From where Jaxon sat, he watched them closely as they drew nearer to the city. Their movements were calm and steady, not even slowing down.
"Mom, stop the car."
Isabel slowed to a halt. Jaxon kept his eyes on the city, weighing their options in silence. After a moment, he exhaled. "We stick to the plan. We go in after them."
Natasha and the others nodded without hesitation. Whatever he decided, they were already prepared to follow through.
One by one, they stepped out of the car, carrying only what they needed. Guns, spare knives, and a few smoke bombs strapped to their belts.
Jaxon moved towards the back of the Hilux. With a thought, items began to appear out of thin air. Boxes of food, medical kits, clothes, and various supplies stacked up quickly.
He stacked them neatly in and around the vehicle, quickly filling the space. There was so much that some had to be left just outside.
It was nearly everything he had stored, close to nine cubic meters of supplies.
