Voice: "Then die once more."
Everything goes dark.

Kael's eyes snap open.
The air smells different. Fresh.
His hands are small — his body thin, weak.
He's lying in the same village, but years earlier.
He rushes outside — his parents are alive.
They're smiling. Talking. Breathing.
> Kael (thinking): "No... this isn't real."
He feels the pulse again — faint under his ribs. The same dark mark glows briefly across his chest.
The curse didn't vanish with time. It came back with him.

Page 3 — The Voice Within
At night, when the world sleeps, he hears it.
The whisper again.
> Voice: "You wanted to drag gods down. You can't even lift your own hands."
Kael clenches his fists, trembling.
The aura flickers — weak, angry, alive.
He trains in secret — push-ups, rock lifting, running till his lungs tear.
Every night, the whisper mocks him.
Every morning, he wakes stronger.
But the power isn't growing with him — it's watching him. Waiting.
---
Page 4 — The Hunt
One night, screams echo through the forest outside the village.
When Kael arrives, he sees them — monsters made of light and bone, crawling on all fours.
Creations of a lesser Goddess, hunting for sport.
A man tries to run. The creature rips him apart like cloth.
Kael freezes. His legs refuse to move.
> Voice: "There. That's the world you live in."
He stares into the monster's hollow eyes — and something inside him shifts again.
The dark aura bursts from his arms — uncontrolled, wild.
It strikes the creature, splitting its body in half.
Kael collapses, shaking.
His body feels like it's burning from the inside out.
> Kael (gasping): "What… am I?"
---
Page 5 — The Dawn of Vengeance
Morning comes.
Villagers whisper — "Demons saved us," they say.
Kael sits at the edge of the river, staring at his reflection.
His shadow moves before he does.
> Voice: "You're neither human nor divine."
Voice (whispering closer): "You are mine."
Kael doesn't respond.
He just tightens his fists, staring at the rising sun — the first light of a cursed dawn.
